Thanks. I saw Boss Baby, which I hated, and Ferdinand, which I thought was good, but nowhere near Coco.

I have no idea what the other nominees are, but it sure deserves one for best animated feature IMO.

Oh, man. And I’m just rewatching MASH on TV. Seeing this topic pop up in the activity feed just made me go, oh, that’s a happy coincidence. Apparently, not so happy. Charles was such a great character. The ultimate snob, while also capable of tremendous compasion.

If Rene is being moves to a hospital in another city, is anyone on NTa going to remember Zoey? That poor kid is alone all the time and I have no idea how Rene is providing for her. I’m guessing she started working on paperwork to get herself emancipated within the first week she’s been back with him. It’s ridiculous.

1. I actually thought he said, "Karma, bitch," and wanted to slap him hard for it. 2. By not being successful vigilantes? Mission accomplished. Congrats.

I did notice that and thought it was extremely stupid ruining what have to be limited resources like that, and disrespecting Curtis' work. I thought this new team was all about respect and inclusion, yo. Don't tell me I was wrong!

There were definitely four in my book. Lance belongs on that list as well. While not fighting OTA, he, deputy mayor, completely disregarded the best interests of the city to play out Misery.

I’m waiting for RG defending the n00bs since that photo of him at some media outlet or another came out yesterday.

Ah, Roy’s story starts next week. You have a point then.

I don’t know. I feel like knowing what was coming kept my levels of annoyance down this episode. Without it, I’d likely Hulk smash.

There was one positive thing to happen in this episode and that was finding out that the team's unofficial doctor has survived Cayden's attack. That's excellent news. As for everything else, I wouldn't be surprised if a good part of this season was actually revealed to be the ramblings of a crazy person locked up in psych ward. After all there are so many to choose from. The n00bs, Quentin and Thea is certainly making admirable attempts to join that club. Really, there are so many batshit crazy reasonings here that it would be exhausting to hear them all. Let me just say that I'm so broken up about Rene's condition. After all, all he tried to do was give Oliver a high five with an axe through his head. Jeez, Oliver. Chill, you maniac.

Has Dinah always been crosseyed or does that just happen when she’s channeling her anger. She’s annoying as hell and needs to be taken down at least 200 pegs. I am absolutely shocked that Tweedledee and Tweedledum are showing some semblance of brain activity and caring for the city. Have they added fibre to their diet?

Because of the way they're not using Oliver's office as a chance to meet other people, I don't think him still being in charge of QC would help much either. Really, being the mayor should open him up for various interactions just as much, if not more. There's his staff, council people, constituents, other public servants. There's thing to be mined here, if only there is the will to do it. Instead, when these people do show up, they're barely more than extras. I mean, since DDDragon apperently now has most public officials in his pocket, including the new police chief, maybe something could happen on that front, but I'm not holding my breath.

@insomniadreams88, kudos on powering through that. I noped out as soon as I sawhow long the article was.

I can’t speak for other viewers, but that’s how I watch it. I may have fun while the episode is akrint, but I’m not invested and won’t bemoan if I miss something. Like, the season 2 premiere was amusing, but I wasn’t left with the feeling of oh, my God, what’s going to happen next, how is the season gonna go? I’m not saying that’s wong, just that LoT is a light, frothy show.
-
One of the n00bs? On the one hand, one less of them. On the other, I don’t want Oliver doing anything because he feels like he owes them.
-
I haven’t watched The Wire, so I’m trying to find some commonalities in that description. Oliver gets his ducks in order, but then it all falls apart? He gets someone endangered?
-
Did you figure out the Kevin Hart link? Because I honestly don't get it. Does he tweet about Arrow? I love how there are literally two other likes for that tweet.

Writers on both Arrow and LoT have made some questionable choices (IMO) in writing the Lance family romantic entanglements. I just saw the season 2 premiere, and Sara gets it on with the queen of France after she remembers losing Laurel, the queen making a jackass comment about "such a beautiful lady shouldn't be so sad", and this apparently makes her hot, Sara smirks and it's off to the races. Huh? It didn't even read as her trying not to think about the pain of losing her sister. It was like two separate scenes being slapped together into one and not blending that well. Having finished the first season, I still don't much get the fascination with Sara/Snart, but I do get Sara/Rip. I felt like there was more to their interactions after Sara found out about Laurel's death in the finale, than to Sara and Snart in the previous episodes. Killing Savage was kind of cool, although things happening simultanously at three different times doesn't make a lick of sense to me. Also, it kind of felt like Sara drew the short end of the stick. She just strangled him, no? Meanwhile, Mick roasted him, Kendra impaled him while citing his own stalkery chant and Rip then twisted the knife. Honestly, the parts of the finale I liked best were Ray showing up as the get away driver, and Mick's departing comment to Kendra and Carter(?) making it for 5 months. Like, I don't even know what to call that dude because he's not Carter but another incarnation. I may not have been so amused had I watched it live. But knowing that maybe somewhere out there after thousands of years these two figured out they really don't work without the threat of Savage hanging over them, just makes me break out in giggles.

Hold up, what if the actual spoiler here is Vertigo? As in Count Vertigo? Too bad the first one is dead.

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality
bijoux replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
While there definitely still is a stigma, I love that Eloisa James doesn't hide that she's actually Mary Bly, a tenured English professor teaching Shakespeare. So I guess perception is changing. -
I absolutely agree with what @Mellowyellow's teacher said. One set back is not the end. Be kind to yourself and prioritize. What is crucial at this moment and what can you achieve at a later point if you can't now?
