  1. My issue with mixing Celebrities and non-celebrities was I did not remember a single one of the non-celebs. Even the final 3, I only remembered Cirie. Peacock PLEASE next time make everyone unknown. It makes for a better game, just watch the Australian and UK versions when no one really knows anyone else.
  2. 1604 Campbell Ave. Orlando. So glad they left the terrazzo floors they are wonderful at cooling down FL homes. The colors were not over the top and no weird art going on. I would want a better carport or garage instead of parking in the backyard or at the curb. The curved shower tower was too small for that shower but a nice upgrade. I liked there was no real stupid drama and they just got the job done. Love seeing Conway represented again. The prices were real they did buy for $350,000 and sell for 499,000 on 12/23/22. Glad they replaced the roof. When I was young our family had the same roofing with pebbles and every time it rained pebbles would fall off the roof.
  3. I wish they would stop the sad sappy crap. Just show the person at their work and what makes it "tough." Everyone needs the $$ so I don't want to hear why they do. Showcase some new jobs. Alligator wrestler, big pipe plumber, window washer on high rises, waste water worker, etc. Maybe ask Mike Rowe, I kinda thought he be better at this hosting.
  4. If it's not in Central Florida I'm out. That was the ONLY reason I watched.
  5. I wonder about the nastiness the little guy realtor has against Dlaine. Did she beat him at a sale? I give her props, she has a family and is still working it hard. Maybe he should look into that. And maybe reughn in his henchmen junior realtors.
  6. As an American it irritates me that they take jobs away from American workers by bringing their crews in front Canada.
  7. I hope they can still film on Guadalupe this year as it just got hit by Hurricane Fiona. At least 1 person died in the floods. The islands will need all kinds of help to get back together.
  8. I just found out that that Grace Whiteside is Mike's daughter from Salvage Dawgs. Him and Robert Kulp, own Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke, VA. She used to help in the store and go on salvage jobs. Occasionally she designed pieces to sell in the store. An incredibly talented family. Mike's wife Suzie is an artist as well.
  9. What is the title to the episode where they show the warehouse inside? I must FF too much because I missed it
  10. Raeford episode- address really is 3101 S. Bumby Ave. This is at least the 2nd time they've lied about the address in the title. Since the house is on the corner they use the other street as the address. I know this house. It is diagonally across the street from the Orange County Juvenile Jail and courthouse. Around the corner is the Orange County Morgue. It used to be the 4-H facility until the county wanted it and moved the Extension Office down Conway Rd. I think this house was hit by hurricanes in our triple whammy of Charlie, Jeanne and Francis in 2004 and was never really repaired. The house was built in 1946 and was quite large for that time 4/2 with 1819 SF and a separate garage. They probably had Orange groves around it back then. The area was originally in the zone of several fish camps nearby. The first recorded deed was 1973 for $25,000 and the last is Jan 6, 2022 for $0. So they must have had a deal between Duke and the homeowner's estate. But the property was deeded to Hourglass which is the Zombie's Company. I think most of what was done was OK. There was probably a homeowner directing them for what to decorate. I'll need to drive by and see how it turned out now that it is done. Surprised that they could get windows so quickly. My dad had to wait over 5 months and my massage therapist has been waiting 6 months for theirs. I did see there was no glass in the showers as usual for their showing. I didn't see a front walk but maybe I missed it. They did a crap job on landscaping as per normal.
  11. I would like someone in Atlanta area to peel the onion on this show. I call impossible to put in 2000 sq ft of flooring and drywall, tape, and mud and finish and prime and paint in one day. The quarter round for a 2000 sq ft house would take a minimum of 3 days. I've also never heard of magnetic floors would love to learn more.
  12. Yup and stopped tape rolled it back to play it for my spouse. Quality sucks. Maybe film crew is getting tired of their haphazard schtik and are getting even.
  13. And this folks is why you stick to what you know. New county and then a new city. Sounds like Lake Mary is worse than the City of Edgewood which makes them terrible. You already have relationships with City of Orlando and Orange County just stay in your lane. I'm not even going to bother to look up info on this cause it's not worth my time.....
  14. 530 San Juan Blvd-Bought 6/21 for $215,000 and Realtor says it JUST sold for $500,000 on 7/22/2022. (they said $595,000 on show). There are no comps in the neighborhood since nothing is that big. I guess that's why it took almost a year to sell. Never buy the most expensive house in the hood...Don and Diane did buy the house so hopefully they reined Ashley in on her design choices. Back at Daltile again. Hate the showerheads in all the baths. Also why have such a huge main shower and not use that extra room to put in a toilet room? This was truly a zombie house. No wonder there's no tile backsplash in the kitchen. They sink looks sad in there with no accent around it and no window. All the LVLs are off center and I know that would drive me cray to look at every day. And to not enclose the carports is just wrong. There was plenty of room to do it and they could of even kept the windows in that front room of the carport too. I guess it's the Keith show now since he's starting in every episode as the main flipper.
