It might not directly translate, but there is a possibility it could and StupidLee should have entertained that possibility. Moreover, StupidLee admitted she had some training in that kind of counseling but it wasn't her field, yet, all it took was for Dumbarella to say I really trust yoooooouuuuuu! and she goes ahead. Like I wrote in my initial post in this thread, someone call the Board of Medicine and get StupidLee's license revoked or at least get her censured. She admits she's under qualified to provide a medical service to a patient, yet does it anyway thus violating the "do no harm" edict. If StupidLee is stupid enough to compromise her professional integrity and her medical license to please her boyfriend, then she is more stupid than I thought.

Wow, like the viewer couldn't tell Dumbara's darkness descent was not an "adjustment on the fly"...........The writers did a horrible job with Barbara, including this Dumbarella average everyday psycho killer. Seriously, they couldn't figure out what to do with this character they took the easy way out: make her into a batshit crazy killer. Kill her off. Don't let any of her Dumbara DNA be a part of Barbara Gordon. I hope Erin Richard's contract was a good one so she'll get residuals for a very long time. Heller owe it to her.

Great case. Red Lobster, misplaced hamburgers, fear of breaking a grand daughter. JJ: Your son appears to be a smart young man. Mr. Martin: Appearances can be deceiving. JJ really seemed to enjoy that case.

StupidLee suspected Barbara had some kind of residual trauma when she kept pushing her to get counseling. And I disagree with the recap comment that Jim's eye exercises meant "Go ahead and counsel Babs!". I think it was more "don't do it. Don't do it!" But StupidLee did it anyway (because it's Gotham). StupidLee had worked at Arkham, so she would have been aware that people can be volatile, especially those with some kind of traumatic experience. (Sheesh...I work in a primary care medical office and we've had to call the cops because a patient becomes angry and threatening when doc is going over their cholesterol test and medications!)

Don't forget the the campy, fight music supplied by the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. Psychiatric hospitals have 2 kinds of physicians: psychiatrists and 'general medical' physicians. The shrinks take care of the psychiatric problems. The general medical physicians take care of medical problems like diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, sore throats, runny noses, etc. I presume StupidLee was a general medical physician at Arkham, taking care of the patient's general medical problems, not their psychiatric problems.

My college roommate used to rummage through my belongings looking for money, my checkbook, etc. For the longest time she thought I kept a diary into which I wrote nasty stuff about her (it was a pocket calendar thing into which I used to write when library books were due, when papers were due, when test dates, boyfriend phone numbers, etc.) Anyhow, she never found where I kept my Emergency emergency $50. Just a thought, does Toaster mean "fracking" as in the natural gas drilling procedure or does Toaster mean "fracking" as in original Battle Star Galactica "fracking"?
-
Can't wait to see how fracking gets dragged into this.

I agree with you about Susan. Maybe Edward would have been sent to Chillingborough like his grandfather, Col. Layton? Or would Merrick insist upon another school seeing how Chillingborough turned out "soft" white men like Col. Layton, Nigel, and Guy and allowed an Indian like Hari into it's sacred halls? Scary.

It was probably VHS and they wore the tape out watching it so many times. ;-) Can't wait until next season when he gives his Mama a big ol' blue heart necklace, which she drops into the Gotham River during the season finale. I suppose Bruce will install poles behind the fireplace when Dick Grayson comes along.

Yup. This is a job for FanFic! Lady Manners, Lady Chatterjee, and Hari would have banded together to kill Ronnie, especially after learning that Merrick was using the Laytons and Susan. Sarah and Lady Manners were on friendly terms when they finally met at the Lake. Lady M was the one who suggested the book of poetry to give to the Nawab as a thank you gift. And who knows what Guy wrote to Sarah in that second letter which she did not answer. Perhaps he told her that Merrick snooped in Susan's records. Perhaps after that letter, Sarah got into contact with Lady Manners and joined the Club. And maybe Dmitri had a suspicion that Pandit Baba might not be involved when all of the Bibighar suspects were cleared of any involvement in Merrick's strange and unsavory death. Anyhow, the more I watch the program, the more I get the feeling that Merrick's real target was Edward. A little child he could mold into the ultimate Sahib, the ultimate Merrick

Dang! I missed that completely. I don't think Guy ever got around to telling Nigel because they went to the Layton's for dinner and Nigel had to leave for Deli or Bombay early the next morning. The only thing we know Guy told Sarah during their tour of the Mogul Room was that he remembered Hari from school. And I agree with you if Sarah or her parents knew Merrick snooped in Susan's file, Merrick would have wished Pandit Baba got to him first. Just a crazy thought, but wouldn't it have been a real twist if it was Sarah, Lady Manners, Lady Chatterjee and Hari Kumar who arranged for Merrick's strange and unsavory death?

