  1. Can you turn a corner faster by drifting than with conventional driving methods? Can you drift into a parallel parking space without hitting the adjacent cars or the curb? Well that was pretty lame. Less myth and more "can average drivers do these things with little practice?" Aaaaand the season's over. 6 shows a season, dumped on Saturday night, doesn't bode well for the show.
  2. Can a car be changed into a motorcycle? Can a bicycle be modified to operate on both land and water? I liked seeing the first attempt to make the motorcycle. In recent seasons that would have never been shown, just them going to the pictures and making that (which they did also). That bicycle would be impractical for anybody to really ride to work on, but would be fun say at a water park where you can get wet.
  3. Can you easily carry and deploy a large variety of weapons, as in Doom? Can you easily slice through large amounts of thrown fruit, as in Fruit Ninja? I've never really thought video games always had realistic physics, that would seem to take a lot of the potential fun out them. The episode was really light on "builds" and actual science stuff, oh well.
  4. Can you build a propane-powered log cannon to shoot planks at enemies? Can you safely disable a pursuing car by blasting a manhole cover upward into it? I liked it when they were doing the ad-hoc build on site at the lumber yard. I used to like Junkyard Wars years ago, kind of a cleaner version of that.
  5. The scale model test for the cherry bomb didn't really reflect what actually happened with the real setup.
  6. I know there is a card game called that, but have never played it. So the episode fell flat for me, oh well.
  7. At least Barbara's handwritten note had a properly formed cursive capital letter Z. Color me impressed, prop department!
  8. Policeman: We can't help you ma'am. That would take a professional hair remover. Or a forest ranger.
  9. Like that guy, I always thought "working for the weekend" meant "working to get to the weekend". That you only slog through a job to get to do what you want on your weekend days off. Uh oh I hear Eddie Murphy!
  10. I think Mary set a record for "longest distance pop-in" on Crane.
  11. It's the same today as it was 200 years ago: when a woman churns butter for you she wants you!
  12. I did like the random Cookie Monster running the bank (and motorboating the strippers) but otherwise meh.
  13. And I'm out. Saves me an hour each week not trying to follow this one.
  14. Balloons do not work that way! That size of a balloon could maybe lift 10-15 pounds. Of course being in Gotham maybe it was an early BatBalloon ...
  15. Amy and Boyle wearing the same outfit. And he looked better in it.
  16. I enjoyed it also. But I could have lived without the car wash scene, but I guess it made a good promo spot.
  17. The bad twin was brought out by the old song. But what woke up the good one after? The good one walked out after the kidnapping but I missed the trigger for her.
  18. I got a "politically correct" vibe when they showcased "Verb:That's What's Happening" the last thing.
  19. The cover(s) of Entertainment Weekly are all on the Family Guy crossover. Several page article, pretty well done.
  20. I'm guessing they figure since Kari + big breasts = more tip money then Kari + Big breasts = better ratings (attraction episode)
  21. Have you ever watched Freeman's Mind? I think it was started about 7 years ago and ran for 7 years. Not sure if they ever finished but it was great. https://www.machinima.com/shows/freemans-mind "You never hear Gordon Freeman talk in Half-Life. Now hear his inner thoughts! Follow the thoughts of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a 27-year-old physicist and neurotic individual. "