  15. 114 North Brown Ave In Thornton Park. Supposedly bought for $400,000 and sold for $600,000. I have driven by this house for over 50 years. I know they would lose square footage but it looks like it needs the front porch. That sad little awning isn't going to cut it for me. This was owned by a couple who quit claimed to One person so I suspect because a sale didn't really happen it was a Reno for the single owner. Probably had been rented for awhile because the flippers companies didn't buy it. It was bought in 2008 and quit claimed in 2014. I know they are trying to "educate" people but I was telling at the TV put shims under the cabinets. Easiest and cheapest option there is for an unlevel floor. The windows were probably stored in the garage and they wanted to highlight a local store. It would be unusual to get 10 in perfect order aftermarket especially for older windows. The black fireplace was ugly. Should have left it white. The texture on the walls should have been dealt with. It doesn't cost that much to skim coat it to make it less bumpy. What was the point of showing us the hidden door and then NOT OPEN it to reveal what's behind it? And what the hell was the light strip of flooring in the main bedroom? Why wasn't it stained or replaced? I would be freaking if my 50 gallon water heater was above my head. That's why we put in a tankless one. Also did they get a back of truck deal on those stupid shower spray things? Didn't the last 4 houses get them? Hated the brown inset things in the kitchen cabinets as well. Didn't go with the rest of the kitchen vibe. Not sure I understood why they had so many pavers in the backyard. They really didn't go anywhere. Hope the homeowner has a leaf blower since the leaves can't break down on fake grass. You will continuely have to blow them off.
  16. 3595 Emerywood Lane 32812 Sold for $450,000 on 3/28/22 to Parhelion Homes which is a holding company they use a lot. It has not been resold as of 7/22/22. Home has 2450 sq ft. property appraiser says it only had 5 bed/2.5 bath. Pool was put in 1973 so they really did need to resurface it. Last home sold in Oak water Pointe, which is the neighborhood sold in May for $460,000. So it probably needed to be updated as well. But no sales in the last year for more than that. A lot of homes in Conway have that horrible coquina rock. Mine did and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. We have friends that will not update their homes and remove it. It looks so dated from the 1970's. It looks like they got a surplus sale on that green tile. I think they've used it 4 times now. Hate the geometric tile it will look dated in within 3 years. They said they sold for $710,000 but it hasn't closed yet.
  17. If that is the ones on the show, I first thought they linked them for the dunes. But there are 2 walk overs so they could definitely unlink them at the house and join them up down the walkway if needed. Linked it limits them because no way would I rent a house that others would walk in front of my windows every time they went down to the beach.
  18. You need to get Britbox on Prime. They just released their 4th season.
  19. The difference with the teams are that Brandon and Roosevelt want to do a quality job. They want to take their time and get it right. The other teams just want to "design" and finish.
  20. Netflix originally teased the arrival of Snowflake Mountain last August, as a new addition to its unscripted shows. This suggests that filming took place during autumn and winter of 2021. There's no way I'd be swimming in that cold water ever. I'm from FL and our water never gets below 68 degrees. I've been to Maine in the summer and I swear there were ice cubes floating in the lake with people swimming in it. I'm no snowflake because I've always camped, hiked, cooked over a campfire, chopped my own wood, and slept in a tent on the ground. etc. But Hell No to cold water! Impressed they were swimming in it.
  21. Really because I thought Liam should win. I felt he actually grew the most. Snowflake Mountain is filmed in the beautiful Lake District region, located in north-west England. Famous not only for its lakes, but it's stunning forest and mountain scenery too, the Lake District is a popular tourist attraction for hiking and camping holidays - making it the perfect setting for Netlfix's back-to-nature show. The majority of filming took place in Cumbria, in the Lake District National Park, although some filming also took place at The Graythwaite Estate(opens in new tab). The Graythwaite Estate is owned by the Sandys family, who have lived on the 5000 acre estate for over 500 years. The estate is also home to Graythwaite Hall, a 17th century manor house whose gardens and grounds are open for the public to visit from April until mid August.
  22. When is this show coming back? On the website given the big news is she gave birth to her 2nd kid. That was a long time ago.
  23. Did they only do 2 things in LaGrange? If more I missed it. This series just sucks.
  24. When/If Neville goes I really wish they would put a female DI in place. They only had 1 for a episode and she was too quirky. I'm sure there are smart females DIs out there.
  25. 4532 Bradley Ave-built 1960, sq ft 1965 owned by Parhelion Homes as of 3/24/22. It did close at $300,000. Not one sale in the surrounding area has sold for more than $400,000. It takes Orange County about 30 days to post once closing happens. So depending on when/IF they really closed, it should show up soon. One bathroom had 3 different tiles in a small shower-large white hex, mini white hex, and the green tile they ran out of in another flip.3rd time they've used it must have bought way too much from a salvage sale at DalTile. Both my spouse and I said the niche looked like the SS cabinets they have you put your urine samples in at the Drs office. Where was the washer and dryer? And once again a half size water heater for a 1600 SF house? The second bath they just sprayed paint on the tiles. That's what you do in a stage 1 diy Reno, not a pro flip. They couldn't be bothered to paint the floor on the back patio they just threw a fake grass rug over it. And the Tiki bar is still too short. I thought they were going to raise the roof? Guess they ran out of $$ since they went $6200 over budget. This is not in the best of areas near Conway. Memorial Middle and Oak Ridge High are not known to be great schools.
