Was the Clock King not Felicity's nemesis? That always felt fake to me. He attacked her system and she was the one to take him out. To clarify, what felt fake was Felicity not having a nemesis until the bee lady. She did in my book.

I could let go of the buckles, really. But those gloves are just so cheap looking. I hate myself for noticing them, because I've gone from Laurel suiting up last season until promo shots one or two episodes ago. And now they are ALL that I can see.

Footloose was right, music is evil!

Would it qualify as damseling seeing as (I think all) the men from the team have been captured as well?

Who's the last couple?

I would love it if it came true, but I won't be holding my breath. Cute photo. Oh-kay. Thanks for doing the work for me. Ray's smartwearables are a lot more appealing to be honest.

That scene is incredible. The writing is completely WTF and then Barrowman just hurls it into sooooo much cheese. I am laughing so hard, guys. I can't help myself. It's so bad it's good.

He went to meet Darhk and got a message from Felicity that they had the location where The Calculator planted the bomb.

Felicity wheeling herself into the lab like she was on fire and calling out Curtis Holt was really cute, wasn't it? I wonder with all the sharing of sets and, one would assume, props, how come they didn't give Felicity Wells' chair from The Flash. That one was powered as far as I remember from the crossover.

DD wanted Oliver Queen. He cares diddly squat about GA.

I approve of your reading of the mood, @AyChihuaha.

Self-defense and shooting practice are also in the more than fine category. Just judging by the way she handled herself in 4x09, I'm chosing to believe there is training going on off screen until the show explicitly tells me otherwise.
-
I hope you're right. I really don't want her in one as she doesn't need it. Being in the ATOM suit or something like that is more than fine, it's dictated by circumstance and necessity. But there doesn't need to be a tenth maks out there while the coms are unmanned.

I don't see it as controversial. I just don't share your opinion in this instance. Although I can't and won't contradict you on it being off-putting. It is and I wish the writers would find another trick. Or at least have it be a part of the plan. God help me, but even teaming up with Malcolm last season, downright insane as it was, was based in some skewed logic.

kismet, now you're pushing me into turning out of the show. :) Really, I'm not sure that's a show I would watch.
-
It's still primarily idiotic in my book. I think it was supposed to be a reflection of Oliver's desperation, but why would he believe Darhk would come through? And as I said, GA literally has nothing to offer to trade. He's more of a gnat in Darhk's book so far than a serious nemesis. [voice modulator]Give me the cure![/voice modulator] Cue Darhk's befuddled expression. Why would I? That's all the potential meeting came down to. No wonder it didn't happen, because it would have led nowhere.

I haven't really thought about it, but isn't EBR's rhetoric on the issue of a suit for Felicity different in this short interview? Up until now she seemed more of the Felicity doesn't need a suit, she fights with her computers train of thought. She seems more open to it now and it sort of makes me fear that a suit is in the works. I hope it's just a case of her getting tired of answering the same question over and over.

It's stupid, but not heinous in my book. Like, honestly, what do you even have to offer in exchange, Oliver?
-
I got the impression kismet's point was that if that happened, it would be easy and painless to walk away and stop watching the show.
-
kismet, I've got to admit I'm enjoying your posts in a perverse way. It's like a chose your own adventure and the worst possible path. But I think you need a shower. And a nap. ;)

I don't think it's impossible he found out about the death from the script. Not necessarily true, but not impossible. Who knows if the damn writers knew for sure who it was before they broke down the episode.
-
The death brother was Vlad. It doesn't matter, buf someone wrote Luka upthread and it aas bugging me what his name really was.

From SA's Twitter: Stephen Amell @amellywood 3h3 hours ago Behind the scenes this evening. Palmer Tech, correct?

It really irks me that the production is so lazy that they are keeping that photo of Oliver and Felicity cuddling in front of some shithole that Bamford had made for a transition shot in 4x07 instead of just sticking that bad Photoshop of them in Positano. At least that one is canon compliant. And it's already there! On another note, everyone looks great in the shots for this storyline. Donna's outfit is super cute. And not much Donna. I feel conflicted. Maybe it's a reflection of the effect of hearing Noah showing up has on her.