Holy Hot Mess, Batman! Fish: Somewhere between leaving the Strange Island of Doctor Dollmacher, she lands the helicopter, gets an extreme makeover (hair, makeup, clothes), finds a boat and sets sail for Gotham. Ummm yeah. I liked that Fish gave Harvey a pass and realized Butch's actions were due to being changed. PS, cats like fish for dinner. Daddy Wayne: He can't be The Phantom because Phantom is based in Bangalla, not Gotham. He's definitely not the nephew of the nephew of the nephew of the Lone Ranger (because that's Britt Reid. And in some versions, Britt Reid and Bruce Wayne are frenemies.) The Shadow? No, that's Lamont Cranston. The Doctor? No, because the BBC would be very angry. Dumbarella the psychokiller: So now she's a psychotic killer who's offed her parents and tried to off Thompson. Yawn. I wish she gets off my screen. Get thee to Arkham. Thompson: Someone call the Board of Medicine and get this quack's license revoked. StupidLee agrees to do psych counseling, even though she admits that she isn't her field and even though there's a clear conflict of interest, because Dumbarella likes her? StupidLee, just stick to autopsies because you have no business providing medical services to living, breathing people. And I hope you aren't the future Batgirl's mama because she don't need your StupidLee DNA. Penguin: I suppose he watched DiCaprio in Titanic one too many times. I so wanted a big ol' lightning bolt to come out of the menacing cloud and give him a Frankstein's Monster electric shock.

Which station did the Jewel Marathon?

Looking at the characteristics of the writing as you mentioned is a reasonable way to determine if the entries were fabricated. But if all the entries are with the "same pen" (blue ink, black ink, ballpoint, etc.) it would be harder to ascertain if the entries were fabricated, imo. Maybe JJ should clarify what she means by the "same pen".

Watched The Mogul Room on WETA non-UK last night. It was a blast to see Leslie Grantham (Den Watts on East Enders) as the Signals Sergeant. That is probably my favorite episode in the series for the scenery: the scene of Charles Dance in the bath tub, the scene of Charles Dance only in his shorts, the scene of Charles Dance looking suave in his white shirt unbuttoned at the neck, the scene of Charles Dance being caught off guard tucking in his shirt tail and not expecting to see Sarah sitting waiting for him, the scene of Charles Dance standing against the fabulous background of the hills, the scene of Charles Dance standing in front of the window in the Mogul Room. I wonder if he had told Nigel that Merrick read Susan's records if that would have prevented the marriage? Mildred and Colonel Layton didn't seem pleased that Merrick and Susan were engaged.

While I never kept a diary, my sister used to use her special Parker Jotter Ballpoint pen for her diary. And it HAD to be the Parker Jotter----no other pen was good enough for her diary. i remember she misplaced the pen one day and tore up the room looking for it. So, I don't get why JJ thinks that no one uses the same pen all the time.

Car trampoline. I remember a case from several years ago. Plaintiff tells Defendant to "jump in", which he did and refused to pay for the damages.

When Gilligan came to Me, it was unedited. Again, the only thing I caught was the slightly sped up Honeybee's song during the evening run of the show. But the two Gilligan episodes I saw last saturday were definitely edited. The Hamlet edits were more apparent than the radioactive seeds edits. I'm usually not up that early on saturday mornings so I don't know how long this has gone on. As far as I can tell, Andy Griffith isn't edited, neither is Star Trek. -
Magic Mirror Man's Love Connection! Seriously, the guy behaved like he was on Love Connection telling Chuck Woolery about his bad date. I think they BOTH made an awful decisions about their Atlantic City "date".

Intervention rooming house. I l-o-v-e-d when the plaintiff said she was drinking vodka to dull the pain of her broken teeth and that's why she was drunk on the video.......

I was looking forward to the handicap space beat down because in DC, the current controversy is the police chief's car was illegally parked in a clearly marked handicap space. It would have been nice to see JJ beating down the defendants and imagining her comments to them to be the same comments she would have given to this gem “I don’t think too many people would spend too much time thinking about one incident of a driver putting a car in the wrong place.” Youtube, I eagerly await thee.

When Me aired Gilligan in the evenings, the shows weren't edited. Although, the sound on the Honeybee's episode was sped up a hair. -
I hope it will.

First of all, I want to thank the dumbass thugs in Baltimore for rioting. Thanks to them, Judge Judy was pre-empted so that we could have live reports of the thuggery. Okay, Baltimore is due north of my location, but pre-empting JJ, especially when Toaster gave a 5 gavel review, is unforgivable. Come on Channel 5! You could have put JJ on Channel 20! *Fuming and waiting for repeats!*
