  1. Yep. I've been wanting them as the big bads for a season for a long time. They're a great fun change of pace from other villains. They do have a lot of power, but they don't want to take over or end the world, they just really want to steal shit. They'll work with Flash if it's beneficial for them, and Flash will work with them because their goals are just those of thieves.
  2. That was a lot of fun. Why oh why did it take till the final season to get a long arc of the Rogues? The Rogues are fun, at least one season should have had them as a main focus instead of a world ending threat. Maybe season 6, or season 7 till Godspeed showed up. The heist music for Barry and Team Rogues Flash was pure 80s, and I loved it. Was not expecting Ryan.
  3. I could be wrong but I think for most of it's run Mientus has been doing theatre work including Broadway. A full time gig on Broadway wouldn't allow much time to join The Flash and inject more fun into it than most of the new characters that have shown up. Season 9 of The Flash, the final season finally features an episode where Barry learns that you have to let people go, a lesson he learned in season 3.
  4. Who wants Hedlund, Wilde, and Murphy back when you can have Jared Leto? And who would want the director of Tron: Legacy to return, who's also been trying to get Tron 3 made for years? It's not like Kosinski just directed one of the biggest movies ever, and has worked with Tom Cruise multiple times, and could have possibly gotten Cruise to cameo (especially with Cruise becoming primarily a sci-fi and action guy the last decade or so). Best to go with the guy who did Pirates 5. Disney was handed an easy W with a 3rd Tron, but they've apparently decided they want to go the massive L way.
  5. CEO Waymond: "In another life, I would have really liked just doing laundry and taxes with you."
  6. My Zod, the visuals in this episode were incredible. Not a knock on any other episode, it's this episode was got-dang gorgeous. Fantasy epic film gorgeous. The shots of Elora and Willow training, Kit and Jade training shadows, Kenneth, and really everything. Graydon's gonna be the one to be able to use the Cuirass. He doubts himself for "killing" his brother, he's becoming a sorcerer, he put Kenneth's needs first. He's gonna be the one that's deemed worthy of it.
  7. Christian Slater was having a blast as Chloe Allagash's brave little man. Too bad it looks like he won't return. I'm guessing the liquid "evil" was messing with the group somehow. Airk, don't let her out. Keep her in the cell, because I'm guessing she's a manifestation of The Crone. Don't fall for it, dude.
  8. Have you seen the shape that Nebraska's program is in? Not that unbelievable they'd recruit her.
  9. They also high-fived when Pat dug himself out of the grave, and when Barb shot Jordan. I'd like to think if Artemis did go to Nebraska, there were regular trips from the JSA to her games to support her. I'm talking Pat, Barb, Court, Mike, Yolanda, Rick, Beth, Beth's parents (they seem like they would join to support a friend of their daughter and Rick), Cindy, Jakeem, Sylvester (when they got his brain back) and Cameron just loading up cars or RVs and heading to Lincoln to support her. Shade, Grundy, and Shade's "charges" stay in Blue Valley in case something goes wrong. Also Shade is aghast at the tea in Lincoln, and is disappointed that it's not soccer.
  10. I hate that this show got canceled. Come on, let it get another season on HBO Max. Was worried about no Artemis or Shade, then Artemis shows up to kill Jordan, and Shade's giving tours for the JSA Museum. Artemis and Cindy became full fledged members of the JSA, what they wanted, freaking awesome. The Shade became a member of the JSA as well, and Jay even likes him. Grundy even became a member, I bet there were so many apples ate. That was a more than satisfying time skip.
  11. I knew Sylvester was sus! I didn't see it coming that he was actually Ultra-Humanite, and that Dragon King was in Ultra-Humanite's body. It makes sense for Sylvester to be Ultra-Humanite, though. He's gotta split up the new JSA, they did something nobody else did, they beat the ISA. And Shade could see through it all, he wanted Sylvester gone from the beginning. Should have listened to Shade. Pat's buried in the woods? There's somebody else buried in the woods that we've been waiting to return. It's time for Grundy to rise and save Pat. Loved Cindy protecting Jakeem and Mike. She's truly changed, and should be in the JSA.
