  1. The silliness/idiocy reminded us a bit of Reno 911 but we need some silly in our lives so we're sticking with it, especially since I also heard it gets better.
  2. She did say she was early but not by how much. I googled because I couldn't picture him (but did recognize him immediately) and apparently he was also on Survivor! I started watching because of the NPR Review by Linda Holmes and I'm definitely interested to see where this goes.
  3. Nice writeup in NY Times.

  5. We all know the grandparents have no case and they are actually kidnappers at this point, but does anyone actually think the show is going to handle this right? I fully expect them to win custody because this show is so ridiculous!
  6. I thought they were going to surprise us and have the kidnapper be Sue's son, specifically because she said in a recent episode that she didn't have kids. Thought that was why she was running up to the car. D'oh, I was totally wrong! Damn it, Jerry!
  7. Seriously! Plus I know A LOT of really gullible people touting this same bullshit. They aren't poor, they have internet, and they are on Facebook.
  8. Noticed in the credits that Rob Lowe's son, John Owen, wrote this episode. Not positive, but I believe Rob said on his podcast that this is his first gig out of college. Impressive!
  9. Am I the only one who noticed this? He was listening to a heart with it on like this.
  10. OK this is petty but....I just discovered this show thanks to Hulu and I wanted something mindless to watch while working out or cooking. I stopped watching Grey's years ago so I didn't know there was a spinoff. Anyway, with watching all 4 seasons in just a few weeks, I noticed that the actor who plays Jack looked completely different to me in that last episode. Thin and frail-ish. Is he ill? At one point, I did a double-take because I wasn't sure it was the same actor. Part of this may be that I happened to watch this episode on the big screen instead of the iPad so maybe it's just my imagin
  11. Wallen said he was going off the grid after the SNL incident too. “On a more personal note, I think I have some growing up to do. I think I’ve lost myself a little bit. I’ve tried to find joy in the wrong places, and I don’t know, it’s left me with less joy, so I’m going to try to work on that,” Wallen said in his video. “I’m going to take a step back from the spotlight for a little while and go work on myself. I wish I could have made country music and my friends proud this Saturday. But I respect the decision once again.” In other news, one of the songs Wallen covered on his album
  12. Apparently, he had a single shot of tequila and his BAC was only 0.02, under the legal limit of 0.08.
  13. They actually got complaints about Mr. Spoon but crazily enough, rainbow bagels garnered more! Ofcom has since confirmed that it has received 37 complaints over the jokes, with a spokesperson saying (via The Sun): "The complaints were about sexual references made by Noel Fielding." ... 47 people also complained about rainbow bagels that were made, while the series opener featuring Matt Lucas impersonating Boris Johnson received 181 complaints.
