  1. I know it's just part of the show that she has to be suspicious... but it's weird that Nadia is suddenly so suspicious of "Professor Jonathan" after that party. Just because he seems to be around and an outsider ? Nadia is a master detective, haha
  2. YES. Lisa hates him. I recently rewatched that scene and you can see her blood boil. The whole scene is very strange and hilarious to watch now. https://www.bravotv.com/vanderpump-rules/season-8/episode-20/videos/jax-taylor-calls-vanderpump-rules-his-show
  3. I really hope no one gets fired from the show for this scandal (and I don't think any of them will be!) It's so dramatic and I want to see it all play out. This is what reality tv is made for!
  4. Very very shallow but Lala looked terrible this episode. And I know that this is mostly because the scales are lifted from our eyes, but Raquel seemed like psycho this episode. The blank look she had as Katie's mom talk. The whole "joking" about being attracted to the pinata. Kristina Kelly is the hero of the season with her natural mean girl energy being used correctly: snuffing out who doesn't belong there. (I like her, but c'mon, she, Stassi, nd Katie always give extreme mean girl vibes)
  5. Ariana and Katie are selling merch: https://pagesix.com/2023/03/08/katie-maloney-ariana-madix-overwhelmed-by-tom-sandoval-scandal-support/ Here's the website: https://shopsomethingabouther.myshopify.com/ As with every Bravo-lebrity business, I am SO skeptical that anyone will ever even get these clothes. The whole thing is so funny and crass and a good reminder that everyone and anyone connected with this show is going to try to monetize monetize. also I wonder if Kristen's deisnged the t-shirts haha
  6. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/tom-sandoval-apologizes-ariana-madix-060314122.html This really sounds like it was written by an AI. It's very strange. Too little too late.
  7. This write-up sums it up well I think: https://www.vox.com/culture/2023/3/7/23629293/vanderpump-rules-tom-sandoval-cheating-raquel-leviss-scandoval "Rather, the Scandoval is so scandalous because the two have seemingly managed to keep it secret not just to viewers but also to their castmates, many of whom have trolled and even threatened Leviss and Sandoval on social media, and to some degree, the production itself. That just isn’t supposed to happen under the watchful eyes of Bravo and Lisa Vanderpump, at her Sexy Unique Restaurant"
  8. I also think why this hits so hard/is so fascinating is that Raquel and Tom (and Tom) were kind of "cheating" on us, the viewers. It sure seems like they set up and encouraged a whole false narrative of her having a cute crush on Tom Schwartz, all while they were the actual couple.
  9. I'm watching Wednesday's episode of WWHL with Scheana and Raquel, trying to stare into Raquel's vacant soul and see what she was thinking. So weird to watch knowing that Scheana found out right after and was so so furious.
  10. I know next to nothing about the restaurant business so I truly do not understand why it's taking them so long to open. WHY?? Like genuinely I do not understand the problem. Like I know there's stuff to do like finalize a menu. But why is that taking MONTHS? Is there permits issues or something like that? Please someone explain it to me because the show is sure making it look like they're either a) incompetent, b) very dumb, c) unable to delegate responsibility or d) all of the above.
  11. The Zane storyline made me think that Brian Geragthy had been promised a bigger storyline and that one-man-writer's-room Taylor Sheridan forgot to put it in until the final episode. It was so bizarre to suddenly introduce all those characters and that storyline in the last episode. Not to mention, I could barely remember who Zane was from episode to episode! All the prostitute scenes made me think that Sheridan was a big fan of Deadwood and then learned all the wrong lessons from the show on why it worked. My husband pointed out that there was no snow in the Teyona scenes. He was like "is this in a different timeline?" Maybe? But probably they just didn't think about it! Also: Didn't Alex and Spencer see her jilted fiance at the end of the last episode? But everyone was acting as if they were talking and interacting for the first time on the ship? Did they just stare at each other and say nothing? All I kept thinking as I watched is that this is a bizarre show. The pacing is almost avant garde in how it refuses to adhere to any kind of traditional storytelling structure. Characters don't seem to always remember what just happened and plot just... happens. It's all circumstance but no rising action. It's like a tone poem of beautiful landscapes, attractive people, pointless suffering, and sudden long speeches where a character seems to explain themselves but explains nothing.
  12. Maybeee. But as someone who had a Western-style wedding (not Christian though), we had a coordinator/wedding planner who put this on the agenda! Like that was part of their job! 3PM - Ceremony. 4PM - Sign Marriage Certificate. Maybe it's a reality show thing. Tom and Katie on Vanderpump Rules had some problem where they had never signed the certificate or mailed it in or something. If so, Bravo, help these people get legally married!
