  1. Wasn't expecting Jessica to show up and be Amanda's cousin, and she brought mac and cheese. But it makes sense, somebody had to introduce Daniel and Amanda since Daniel didn't know about Amanda's past. Who better than a former friend who also knew Miyagi?
  2. If not for Kreese breaking out, that would have been the perfect series finale. Demetri finally kicked Kyler's ass. Truly everybody Kyler has bullied has kicked his ass. And his insult of Eli had no impact on Eli, because Eli has learned that you do lose in life and you can move beyond it. Stingray got some redemption. Of course Daniel ended Silver with the crane. He had to do it, the final strike against Silver and Cobra Kai is the one that began Cobra Kai's downfall. And my goodness, that fight was a squash. Silver got his ass beat, good.
  3. "So do us all a favor, and give her the staff and go." Shade just straight up killed Sylvester with his words. Shade likes Pat and the kids, he can't stand Sylvester. And there is something massively sus about Sylvester. I feel like having Shade just go off on him like that adds more to him not being right. The Crocks had nothing to do with the murder, but they're afraid of the JSA finding out that they hired the gang for Artemis's audition. Speaking of the Crocks, we need more Paula and Barb friendship scenes.
  4. Yeah, I've had it stuck in my head since the episode. Not complaining, there are far worse songs to be stuck in your head than one from Neil Diamond. I think them being over the top is one of the reasons I like them. They've been evil but they're so over the top and fun, and they're good parents to Artemis. Also, they really want to be friends with Pat and Barb. They have more fun with Pat and Barb than they did with their ISA buddies.
  5. Yeah, she was great. Wish she would have been a recurring character who would help Team Flash from time to time. Season 1 was the fun summer show, season 2 was a horror show, and season 3 is a who can you trust murder mystery (unfortunately with no Mabel, Oliver, and Charles in sight). I like that they're changing it up this early into the show's run. All the Crocks continue to be entertaining. I still want a scene where the Crocks, Pat, Barb, Courtney, Mike, Yolanda, Beth, Rick, and Cindy are cheering on Artemis during a football game. I will never object to Neil Diamond being used.
  6. They introduced a Paul Rudd character, only to immediately kill him off? You gotta be fucking kidding me. In all seriousness, there better be flashbacks of Rudd next season. Rudd in this show acting opposite the main 3 would be fantastic. I agree with Oliver's assessment about Lester. Hell, all the other residents were great. They better get those cakes that were promised to them.
  7. "Well shit." Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Given Alice's past is a mystery (wasn't buying what she said during Son of Sam), the Not OK in Oklahoma puzzle piece, and her having the Son of Sam card, I thought she was gonna be Becky. Why did Becky change her name, move to New York, and stick with Cinda? Why is she so afraid of Cinda, if Cinda's been covering for her? Is Poppy spewing bullshit?
  8. The blimp? Maybe Nina is just secretly a really big fan of steampunk, and wants her own airship. I got nothing. As for the shoulder, maybe Kreps hurt it while forcing open the door. Even if he isn't Glitter Guy, or connected to Bunny's murder, he's still a piece of shit after the shit he was saying to Mabel. The sneezing's a red herring. It's a secret corridor with a lot of cobwebs and dust, people will sneeze. It's not Howard's new boyfriend.
  9. So the Schuyler sister was Peggy, right? Martin Short sealed another Emmy nomination with that perjury conversation, and then mouthing "I don't." And it wouldn't have been perjury, since neither were under oath.
  10. Access to a weapon is easier than paying rent? That's realistic. Zod, I was dying at "You're too stupid to commit the murder."
  11. Suspicious, but not the killer. It was a stylistic choice. Oliver in his element, and it was the Son of Sam game. With Mabel reacting, that's key. The more we could get of these 3 together, the merrier. SNL, let all 3 host an episode.
  12. I think it works for Thor, because Thor uses his humor as a coping mechanism. Like the conversation with Star Lord, where Star Lord told Thor to "feel shitty." Thor never wanted to feel that, so he upped the jokes. And while with the Guardians he had a crisis of self, he loved Jane and that was gone. For the first time, he had to face that the woman he loved broke up with him. Ragnarok happened right after their break up, so he didn't have time to work through everything before Odin dies, Hela came back, and Ragnarok happens. And right after that, you saw Thanos murder half of the Asguardians, including his best friend in Heimdall, and his brother Loki. He doesn't even have time to grieve that before he goes right after Thanos to kill him. He wasn't able to stop the snap, and locked himself away in New Asgard, not caring what happened after. But with the Guardians, Thor actually faced all of that head on, and he questioned his place in life. He upped the jokes to deal with everything. When told about Jane's cancer, he doesn't make a joke. Thor also doesn't want to face losing Jane again, permanently. Humor is a way for Thor to cope with everything. A big thing in Phase 4 so far has been grief, and how people process it. Also, they realized that Hemsworth is a comedic genius, and they've gotta take advantage of that.