  12. Best damn Disney+ Star Wars show, no offense to Mandalorian. This was the show people looked forward to the least, and damn, it's the best. Love that Maarva's reckoning "speech" to the Imperial troops earlier in the season came true in this episode. When the funeral music began the Empire couldn't see them, and were panicked, but when it stopped that's really when the Empire should have been afraid. That was the people of Ferrix basically taking a breath to gather themselves, and come to peace with what might happen. They were ready to die fighting the Empire, and the pause was them gathering themselves for that moment. And there was the terror on Dedra's face, it's not just because she was almost lynched, it's because her worst fear was coming true. She had been sounding the alarm about the Rebellion being united, but in that moment she realized that even she underestimated the Rebellion. The people of Ferrix did this without blasters, without help from the Rebellion, they did this all with rocks and blunt weapons, with the exception of one bomb. It entered her mind that the Empire's time may be numbered. It's not a spark of Rebellion anymore, it's a full on five alarm fire in the entire galaxy, and it's gonna be a raging inferno before long. She realized the Empire may be woefully outmatched. And I think Luthen realized that as well. A lot of people will die, but he realized in Maarva's speech, that the Rebellion is bigger than even he thought. This show was just proving Leia's quote in A New Hope, "The more you tighten your grip, the more star systems will slip through your fingers." The Empire kept tightening their grip, and all they did was create more Rebels.
  13. I hate Jordan. Cameron saying the Crocks and Cindy weren't held accountable is bullshit. The Crocks went to jail, granted they got out, but they did go to jail for what they did. And Cindy is just a kid whose father experimented on her, her whole life. Your dad was a grown ass man, there's no comparison to Cindy. And both the Crocks and Cindy helped to defeat Eclypso, granted Cindy freed him, but that goes back to the shit that Dragon King put her through, and she was banished to the Shadow Land for it. Sylvester was killed by Jordan, so I can understand his anger, but no need to talk crap on the new JSA. Icicle and the ISA wiped out the old JSA, but they couldn't defeat the new JSA. Hell, the new JSA made allies out of the Crocks and Shade. On the flip side for good people, Pat and Barb continue to be the best damn parents. Barb's anger at Jordan that she didn't even try to hide for him killing the Crocks. And then there was her comforting Artemis, and telling her to come back to the Whitmore-Dugans' house. Pat and Barb will look after the new JSA, and be there for them. I'm hoping that preview for the next episode is right when it said "One more episode till the season finale", and it's gonna be on HBO Max.
  14. Because they're not trying to avenge him. The Gambler wanted to make amends with people he had wronged. The Crocks loved being friends with Pat and Barb, and wanted to be heroes. The Shade? Well, he likes the new JSA and likes working with them. Nobody gives a shit about Jordan's death, they didn't like him. He's a petty asshole.
  15. I hate Jordan. I was thinking, maybe he'll leave them frozen and Cindy would be able to save them. Like her dad found a way to save somebody if they've been frozen, as a precaution. That got shot down when that douchenozzle blasted the Crocks into dust. Artemis finishes out the school year living with the Whitmore-Dugans and Yolanda? I liked Courtney taking the blame for Jordan's death to protect Mike. Cameron right now won't do shit to Court, and she can defend herself, but he might go after Mike. Court did the right thing, and also in explaining that his dad was (still is) a douchenozzle. The guy killed a lot of people, including Joey. I really hate Jordan.