  13. Great! But sign it on the day! It's not that hard haha.
  14. Beautiful wedding! So many events! I am now nervous for all the pressure on them to have kids! (A lot of that pressure from themselves too of course) I really hope it all works out. But what is it with these people not signing their marriage certificates?! I really like O'Malley and Bali together! I hope they make it work! Also I could barely watch the tension with the Aunties. So so awkwarddddd. Here's them on WWHL:
  15. It's really a bummer because he's so so lame and she should never be thinking about him again. Respect yourself, Ciara!
  16. It is but only Katie doesn't know haha. She seemed genuinely so so pissed and I don't believe she's a good enough actress to fake that.
  17. YES. It's hard and I feel for him but he can't/won't see how he's lashing out at the wrong people. I heard a podcast interview with him and Amrit, recorded before the most recent episode (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/family-karma-kast/id1501619461) and he's very defensive of his parents. He cannot criticize them. Which fine, but... they're who he needs to scold and remind "this is a real wedding." Nicholas was brought up in an environment where he believed being gay was Wrong and he still sees that everywhere. That's very sad and obviously painful BUT that has nothing to do with Amrit's parents! I think he resents that they are so accepting and his parents aren't. I was very impressed with how Suresh in particular handled the conversation and how Lavina said she doesn't want to walk on eggshells around him. It felt like they hadn't ever actually talked about the car scene and Nicholas had been stewing on that for a while. If so, good for it to be addressed before the wedding! But... sigh. It was exhausting and frustrating to watch. Suresh and Lavina really do love him and I think they sense that he was misdirecting his anger and were sensitive to it. But I felt very annoyed on their behalf!
  18. I find Raquel charming too. Even though she's very dim, she seems so genuinely sweet. Ariana and Scheana seem so sweet and big sister-like with her. Also Raquel always has a tinge of sadness about her I can't quite place.
  19. Oh huh I guess we haven't. He's obviously a real person who wrote a book and seems to be a public figure, but maybe the Rhys who he sees at the parties is a figment of his imagination. Could be!
  20. Ah! I just watched the next episode preview (up on Bravo's website) and Also
  21. I get kind of bad vibes from Paul. I'm nervous for Dolores! Also... I know this isn't news, but Teresa is just so dim and looks bizarre in her confessionals. On the other hand, Melissa and Joe come off as unhinged and obsessed. This is a case of ESH as they say on the AITA forums (aka Everyone Sucks Here).
  22. New trailer for Part 2: https://www.vulture.com/article/you-season-four-trailer-release-date-cast.html Looks like Joe will be forced to reconcile what he's actually done (kill and kill and kill) with what he thinks of himself as (a nice guy!)
  23. I feel sad for Isaac. I'm sure he ends up doing a lot of child care.
  24. Why are Carl and Lindsay there??? (I know, for money, I know) But seriously, they're such a bummer and Carl seems like Stepford Boyfriend and they're so weird and off-putting. I've been around couples like them and it's exhausting and ANNOYING.
  25. Thoughts on the most recent episode that we finally watched last night: - All that build-up and no shark fight?! Booo! I wonder if it got cut or they ran out of SFX money for the shark attack - Spencer and Alex better get to freaking Yellowstone next episode! But I know they probably won't get there until the finale at this point. It wouldn't bother me if it was a longer season but there's only supposed to be 8 episodes! Why are we moving so slow?! - I really wanted Cara to point out to Jacob that if there wasn't cities, they'd be no market for the cattle that he keeps. - prequel problems - We know the Duttons keep the ranch because present day Duttons have it. So. That makes things less tense imo. - I missed my mustache twirling villain who doesn't actually have a mustache. Bring back Timothy Dalton! I want to see him and Harrison meet! Forget this lovey dovey stuff I want to see two old men face off! (I really do!) - I keep forgetting the Sherriff is Robert Patrick and everytime I remember, it amuses me a lot. - I find Jack and Elizabeth so so boring. And did her mom die or just drive off East? She said last episode she was an orphan, but I don't remember her mom dying? I know it's just the nature of tv shows but she looks so anachronistic to me, more so than Alex. I'm ready for one of them to become evil or die tragically. - The timeline on this show is very confusing. This is the problem with a single writer working without a writer's room. It wouldn't bother me normally Except that they keep referring to "time running out". When? Why? NEED MORE CONTEXT! - My husband and I are kind of viewing the show mostly as camp at this point but it's fun for us to laugh at it together!
