The little OTA scene is wicked cute, really. Oliver knew he was making a misstep even as he asked Felicity if she had any luck, he just couldn't help himself. And then the side-eye between him and Dig after she blew up. Awesome.
-
Is the engagement party supposed to be in the next episode? Oliver's wearing a suit in the Canadian promo.
-
I wasn't talking about his grand plans to bring down SC, actually, only him showing up at PT at the end there. My gut instinct was that he was intrigued by Felicity being in charge of the company which had a crucial piece of tech for his plans, but now comments are making me wonder whether he actually turned up there to get a read on Oliver. I'm still not sure that he connected him with GA. I mean if he has, he must be a flipping genius, since no one else managed to do it on their own. Except for Moira. But then, Moira was alwayss the exception.

Because we'd e bored otherwise, don't you know? No worries, the writers know you better than you know yourself, they're looking out for you.

I want this to be true and am almost hoping for it to be true, but this show is wonky like that. Though they might go for it and the final blow to Felicity will be finding out that her dad didn't even come for her after a twenty year absence, he came for Oliver.

Whoever it is, it's a colleague, so naturally he wouldn't be thrilled. Of course Dig can't go. And you know why? If Oliver Queen always made the right choice, he wouldn't need you. And Oliver Queen has been making some pretty poor choices. Did they just make me okay with Oliver being a lying dumbass with grand plans of trading favors with a supervillain just to ensure that Dig is safe? Crap. Fine, have Oliver be a dummy, let me keep Dig. I feel cheap now.

IT'S NOT DIG! Because it can't be and I don't want it. As for Malcolm/Oliver/Nyssa, that's exactly what I'm afraid will happen. In which case I hope Nyssa is the one who chops of the arm that's missing on LoT. Sigh.

Gasp. Now I want Oliver to win that election for more reasons than letting the evil lady win.

SA started a Facebook Q&A a minute ago if anyone wants to participate.
-
You know, I'm sad now. I assume since Thea's life is at risk, her blood lust thingy will get resolved in the next episode. Meaning she won't be crucial in defeating Darhk. And I really wanted that. :( From the Q&A in progress on SA's Facebook page: It really makes it seem highly likely that it's the death in the script he mentioned yesterday. 4x13 - duel with Malcolm 4x14 - the LIE gets exposed 4x15 - Felicity gives the ring back Everything proceeding according to schedule.

I didn't mind it at all. Her brought back from the dead re-souled sister is off time travelling. Which is just one of the many examples of the screwey world they live in. Somebody able to look like Roy is actually pretty tame in comparison. Oliver actually thought she was Mei at first. The only reaction I had at "your love" thing was to think, wow, Shado. Oliver gave the hallucination you shampoo commercial hair and this is all you've got for him? Not a fair trade.

This is my biggest question: why didn't Dad recognize Oliver when he was sitting next to him? Oliver first caught Roy in his street clothes. (And, man, was I pumped during that scene.) While Roy still had the contact with the camera in. Meaning, the Calculator definitely saw Oliver. I'm just so impressed with Roy and Thea. They're still kids basically, but they are honestly just so good at loving each other. See, this is a couple I would believe could be with other people in 10 years time and happy and content with their lives, but would still see each other as the love of their life. I loved Roy for being there for Thea while giving her all the space she needed last season and she was now excellent as well. And Roy was such a nice breath of fresh air in this episode. Particularly this: Such a Roy thing to do. Cutie. Who's there left to say, "My life, my choice"? Can they just get shirts printed and be over with it? Although, I did enjoy one mention of it, and that was Malcolm Freaking Merlyn! I laughed so hard when he started going about it being Thea's life and choice, which he respected! Just like last season! Mallcolm Merlyn, father of the year. I don't mind that Nyssa wants Malcolm dead, I'm just puzzled that the woman who took issue with Oliver killing her father instead of letting her do it wouldn't want to go after Malcolm herself. Unless it's a ploy to distract him with Oliver and then deliver the final blow? I have to say I like how respectful she was with Tatsu. That was a really nice touch in a fly-by scene. Hot Wheels would actually have worked for Felicity. She's really proficient at handling the chair. Although I do wish she ran over the bastard who practically blamed her for being shot and incapacitated. I don't like you, sir, and hope you are one of the victims of the annual May attack on the city. Bastard. I know some have problems with Curtis being perfect, but I don't because he shows real affection, respect and concern for Felicity. Echo makes him come across as genuine. I had no problems with him getting a few punches in, since Roy was trying to avoid hurting him. To freak Dig out a bit, Oliver Queen doesn't know she's his wife, the Green Arrow does.

Ha! statsgirl, I didn't even catch that. Now I feel stupid.

You're right. They do seem to be rushing things. Not that they don't usually, but they seem to be rushing things that were set up to happen later on. Could it mean they've changed tracks on what they want to do and now want to get stuff out of the way before they proceed to their new ideas?

How did he manage to buy the house in 2008? Didn't he just have some episodic roles at that point?
-
Thanks, tv echo. I know what MG says about the comics, but the show often contradicts the show, I don't have much reason to belive him that the comics wouldn't. However, there's nothing about that flashback that contradicts them starting to hook up earlier. I don't know whether Tommy was actually in love with Laurel prior to the Gambit, but I do believe he felt drawn to her, but maybe tried to convince himself otherwise because of her thing with Oliver. Although again, people tell me that according to the comics the two of them used to swap girls or whatever, so I don't know why it would have been verboten. Who knows, maybe Tommy honestly did think Laurel was a stuck up hag who dragged Oliver down and then she turned out to be awesome in the sack that first time they hooked up.

Going by the title, all I've got is Nyssa wanting to kill Malcolm and he obviously doesn't die because Malcolm cannot be killed. Other than that, it does make me somewhat weary about Tatsu's faith. I think he might be trying to goad people into worrying about Roy, but he's seen getting away from the explosion. None. Plus he loves the Internet as well. There's the EvilFelicity, since this show doesn't go to Earth2.
-
What got me is how tiny that knife is. Nyssa really is a badass to use it at all effectively.
-
I don't remember cells at NP last season being as nice as Nyssa's in the preview. A special courtesy for the dethroned heir or is Malcolm just a kinder jailor all around?
-
Thea should really get on that. I bet she could turn it into an island get away. She is supposed to have done well with the club after all, so she's got experience.
-
Not Lian Yu. Sara was once again sucked up by the ocean from the Amazo. I think the story is that she washed up on the shores of Nanda Parbat, but in my mind that hellhole is land locked so I just tell myself she washed up somewhere where Nyssa was on assignment. ETA: Wikia says on Lian Yu, so I must have remembered it wrong. How the hell did Nyssa get there? There's a Club Med on the other side of the island, I swear.
-
Huh. Maseo being alive never crossed my mind. I don't think so? What I found intriguing is her reply about how Nyssa wouldn't follow the initiation process of demolishing the place she came from, that being NP. And I can't help thinking maybe that wouldn't be so bad. In fact, it could be good. Nyssa ascending to her rightful place and then destroying the whole League.

Macha finished Therein Lies the Denouement if anyone was reading that. I think Josephine is my favourite fic kid. Ellie from FiCoN is the sweetest, but what I respond to are Oliver and Felicity's reactions to her, and ash's Legacy is the best piece of writing I've read in this fandom, but I've never been tempted to read the continuing stories about Jonathan. There is just something that makes Josephine a well-rounded and rootable character.

He could always spill after the show is over.
