Sara would still have Dinah.

I actually rewatched some of the episode, which hasn't happened in a while. Rory possibly got thrown around the least, yet he's the only one with a shiner. Poor boo. I am really, really digging his and Felicity's energy. It's way more lowkey than her and Curtis, but there seems to be some possibly deeper understanding and connection on an emotional level. With Curtis it's definitely there intelectually, but with Rory it seems to have more weight. I accidentally caught some of the flashbacks, and I appreciate how Oliver's inclusion into the Bratva seems to be going. This dude was offering him a group of people who would accept him with no judgement when Oliver was judging himself. It makes sense for who he was and where he was at to seek for those connections. They seem to have done almost a 180 with Rene, what with him complimenting Curtis on his work, when so far he only seemed to value brute strength and trying to make him funny. I disliked him less in this episode, but I actually thought the actor did a better job playing a douche. Maybe he's confused with the swerve as well. I noticed this in an earlier episode as well, but when did they start dressing him in oversized clothing? It doesn't feel like it's always been the case, but there was the hoodie in this episode and the coat which he had already worn in the MSF. Is he pilfering through Curtis' locker? Thea really is dedicated to her job, what with going on a conference right after finding out that Prometheus is targetting everyone, including her, and that he tricked Oliver into killing an innocent dude Felicity was dating.

I skimmed the article. It's long and not really on a topic I'm interested in, but the gist seems to be that they want GA and BC, and they waited for that with Laurel, only she failed both when it came to chemistry and when it came to fighting. Yes?

That part is nice. :) The motivation for those other people being there is crystal clear, but I still think someone (starting with the tutor) should have informed them they were in the wrong class. As you yourself described, it turned into everything except for a beginners' class. But this is a professional gripe of mine, so I'm just gonna let it go.

As a language instructor, I absolutely hate those situations because they not only force a beginners' course to become something else, but they also result in what happened to you. Real beginners, who are actually in the right place feel ashamed, less than and unmotivated, while others feel too confident. Who's to say, you may have ended up not having any proclivity for languages, but the fact is, you weren't given a chance to find out.

Yup, neighbors. :) Come on, we all like you. ;)

Oh, sorry. I thought you were quoting @Velocity23. I think the meaning of kaput as done orginates from German/French.

Where are you guys from? Because, same.

I'm not a bow connoisseur, but apparently, Oliver was using Talia's bow for most of S1 until Malcolm broke it and Oliver got out Yao Fei's bow.

To Sacrifice the Sun has been updated. It's not a perfect fic, mostly due to an overuse of frak in all its variations IMO and that Felicity doesn't match Felicity how I see her in certain aspects. However, I can rationalize it because of the pretty big thing that hit her when she and Oliver were first together, while she was still very young. I like that the author seems to be taking a non-maudlin approach to a fairly difficult subject. This last chapter is all Oliver and Felicity. Best of all, it will be on a regular weekly update schedule for a while.

I think she's totally bragging and I have to say it's not unwarranted. Compared to one of the promo pics for next episode there is a big change in a short amount of time

What about Schwarzerer (blacker)? She wouldn't even need the scream, most random thugs would struggle just with pronouncing it. But beware and remember the horrible "German" thugs back in S1, I think. It took me a while to process what the dudes were saying, even though it ammounted to basically, Drop your weapon. But I was honestly going for French on account of the sexy factor, which is what I am told is crucial here.

Maybe he was protecting Laurel from the new Count? After all, had she been in the restaurant, she was the one who could have been blown up.

Canary Noir?

This was very enjoyable.

As @Midnight Lullaby said, it could be intentional.

Deceive, Inveigle, and Obfuscate update. I highly recommend it. It's got Felicity being a badass, Moira seeming to unclench a bit but not in any over the top un-Moira-like way, Oliver seems to be getting off his ass, and I'm almost completely convinced Felicity has seen through him at the end of the chapter. Wheeee. I'm trying not to spoil much, but it's really, really good. Also, I sort of love the moments with Jean, particularly one which I read as, Never thought I'd see Moira's idiot son become this kind of idiot.

As I understood it, the earplugs were made to neutralize Laurel's cry, but BS's cry is on another (higher?) frequency, so they're not effective. Who got lair clean up duty? It was back in order real quick this time.

I'm so happy for you. :)

I just had an unwelcome thought. Introducing Talia in the flashbacks isn"t going to cut down on Anatoly, is it? OK, he's definitely there in 512 as he should be, but still. Also, Tina looks really thin. Also also, Curtis goes out in his day clothes when they track her down? He's like Oliver, it's all about the extremes.

About time someone else in SC got a boost aside from window makers.

I think he did in the comics. On this show, we heard about Joe. Billy Wintergreen was his godfather. And on LoT, in potential 2046, there was Grant Wilson. I have no clue how old he was in 2046, but he was active then as well as 15 years prior when he took over SC and de-armed Oliver.

Wow. I actually completely forgot that the show had a million more viewers less than a year ago.
