  1. I'm rewatching Season 1 and in the first 3 episodes I hate Camille. She was a bossy little bitch. Glad I stayed the course because it got better.
  2. 4038 Killian St house was purchased for $140,000 5/24/2021. Finally pending according to Zillow at $349,000 not $355,000. The bowling alley entry way was super ugly. Don't know why they didn't reduce the step to just the front door and entry closet and open up the rest of the floor. The master bath floor was distinctly ugly with the green tile. I would have left the accent wall in the shower but everything else should have been white including the counter top. It's too distracting with 4 patterns in a small bath. The green accent wall in bedroom DID NOT match the tile. I liked the pattern but thought it should have been painted grey like the doors. And don't even with the super ugly bird picture that bled over the white tile in the guest bath.I'm really hoping it was a sticker that could be removed. SO UGLY. The roof looked good and getting rid of the screen porch and shed was a good call. Hate the color red so I didn't like the front door. The kitchen wasn't bad but needed a rolling butcher block or small island to set it apart from the living room. Please stop Ashley from calling herself a designer. She is awful.
  3. Pepperidge: bought for $420,000 but hasn't sold yet contrary to what they said on show. Very ugly backsplash in kitchen and the bathrooms were awful with their 3 different tile choices. It was nice they laid same tile throughout it really does help keep a FL house cooler. I would have ditched one of the fireplaces, they are totally unnecessary in Orlando. I think 1 is un-permitted because there's only 1 listed in the property appraiser's notes. I believe the Keith bought it with his construction business because nowhere on the notes does it say Blueprint as the buyer. I do like they are giving more realistic numbers this season for what things cost. A new roof is a huge expense.
  4. When will the Season 10 Christmas special air? on Christmas day?
  5. They didn't sell it contrary to what they said. I don't care about the water heater but the laundry room didn't have a door. That bothered me more.
  6. I realize this is for entertainment but I can't with their lying. The did buy the Catalpa house for $316,000 on 8/19/21 but still haven't sold it. For sure not for over $400,000. Let's be real, the original floors were butt ugly and that planter needed to go. And I wouldn't buy a $400,000 house with a carport. It should have been closed into a garage. I mean they weren't even comping the washer and dryer. It's also on the wrong side of Conway road. The better side of Dover Shores is on the East side.
  7. Was this the last episode of the season?
  8. Their latest episode that takes place in Edgewood was funny and truthful about the small town. And the ticket at the end: priceless! Edgewood is well known in these parts for giving tickets. It's their only way to make money for the town. Everyone in the area knows to slow down in Edgewood. The police sit in their driveway of Town Hall on Orange Ave with their radar guns and stop people everyday. They don't even leave the property! On other note hated the house. Hated the brick wall inside and that they didn't open it up to the living area. And they were too cheap to move the plumbing in the 2nd bath. Why is the sink still in the corner when it could have been moved over to the right a little ways so you didn't have to stand next to the toilet to use the sink?
  9. I'll be a devil's advocate. When you have to practically build the house from the ground up new- why should you sell it at a loss? This is America and we are capitalists. My first home I spent $134000 on and still had to rehab it, and this was in 1994. That was the cost to get into a very sought after area with great schools (even though I home schooled our child) stuff like that matters for resell which is why we bought where we did. Materials and labor are expensive and I feel Mina and crew work hard to keep the costs low. That seems to be why she buys the same tile and carpet and uses it in all her houses.
  10. Who goes to a sports bar to look at the view? Where were the TV's for people wanting to see sports? I liked the 4 season patio room just not the bar all around it. Should have been 2 tops and 4 tops around windows and 6 and 8 set back but on a riser to still get the view.
  11. Anybody else hate what they did to the Opening theme music? I had liked the old one so much I use it as a ringtone on my phone. The new one, meh. I don't like the slower version. We called it murder music.
  12. They had that show it was called Trading Spaces.
  13. Perfect statement. Most people are too lazy or don't know how to start to add their own touch to their homes. I do so I appreciated the "blank" canvas. Nothing wrong with it for me. And the basement is so big who cares if there is a bowling alley? I will get better at my game. And in my neighborhood almost everyone has a 3 car garage and guess what? NO ONE parks in them. All cars are on the driveway and I'm in FL. We always laugh as we walk by and say it's those northerners who couldn't part with their snowblowers and packed them and moved them to FL to rot in the garage! So a gym is perfect and it's on the ground floor so if you wanted to take your exercise to the driveway you can. There are some neighbors of mine that have set up gyms in their garages( they are all from Miami) and hire a private instructor so they can have group lessons. Brian and Mika said it early on, the others were designing for a magazine spread. They were designing for a family. And after the year we've all had they got it.
  14. And this is the reason I liked theirs the best. I wouldn't have to spend the $$$$ to rip out shit I don't want to put in something that actually works in the home. I want to put MY own touch on MY home not someone else's idea of what I should like. Now if they had been designing for a specific family I could see N&J vision or A&M's but never the design star winners. How much of that crap would I have to fix before I could even move in?
  15. I don't normally like Drew's rooms but his designer was too notch this week on the extra beds and bathrooms for me. I like calm and subtle, Jonathan's were too loud and showy for me. It's not what I would want at the end of the day and time for rest. I also loved the little hidden attic room.
  16. The picture is time lapsed. If you look closely it's the same people walking. They just didn't scrub out the ferris wheel.
  17. Sorry Murph lost $60000 for his team. But no one called him on it like they called Michelle for being annoying. I would rather hang with her than him anyday.
  18. Does anyone have the exact finish order of the teams? I've searched but haven't come up with the accurate one yet. I would like to see how my hometown did did. I kept seeing them on the board and few spots above Stray dogs and a few of the other lower teams but can't find if they finished.
  19. Does anyone know the rules to make a team? I noticed (I'm on episode 3) that each team has at least 1 female member. Is that a rule?
  20. Dan Webster is one of the few Congress people to actually give back any money left over from his year serving to the general fund. If his office has any overage after they have settled their bills he gives it back. He's done this every year since he started in office, I believe. On another note, I live in Central Fl and had need of a new complete HVAC unit. I called 4 companies to give me quotes and Webster Air was one of them. They had never done business on my side of the county but were open to it. They gave me a very competitive bid which we went with. They were on time, very clean, very respectful and I never heard their phones going off or them taking calls while they were in my house. The job took 2 full days to finish. The office is staffed by the wives and sisters who are extremely cheerful and polite. We ended up selling that house not long after and I needed to call for some paperwork for closing and they remembered me and were very helpful when I needed it. I would and have highly recommended their company to everyone who has a need for them. I know my best friend used them and had the same experience.
  21. I agree with the notion that the new house in FS is a big hallway. Could you see a family of 4 using that dining room. It barely had enough room for 2 chairs and a side table. And the nasty old wallpaper idea. Gross! And Karen made it harder to take down by applying polyurethane over it.
  22. The Websters rent from her in-laws, the Senator and Mrs. They are the ones on the deed.
  23. Just finished The Circle France. Loved how they did the final. Everyone seemed so supportive as well even though several were duplicitous.
  24. Starting watching the circle france. They came to play for sure prize is 100,000 euros. Read an article that said they filmed all of US, Brazil and France at the same time in the same apartment complex.
  25. I hate this cast they are loathsome. NO one can sing please quit! I had to mute every time someone thought they could. They have no redeeming values. I had hope for Parker and Madison but they are now becoming tiresome too. Not DVRing this anymore....
