  1. But that was Robert’s model ship, wasn’t it? I mean, I’d love it if it were him.
  2. I don't think he was. Ollie's behavior was shitty on multiple fronts before the island, but how Thea thought of him, and the fact that Tommy went looking for him three years down the line always told me that there was something more there even pre-island. Plus, the fact that he covered for Yao Fei and was tortured for it extremely early on indicated that it wadn't just the effects of his experiences on the island unless washing up there was an instant reboot to a part of his system. If Tommy had lived, he and Felicity may have developed a friendship, but I do thibk they are complete opposites in many ways. Tommy was always adrift, lost and in stuck in the same place a lot of the time. Felicity is like a bull, she pushes forward whether it's to her benefit or detriment. She's the opposite of standing still.
  3. I am leaning toward Josh Segarra, but I really like someone's suggestion of Jamie Sheridan.
  4. Oh, that one I really liked, which was unexpected.
  5. I'm not reading it, but the things you mention seem common in Olicity freinds to lovers type fics in my experience
  6. They actually gained some ground. It’s not as bad as when I went to sleep.
  7. I cast some votes while zoning out before an episode of LoT.
  8. How can you see the number of votes? I only see percentages after casting a vote and those do not look good.
  9. G is for Gadgets and Gimmicks by smoakmonster. It's a coffee shop/bookshop AU that doesn't really seem necessary when you put it like that. But it's cheerful and bubbly, yet adult at the same time. Oliver and Felicity aren't turned into caricatures of themselves. The two chapters simply left me feeling warm. I also really like her writing. The dialogue gets them and she doesn't meander even when Felicity's thoughts do. It's crisp and lively.
  10. ? But in all honesty, I didn’t truly expect we’d win this round either and when Oliver and Felicity held at more than 49% for a good while, I was ready to accept that as being a more than good enough showing. And then, boom. So I’m not discounting them yet.
  11. They’re currently at 50.7% and I really hope they hold. Meanwhile, mulder and Scully are getting trampled. The other couple has 63% of the vote. I’m not surprised that a Turkish series has a lot of fans, I’m just surprised so many of them care about eonline,
  12. It was kind of insane looking, especially in the middle of shooting a season. Really, if this was a year ago, I'd suspect there was a time jump and Chase kept Oliver captive for a few months.
  13. You know, if one of the n00bs had died or was badly and permanently injured on the island, that would actually make their current resentment towards Oliver and OTA understandable.
  14. I can’t judge Zoom, but in my eyes Malcolm’s reveal tops Chases. When the Dark Archer took off his mask, I found it genuinely shocking.
  15. I really had rose colored glasses on about that. With the statements about flashbacks being used when needed and not as a crutch, and knowing Felicity and Diggle centric episodes were coming up, I was so sure they would use those occasions to flashback to the island. Come on, Diggle featured his problem which originated on the island, and a part of Felicit’s episode was her and Oliver going forward with their relationship. How does that not make for a logical either contrast or parallel with their reunion on the island?! Considering Samantha’s death and Thea’s almost death that were featured in the premiere, maybe this not being shown was actually a blessing in disguise.
  16. My first thought was, hey, next generation Disney feature? My second, wait, it seems like some key pieces are missing from the article. One, I don’t really get that Thomas was bisexual from the article itself. Henry, yes. But if Thomas was, there are steps missing here. Also, what did he do after Henry passed, just abandoned everyone? Not really cool, dude.
  17. This crossed my mind briefly, but then I realized that I actually disliked the dialogue and most of the acting choices left me cold, so I was glad it was wrapped up quickly. Speaking of Vince, not that I think BS is justified in killing him, but is he really the first person she should atone for? Setting aside him coming after the team, he was also extremely blase about endangering, hurting and possibly killing civilians in hunting down criminals and Oliver. Normal people who got killed when they were just going about their lives should take priority here in my book.
  18. Sure, but what's to make the villains they remained split since there's been at least two occasions when all the fighters gathered together in the field - rounding up the villains, and that fight where Vince killed CJ's accomplice whose name constantly escapes me, and more importantly featured Felicity narrating over the fighting. For appearances sake, the team doesn't seem that split from the outside.
  19. Plus, there's the fact that he falls further and further down the social ladder with each generation. He gets smarter, yet his overall efforts result in bringing him ever lower.
  20. I think it's because it's so unabashedly silly. I watched the SC 2046 episode and realized that's actually the one LoT episode I have seen in full before. My impressions haven't changed. SA is great as old man Oliver, though the make up sucks and makes him look closer to 80 that very early 60s he'll be at that point. I still really like JJ/Connor. Does he ever show up again or does the team stick to going to the past? Wentworth Miller is beautiful, but I'm still annoyed by his inflections as Snart. That side plot about Ray/Kendra/Jax is still lame with Martin as the best part of it. Too bad Oliver doesn't know about Grant Wilson in the present. I wonder what his reaction would be to the reveal of Joe Wilson being a villain. Oh my God, Slade, another one? How much more are out there so we can book them accomodation with ARGUS?
  21. I think I'd respect Rene more at this point if he turned out to be genuinely evil and in cahoots with DDDragon. So he first set off the split and has been fanning the flames ever since. It would sure make his actions more sensical, plus there would be the added benefit of how Dick knows about the team split in the first place, since they do still show up in the field together just like in the last episode. That would leave Dinah being a hypocrite and Curtis an idiot, which I feel are both in keeping with their characters. And then there's the big reveal that Zoe is the puppet master. That girl certainly seems more capable than these three idiots or Dick.
  22. Right. And then you may get fined for indecent exposure.
  23. I don’t know. There’s the nasty case of motion sickness.
  24. That was a fun walk down memory lane. Those two episodes will forever be among my personal favorites. Maybe he penetrates just fine. ? It also reminded me of this fine piece of art. I’m not sure who it’s by, I just found it on Pinterest now.
