  1. As much as I'd love to see the early season queens again - Pandora, Yara, Sonique, Jiggly - I'm pretty much dragged out at the moment. Plus Silky AND Eureka is a lot.
  2. So of the three eliminated queens including the only two of colour, they randomly bring back the white one?
  3. Imagine if Ru marked her down for drawing attention to herself in a Lipsynch for her life!
  4. Strewth, that was the worst Snatch Game since....longer than my terrible memory can recall. The funniest thing about it was everyone thinking they'd done such a great job immediately after. Oh, and Anita, obviously. It's always fascinating when the disappointment of the eliminated queen is so palatable. Interesting interview with Art here.
  5. I'm guessing they cast the queens on accents alone; even as an Aussie I found some of them incredibly hard on my bloody ears. Nude illusion will never be one of my favourite runway themes and the hometown looks were a little underwhelming, except for Karen from Finance, who I suspect has this competition in the bag. Ru is really phoning it in if he's going to judge in boy drag all season.
  6. This season has been going so long that when Valentina asked in Untucked which queen took the longest to get ready and Rosé answered "She left first", I had to google who the hell that was.
  7. Symone has been my favourite since she strutted into the werkroom in that mini dress made of polaroids of herself.
  8. Current standings on DragRaceUk twitter - Team Ellie: 1748 likes, 299 retweets Team Lawrence: 5192 likes, 1380 retweets Team Tayce: 6884 likes, 1293 retweets Team Bimini: 34300 likes, 9864 retweets
  9. When Lawrence was having trouble with the script [and the ongoing grudge with Ellie] I was sure the episode was building to a Scottish lip sync showdown, so points for zagging when I thought the zig was so obvious. The letters from their Mums was a lovely touch. #TeamBimini
  10. Same rules: Tayce was labelled as Jane Turner, creator of Kath. Also Ellie was labelled as Matt Lucas, even though she was doing Vicki Pollard.
  11. I just this past week read Graham Norton's 'The Life and Loves of a He-Devil' and while he speaks well of Tina he also admits they were a terrible match [mostly to Tina being almost twenty years Graham's junior]. They met in New York and tried living together in London but it was short lived and tumultuous. Graham did get a new dog out of it, though.
  12. I was 18 in 1981 [more of a Colin than a Ritchie] and moved to the big city - man oh man, did this show hit hard. The real life Jill
  13. Bimini in the Snatch Game to Bimini on the runway [both look and banter] was the runaway winner. Love her and desperately want her to take the crown. Hoo boy, that awkward silence following Sister Sister's "Let's bonk" in mini Untucked...
  14. What's up with the unsupportive partners this season? Kahmora's boyfriend who didn't want her doing drag and now Eliott's fiance who doesn't understand her depression issues? How the hell are they gonna love themselves if something something...
  15. Seven months? That's insane. United KingDolls should be UK's next Eurovision entry; they won't do any worse than any of the last decade's acts. I was sure Ellie was going to be raked over the coals for that seagull mascot monstrosity so imagine my surprise at all the praise. And as much as I would have preferred Asttina return, I felt a little sorry for Cherry getting no votes after working the front line during the pandemic break.
  16. There was a ballet challenge in Season 5 that Alyssa Edwards won that was danced to a voice-over narration of Ru's life story.
  17. My favourite bit was Ru desperately struggling to come up with a reason why he wasn't doing a Scottish accent for Ellie Diamond.
  18. Sister Sister is becoming a repository for sad stories; last week with Cherry's tales of Traveler childhood and this week with Ginny's non-binary background. She's the Emotional Support Queen of the season. I hope Ginny is still around for Snatch Game; I think she'd be a fantastic Alan Carr.
  19. Never tell a sad story about your childhood at the make-up mirror or you'll be gone by episode's end.
  20. Whether it was a talking head or a mirror chat or an Untucked conversation, everything Tamisha said made me lean forward in my chair. That queen is fascinating [the others queens were slack jawed enough at her being 49 and having three children, imagine their reactions when they hear about the cancer comeback!] Let's keep this group, bring over Symone and Olivia from the other and call it a season.
  21. I'm fully onboard with this observation in Anita Singh's review in the UK Telegraph: "...Joe Black, apparently only 30 but carrying the world-weary air of a 1940s film star still working well into her 90s."
  22. Eliott [and Kahmora] were the last to arrive in the Pork Chop Dock so they had the least time to bond with the others [plus Kahmora had the advantage of already knowing Denali]. The telling vote was the tie with Utica, who had been there for some time and probably suffered from the usual anti-clown bias amongst the queens. Long story short: I agree, it was a dumb thing to do for the sake of pointless drama. My guess is they know the other group exists [like you said, six is a tiny number] so they thought Elliott was spying for them. Maybe they thought the other group would get a vote to eliminate one of the winners or something equally stupid in this season of TWISTS!
  23. If you can remember the order of their names, that's how they're supposed to stand on the mat [first name to our left, second name on the right].
