Too bad. I was really looking forward to the anti-hero thing. The weird thing about the wedding hints is that it's five episodes away whatever shape it takes on. I guess it could be because he was just filming it. I don't know if we brought it up, but the actress playing Cupid posted on Twitter that not everything you see on the Internet is true after those reports from set came out. I can't remember her name right now or I'd bring it over. Meaning it could be anything. It was just a dress with the Felicity tag, not specifically a wedding dress, wasn't it? What if they're guests at someone else's wedding? Maybe going there for some semi-undercover work?

Heh. Don't think so. But Nyssa probably has that same fantasy. Maybe the Nanda Parbat marriage is built on more solid ground than we are aware. Common interests, after all. In other news, Amell plans to do a video in the GA suit from the set today.

I got the impression from some posters here that they thought Oliver and the show were completely ignoring the screw up in the crossover. If I misread the posts, that's on me. I just wanted to say that I don't think that's what was going on. Now, would I rather Oliver had thought about the ramifications of his obfuscating like a sane person? Of course I would. But he is thinking about them in a convoluted Arrow logics way.

Oliver: Where do you want me?

kHeh about the last point. But yeah, what the hell are you doing taking advice in that area from Barry. You go to someone with credentials. Namely, Dig. Though to be fair, I was actually thinking Oliver was referring to something else with this happening being his fault. I only saw the crossover once so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Barry finally advise him to tell Felicity the truth, otherwise it would be messing with the timeline since she found out in the original one? So I took it as Oliver maybe interpreting that as having some sort of butterfly effect that led to the shooting and Felicity being wounded. He even scoffed at Barry's idea that the universe didn't care about what he told his girlfriend. And I guess now I read it as him possibly thinking, Oh my God! Does the universe care?!

It's one of the pics used in the pilot when the news reported he was back from the dead. This one stuck.

As well as Lance going to Darhk for intel this season and specifically mentioning six years.

I found this retweeted on my feed and thought it was awfully sweet that he commented on a part of an episode that had nothing to do with his character. When I went to his Twitter, turns out he live tweeted. He sounds really sweet and like he enjoyed both his experience and the final product. And Erik Palladino (Joyner) is the one to come up with the Little Diggle line. Which seriously cracked me up.

She brings up really interesting points. I haven't really thought about it beyond Lyla possibly taking charge and the spoilery thing about The Flash 2x14 that she mentions. I've always thought that Waller was too myopic and Lyla would probably both excel at and like the job were it not for Waller's shaky morals. As a viewer I was always more troubled about her shaky logics. But A.R.G.U.S. as a reliable ally to TGA and an asset to the Legends are very valid and thought provoking points.

I sometimes hate people and people I have to deal with at work. They're harshing my post-episode buzz.

I don't like the codename at all. But I'm glad it makes her less exposed and I'm gonna pretend it's Overlord anyhow.

And you know what else? This director steered clear of the usual style of let's cut the scene 15 seconds before we should, instead letting them breathe. It took me a while to figure out that this is something that really helped me enjoy the episode.

That would be most welcome. Though I'm sure that they wouldn't dare do it when she's back. No one is currently afflicted with a death wish. As for Laurel or anyone else having basic computer competencies, I'm with wonderwall. There's no reason why they shouldn't know the basics. Felicity's got to go to work and to the bathroom sometimes.

This. And wonder of wonders, the lesson sticks for at least some months to come according to last week's flash forward. I have a question. What happened to all the A.R.G.U.S. agents who were there when Shadowspire came guns blazing? In the end there were Oliver, Lyla, Dig and Andy fighting Joyner and his crew. Did they put them in cells somewhere or was A.R.G.U.S. in their hands for a really long time if Joyner was taking them out at 20 minutes intervals?

Roy, baby! So he's been hitting up multiple tech companies for the Calculator. And I like his and Curtis' interactions already. I don't want to hurt you. -I don't want you to hurt me either. LOL I like all of this. And Felicity will recognize him. Good, good things. Why in God's name does Oliver want a sit down with Darhk? Unless they've found something they think they can drug him with. Maybe Felicity's at work when Laurel and Dig are at the computers. A week is more than enough time for Oliver to build a ramp.
-
That's a good question. Maybe Curtis chose her outfit and that's why she was in an uncharacteristic midi skirt. Though I did notice the slit.
-
Oh, I forgot about that. 4x11 really works in his favor. I didn't walk away thinking, oh that was a good episode of S4. It was that's an excellent episode of Arrow period. Has anyone else try to catch glimpses of the Calculator in the trailer? All that I've, sadly, managed to come away with is light hair. Either grey or blondish. But the shot was nice. ETA: Oliver's totally going to let Felicity know about the cure while they're broken up. Magic herbs, anyone?

Unchained better not disappoint me, what with Amandes, Roy and A.W.O.L. firing me up! So someone needs to detonate the bomb on site. So whoever survives should be off of deathwatch, right?

It feels so good to have a villian of the week again. It allows the team to be effective instead of waiting for Darhk to figure out what he wants to do.

So I watched it again. Yes, I am that sad but the episode was honestly just so enjoyable. The opening sequence was great. Then call like a normal person. Heh. I love you, Dig. Now take Oliver and Felicity out on a double date. Oliver was so damn emotionally compromised for the better part of it. His phone message to Dig may as well have ended with a whispered I love you, the gulp during Felicity's second speech in the lair, and then watching the Diggle brothers share a moment. His face paint was probably running under his mask at that. He was also great deflecting Felicity's Hot Wheels comment. Coupled with the cute little face she makes it's a total call back to him not rising to her baiting and snipping in 4x06. I am now completely convinced that this is how they operate in situations when she is snappish. It just bounces off him and she ceases and desists. The slit in Felicity's shirt was a perfect call for some light groping during the carry. Missed opportunity. Man, whenever Felicity gets called out for being harsh on people, one should remember that she's the harshest on herself. Look what it got you, a ring side seat to the rest of your life. Yeesh. So Rubicon is bound to come up sooner or later. The only question is whether it will be this season or they will save it for the next. I'd say time is short this year, but they've now connected Oliver, the Diggles, Shadowspire, ARGUS and Darhk, so I wouldn't rule it out completely. Though I forgot to comment on it earlier, I was blown away by Lyla being willing to give the codes to save Dig. Plus, her knowing the codes really does indicate that she has top level clearing. And simultaneously confirms my belief that Waller is incompetent. Lyla's been gone for nearing a year now and the codes haven't been changed? Come on, now! Plus, Waller totally painted a target on Lyla with her "Agent Michaels is my most trusted operative". It can't have been by accident, but I'm not really sure why she did it. Yeah, I'm still not buying that he's staying there. For one, where would he stay. This is Dig's bachelor pad. Why would he have more than two bedrooms? For another, even if Dig went insane, I don't believe Lyla would be cool with Uncle Andy hanging around Sara all the time just yet. So for me the welcome is more an acknowledgement that Dig saw the brother he lost once again. Hey, we're moving up in the world. Now we got to see the eyeball as well. :D

I feel a little robbed that we didn't get Goth Felicity's commentary on Oliver. Yeah, yeah, she was a manifestation of Felicity's psyche and she had issues with herself, not with Oliver. Still, fun times could have been had.

1. Very true. 2. That guy cracks me up.

4x11 post-ep drabble by anthfan It's very short, but sweet, and funny and hot. Oliver judging Felicity's mental and physical being by her putting on her "suit" - heels and ponytail - and being turned on by it is hilarious and on point.