  16. Maybe, or she was tailing them since this was a big episode for her parents and their relationship with Pat and Barb. Pat no doubt telling Crusher about Mike's mom, Crusher was sincere that Pat could trust him. And then you had Paula being shocked that Barb said she was a friend. Could see both mentioning how close they've gotten to Pat and Barb, and Artemis going even harder on becoming a member of the JSA. Still sus of Sylvester, he was the one that told Rick about removing the inhibitor. He's being controlled by somebody. And speaking of Rick, dude needs to learn how to fight. He relies way too much on brute force, but doesn't know how to fight. He got his ass beat by Artemis (who knows how to fight), and Cam (who he should have stomped).
  17. I'm not opposed to somebody else putting on the mask, and becoming the new "The Shape", but you gotta build it. Don't introduce somebody, have them go through the process to become the new Michael in 1 got dang hour. And this wasn't just the first time we met Corey, it was also the first time Allyson met him, and she immediately was in love with him, willing to ignore Laurie and the warning signs that Corey might have some things in common with Michael. You introduce Corey in the 2018 one, you let us get to know him, see his progression, see he and Allyson's relationship, and then have him become Michael? That would have been fine. The 2018 movie and Kills all took place in one night. There was a shitload that Michael survived and just brushed off in those two movies. There were hints that Michael was becoming the Boogieman, he was becoming something more, and Laurie understood it. But, all that was for nothing, Michael's just an ordinary guy, and he got his ass kicked by Corey. Now for the good. The opening was good, I'll give them that. And everything from Laurie vs Michael till the end was good.
  18. Good god, Dennis Bukowski. Segara was channeling Adrian Chase with the look on his face during that. He was playing that Pug just wanted to beat the crap out of all of them. That's for Matt Murdock. I loved this show. I think I might rank it 2nd behind Hawkeye when it comes to the Disney+ MCU shows. It was so much fun. Tatiana Masley smashed it. I liked the Jen, Nikki, and Pug friendship, they didn't try to shoehorn a romance. Matt and Emil were great, and Emil was serious about changing. Give us season 2, soon.
  19. Sylvester's still sus to me. Everything got wrapped up too nicely, not completely trusting him. Cindy was right to tear into the JSA. Yolanda and Rick went immediately into "Kill Cindy" mode, and never once asked her why she had the laptop. And Courtney wants everybody to be honest, while hiding she's teaching Icicle's son to control his powers. All that the JSA needed to do was go to Cindy and say "We know you have the laptop. Why do you have it", and boom, it's done. Cindy could show that she's looking for answers as to what her shitbrain father did to her.
  20. Real smart, Sylvester, just attack the Crocks in public. Congrats, you made Blue Valley a food desert for awhile. Barb and Paula are on their way to becoming best friends. Barb showed up to Paula's speech, and Paula dealt with Barb's asshole coworker. I love how the Crocks just want to be legit friends with the Whitmore-Dugans. Nice to see that after Sylvester called Cindy a demon spawn, Courtney told her she was on the team. Granted it was warning her not to go behind the team's back, but still nice.
  21. I wouldn't say Kata is a magical move, it's the basis of Miyagi-Do. It's all about being balanced, taking a moment to just breathe and do that to center yourself. It's why Terry ran it down at every turn, and was freaking out when Daniel did it. Daniel doing it helps him regain his balance, he's no longer confused or off his game. Terry's always wanted to play mind games with Daniel and his students in this show. Because he knows a balanced Daniel can whoop Cobra Kai's ass, whether it's fighting them or training his students. He had to cheat last season and this season, because he knows deep down that he can't beat Daniel, and he certainly can't beat Daniel and Johnny and Chozen.
  22. It's been bugging me since seeing the episode on Friday, and I had to look it up. The painting that Mike has is The Storm on the Sea of Galilee which was stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. So, that's another reason to lock Terry up and Mike better not try to sell it.
  23. Kreese would be lucky to have Daniel's cousin as a lawyer. He proved the innocence of 2 utes in Alabama.
  24. Well Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory, Demetri, and Eli/Hawk are the perfect casting for a Power Ranger team. And Power Rangers is Netflix now. I'm just saying, Power Rangers and Cobra Kai crossover.
