My Fit Foods was at least real food that was nutrient dense. They went out of business in Dallas, but Snap Kitchen is holding strong. Weight Watchers does a good job of this I think. For XX points, you can have a grilled chicken breast, a sweet potato and broccoli. For the same points, you can eat 3/4 of a Snickers. Doing a visual demonstration and making the food look good creates at least some motivation to meal plan. Genetics and prayers don't last but so long. Anyway, nutrition. They need to do more and do better.

If she was lucky and got weighed during her cycle, that's easily five pounds. And then if you cut booze and any kind of sugar drink completely, eat "lean and green" etc. I imagine it could be done without too much suffering. I think it can be really challenging for many younger women to embrace clean eating, take the time for meal prep, etc., and instead they just cut way back on the junk they're already eating down to nothing. I wish they had real nutrition classes and not just the soda gives you cellulite bullshit. For women who are truly dedicated and passionate about their health and their bodies, it doesn't seem too unreasonable. I think some want to have their cake and eat it too, and genetics can just be a bitch. I don't think Kelli harps about the weight for the gals who take the more bodybuilder, muscular approach like Kelli Q and Stephanie. They probably weigh more and eat more but muscle definition is clear. So, I'm gonna go make some eggs and a protein shake! LOL.

Holly's family and Holly herself might have expectations of a degree, knowing fame and a dance career are uncertain. A marketing degree certainly won't steer her wrong. Not making So You Think You Can Dance was probably a big reality check for a girl who has likely always been a star as well. Doing DCC gives her a chance to get an education, take a variety of classes, hone her technique, etc. Moving to NYC or LA at 18 takes a lot of chutzpah and a lot of cash, and she might not have felt ready.

Jenna really does have it going on! She's great here, freezing her tush off or no. And Amy T. <3 I think Yuko looks just fine. Her appearances are probably more limited than some of the other gals, but I'm sure that's the case every year for a variety of women for a variety of reasons. She's pretty and seems to get the job done well enough! Morgan was my last weaker standout and she got cut for her second season, so Yuko must be doing something right. She might have fabulous kicks? I forgot about kicks this year. Christina looked like she made a point to show flexibility in her solo, so maybe we will get less whining this time around.

Oh man...Mandy was just a baby! That's almost ten years ago. Sniff, sniff. I'm gonna miss her. So pretty and seemed so darn nice.

Kelli Q looks so happy and blissed out in that pic. Yuko is very pretty too. I love the gals in the front row that noped right out of sitting on their legs until they had to - I hate sitting like that, and ouch on the hardwood floor. It's the most random things that I notice.

True, but her weight gain was quite visible and she wasn't making sufficient progress on it during camp. It doesn't seem as obvious for Heather and Allie.

I think going in we were all thinking it was a super competitive year and vets would be cut...just not the vets we expected for sure. I just realized that in the vet's solo costume group pic, Allie had her hair flat and pulled back. Reminded me of when Kelli was so pissed about Collin's tan and both her and Judy were wanting her to do something with that hair! It might have come down to nit-picking. Hell, I just realized how short both Alli and Heather are from that Instagram post. Who knows? Excited to see the episodes!!

Awww, that makes my heart happy. I don't follow Holly so thanks for sharing. I'm friends with a few former Chiefs cheerleaders (thanks high school!) and I have to say I like the direction their uniforms took in later years. Lol. The DCC uniform really just doesn't date like so many others, small tweaks aside. It really is classic.

I thought Shelly broke down the money thing for us and it wasn't as terrible as previously thought? They're paid for games, appearances, rehearsal time and for anything extra they do for CMT. No, it's not major bank, but outside of the Training Camp, particularly for rookies, it's essentially a part time job. A high profile one, but still. I'm all for the women making more, I just recall it not being nearly as bad as I thought. (And I agree with pretty much everything else you said.)

You're right - the concert was on 5/6. Well shoot, I just don't know. Lol. I had Seattle friends that attended and said it was a giant party (and also a real life version of Lip Sync Battle), so maybe she just tied in the tour name and made a silly post. Bless her heart.

Eh, she likely already had the concert tickets and was flying high on her extremely exciting day. That adrenaline is probably amazing. I hate Chris Brown and question her judgement there, but I get it. Her excitement seems innocent enough. She's probably dead to the world today wearing some yoga pants and a messy bun. Lol. Adrenaline crashes are no joke. If she's a serial party girl, Kelli will nip it in the bud quick if she's amazing or give her the boot if she's not.

I'm so sad that Chris Brown still has a career. Sigh. He's talented, but just seems like a terrible human. Nonetheless, I don't think her post is too bad. She had a very exciting day and is probably giddy for the concert. On Raylee...I was so surprised and remembered her swimsuit pics being stunning. And then I looked again and she does look kind of cheap. Still, she was going into her third year and we don't get those non rookie cuts terribly often. I hope she wasn't caught off guard. I think Yuko has a very unique look, and maybe her personality shines despite some language barriers. I feel like we hear rave reviews of her dancing and they just don't show it. It's a tv show peeps...show, don't just tell.

Dayton confirmed that she didn't make it on her instagram comments but that she'll be back next year. Good attitude and good for her. Celinda confirmed that she's going back to TC.

Erica (with Cersten and Jenna) and Kelsey (with Kelli) both have cute happy dances on their insta stories now. I'll manually check for some others...those I follow. Lol.

Lots of baffled and/or pissed faces in that DJ EJ shot for sure. Always crazy when vets get cut, but I'm sure we'll understand when the episode airs. At least I hope so!

I was a little disappointed in Raylee's solo - her bootie shake was fun but I kept waiting for her samba to take off. I think I've watched too many Latin ballroom solos on So You Think You Can Dance. Miss that show. Well, the kid free version.

Oh yes, I posted about that earlier too :) But many posters thought she'd be a potential cut vet, and I wasn't sure why. She seems like the total package, if a bit cheesy.

Tasha never seemed like she was on the bubble to me - what did I miss? She's super pretty in that Barbie way, solid dancer, cute kiddo and husband so has a good story.

The one who didn't stop whining? And said she didn't hurt in a split but still couldn't kick? Yup. I'm surprised, because Kelli seemed like she was having none of her bullshit. She must have brought the hell out of it today.

Snapchat is surprisingly informative, though it did take me for ever to figure out. Decent snippets of solos, including Holly's and Jinelle's. And the giant fuzzy group pic.

Oh great googly moogly. She's my namesake and I guess I admire persistence, but she was so effing whiny.