  13. I think he knew the right things to say to the kids. While they were scared in the cage, he told them they were the bravest he's ever known. And then when some pointed out they weren't Asgardian before the final, he made sure to reassure them. I can understand why they went jokey with the trailer. If they showed serious moments, that would give away what's gonna happen to Jane in the trailer.
  14. I loved it. All the actors did a fantastic job. Amazing what giving Natalie Portman something to do outside of being Thor's love interest can do for her performance. Who would have thunk it? Nice contrast between the Gods that Gorr was killing, and the ones kicking it with Zeus. The Gods that Gorr was killing were the Gods that helped their people, the ones that fought and died alongside their people. The ones with Zeus were content to just hide out and be safe, not giving a shit about their followers. Thor even mentioned the giant one whose body we saw, and who Sif fought alongside, was one of the nicest Gods there was. Thor giving the Asgardian kids a pep talk, granting them the powers of Thor, and they and him doing battle with Gorr and his shadow demons all set to "November Rain" was top notch music use. And of course after all that, Gorr would want Thor to look after his daughter. He saw that Thor was a God that cared about his followers, would share his power, and fought alongside them. Like Korg said, Thor fights the good fight for those who can't fight well.
  15. All the family would know is that at the most stressful time, Aisha left. That would cause resentment in generations, seeing the toll it would take on Hasan and Sana. None of them knew that Aisha died to protect her family, and made sure to bring Kamala back in time to get her husband and daughter to safety. Hasan and Sana may not have said anything disparaging about her, but the rest of the family would think they were just coping and couldn't face the truth. Yes they are.
  16. They don't need to tell Perry, Perry knows Clark is Superman. He's like Gordon with Batman, he knows who he really is but acts like he doesn't. Not a fan at all of them retconning this show to not be part of the Beeboverse. But I was a fan of them nailing what Superman is, when told he could die against Ally he didn't care and said it was a chance he had to take, and Tal admitted that Clark inspired him to do better. That's who Superman is, that's what makes him the ultimate hero.
  17. We're getting Killer Frost. No way is that the end, and in no way does the plan go well for Caitlin.
  18. Well, that was dark and true. The show built on the middle class, admitting the life of the Simpsons isn't attainable anymore. That said, don't worry, I'm sure trickle down will work after the 759th attempt.
  19. After the most recent news, I was surprised that there was no mention of ERCOT in Texas.
  20. Yeah, I'm tapping out after this season. The supporting characters like Murray's friends, the JTP, and Mr Glascott are all good, but that's it. They should do what The Simpsons has done, which has breathed new life into it, a lot of episodes now focus on a supporting character in Springfield.
  21. Wait, did my ears deceive me or did they actually get the rights to "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica? How much did that cost?
  22. Get rich quick schemes, owing a lot of people money, and them not wanting Will to know? He was a con artist, and they and G all had something to do with him leaving. They did it to protect Will. Good to see that Carlton and Will are on good ground. When Phil said he'd do anything to protect his kids, that hit for Carlton, that started to take away his hatred for Will and Lisa being together. Then Vy mentions to Carlton about Will bragging about Carlton being top of the school. At that point Carlton was coming around, then you add in Vy saying Will always wanted a brother, and seeing the fight between Vy and Viv, and Carlton just let all that hatred go. And Will got to hear why Carlton was the way he was, and he sympathized with it. It wasn't what Will did, that was just as Will said "The straw that broke the camel's back." Carlton always had to be perfect for everybody, he wasn't able to make a mistake. That's a lot of pressure to put on somebody.
  23. Gotta mention a moment from this episode. The AI knew that Ingrid was faking being uploaded. She's paying tons to keep that private, nobody knows, but the AI figures it out. In season 1, the AI wasn't able to pick a picture of a cat, but is smart enough to know that Ingrid is pretending. The AI is evolving, getting smarter and more human. The hug from Tinsley earlier in the season was the flashpoint for it.
  24. I'm still thinking his code somehow unlocks download. It was brought back up this season, so it's been just hiding in plain sight. Nathan figured out a way to successfully download somebody, and didn't realize it.
