  1. THE GANG RALLIES AROUND GARY DURING A STRESSFUL LOSS ON “unleashed” – Gary’s growing tension with Maggie comes to a head as she accidentally lets Colin out while she’s on the phone with Eric. Meanwhile, Delilah does a podcast about suicide, which helps her open up to Andrew, on a new episode of “A Million Little Things,” airing THURSDAY, OCT. 31 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (TV-14, D) Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu. Crap. I will not be watching this episode.
  2. I missed the first 10 minutes on Thursday and was able to catch them this morning. Took note of the following line from Maggie to Gary after he reported that her mother left at 5:30 and Colin wanted a walk at 5:31. "What time does your detective agency open?" So a second nod to Psych! I wonder how many others I've missed and whether they are also in the script referencing prior shows that the other actors have been in.
  3. At this rate Rome will be my favorite character (after Colin, of course).
  4. I would think that's by intent. As noted above Dan lost the woman he has been with since high school. Being comfortable with and attracted to Louise should make him feel somewhat ill at ease. The feelings may be real, admitting them and adjusting to them may prove difficult and confusing.
  5. Gordon Ramsay's ATT commercial is hilarious. Use The Cocktail Stick!
  6. Thank you for clarifying. Delilah is the lowest of the low, getting a favor from the wife of her lover is one thing....and not a good thing at that...but from the wife of the man whose baby she's carrying...wrong on so many levels.
  7. I've been wondering if, according to the show's timeline, did Delilah know she was pregnant when she got Katherine to help save her? I just can't fathom how someone, even a fictional someone, could do that.
  8. I don't get the coat businessl. Unless they eliminated part of the scene or it somehow plays into a future plot it makes no sense at all. There is so much going on in this show surely they could have found a better story for him. I don't think Gary and Maggie make a good couple at all, both have their weaknesses but they are worse together than apart. I actually don't care for Maggie at all although there is sympathy for losing her brother and suffering breast cancer. I just don't find anything redeeming about her. I love James Roday, so that lets me forgive some of the more egregious behavior from Gary.
  9. What on earth was the purpose of bringing in a so-called psychic? If it was just to add a small dose of humor -- it's Gary who scoffs at the very idea -- then ok, I smiled but that was it. No reason to go on and on to the extent of having a private reading for Delilah with Maggie attending in order to get the surprise of it being her brother communicating from the great beyond. Is the show now sponsored by the Psychic Hotline?
  10. I have always felt that Courtney Cox was the weakest actor of the six. And I'm sure that others will disagree....no problem with that. She had a way of changing her voice a little, not sure how to describe it but I think she was trying to convey seriousness, and she just couldn't do it. A lot of the plot in the proposal episode was just stupid. Everything doesn't have to be overdone. I did, however, enjoy the look on Joey's face when Chandler turned to him after going into the apartment thinking Monica had left.
  11. Was never a fan of Roger Miller's music or style, truly disliked Minnie Pearl and Johnny Cash had more songs I didn't like than those that I did. I understand why they interviewed Roseanne Cash but would have preferred Rodney Crowell music. On the other hand, always thought Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson were wonderful. Willie is probably the reason I developed an interest in the country genre in the first place. I now have a new respect for Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton is a hoot. Both ladies are oh so talented. All in all this series is wonderful. I'll be sorry when it ends.
  12. I've been looking forward to the second movie since it was announced and am holding out hope it will eventually air on USA. BUT, by doing this they are likely to reduce the ratings and therefore put a third movie in jeopardy. The original announcement said it would be shown on USA and it had better be.
  13. I would have been equally happy for Sophie or Trevin winning but agree at least from what we saw that Trevin did have the edge last night. I thought that Valerie wanted Sophie to win but couldn't justify it enough to have her beat Trevin. Meanwhile on the other side of the spatula there stood Tarek. I would have known that the cake and cookie were his just based on the messy presentation. I'm guessing that his baked goods taste good but he doesn't have the patience or discipline to create something tidy and well crafted. Of the flavor combinations presented I felt the chocolate, marshmallow, mint combo was the least appealing but Duff and Valerie appeared to like it. He also lost points with me for repeating chocolate cake so many times. My other observation is that Sophie....a truly lovely and kind young lady...was planning to give some of her winnings to a teacher (teacher's family?). And Tarek? Going to buy something for himself. Not saying that the winning shouldn't indulge in something special but Tarek's response came off as so self-centered. Indeed.
  14. How on earth did Taylor think that amount of butter was correct for one pie? As soon as they showed her cutting up the butter I knew she was going home. Last week I was thinking she would win the whole thing, shows how much I know. Pointing out the obvious, much harder to prepare apples than berries. Nectarines require more work as well. I hope that either Trevin or Sophie win, I'm not nearly as impressed with Tarek as he is.
  15. It did not appear that the kids were familiar with poke cakes and frankly I think they are beneath competition level. I've only seen them on television as vehicles to sell jello and pudding mixes. If you are talented enough to make pastry cream and caramel sauce I don't see using it in a poke cake but there isn't any reason why you couldn't. I think they should have had coconut cake instead of the carrot. So much easier to make with pantry ingredients and a coconut cream filling of some sort would have been delicious.
  16. EXACTLY. She didn't even have peeled carrots to work with, had to clean them off first. Big disadvantage for the baker who wound up with carrot cake. This is the second week that Tarek's presentation has been messy. At least he's been warned. Was there a size criteria for the hedgehog and I just missed it somehow? Next week's challenge seems to be pies and it's about time there is something a bit more challenging. I expect to see both girls in the finale along with whichever boy does better next week.
  17. Interesting analysis. I don't see Regina's mother or Rome's father as likely although they meet the criteria....they just wouldn't affect the entire cast that much. Ashley, maybe, especially if everyone finds out more about her and her role/relationship with Jon. That leaves us (well me, actually) with two choices. Barbara Morgan was a focal point over a number of episodes and yes, I think PJ is Jon's son so she is a definite possibility. Unfortunately though I think that it's Colin, "There’s a Colin story coming that will break your heart." implies that he dies, but Nash is not the most reliable person describing things that are going to happen so I'll take it with a grain of salt. But somebody dies...so who is it? I'm still thinking it's Colin, hit by a car driven by Delilah. Everyone forgives her while comforting Gary. I'm not certain I can watch if it looks as though it's going to be Colin.
  18. And now there's this, make of it what you will: https://tvline.com/2019/08/28/a-million-little-things-season-2-death-who-will-die/ Wasn't sure if I needed the SPOILER protocol since this is already a spoiler thread but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.
  19. especially since none of the contestants were familiar with credit cards I thought someone said something about the credit card chip, sort of heard that in passing, would have been hilarious if one of them had put a chocolate or butterscotch chip where the microchip is usually embedded.
  20. I wasn't a fan either. They have featured him quite a bit so far -- or he annoyed me so I just noticed him more -- and I had assumed he'd be a finalist. Going to have to rethink the contenders now that he's gone.
  21. Close-ups, so ,many close-ups of sweating. Disgusting commercials, I change the channel when they come on.
  22. I came here to post the same sentiment. I love coffee, but also don't think it goes equally well with the donut flavors they were using. All of the twists are unfair, some more so than others. When will contestants learn to follow the instructions? They were given an example of what their donut should look like....so make it look like that. Don't volunteer for elimination! Would have been interesting if more of the bakers had used bundt pans but as it stood the two up for elimination were the only ones who did. Tarek's donut was the sloppiest thing ever, he should have been in the bottom two and he knew it. Brady plays to the camera and Sophie isn't far behind him in that respect.
  23. Best episode they've ever had. Worked on every level (except the flat-line sound). Panelists were very comfortable with each other and had mutual respect. Mayim and Joel seemed to be in conversation a few times and she also chatted with Kal. Donald and Sarah have known each other for years. The only "odd man out" was Bebe but they encouraged and supported her and she seemed to be enjoying herself while coming up with the best answer of the night. My answers were similar to the ones mentioned above but for this episode I think the game took second place to the panelists. The contestants seemed to have a good time as well. Need this panel back at least once a season, preferably twice.
  24. I didn't care for last night's episode due to the twist. The pairings were bad enough....force someone to work with another person who may not be on the same level....but plans were made and in the process of execution when the rug was pulled out from under them. As it was they already had to make their cupcakes and a platter (forgot what they called it) to display them on). So each pair consulted and came up with their design and who was doing what and then they had to change course and work with a different person. And for what reason? Nothing that I could think of. I don't think I have a favorite but the two who have gone home thus far were probably the right ones to go. A little bit of Tarek goes a long way and I think Brady is going to wear thin.
