Me too. And I'm curious what the editing monkeys might have done for that preview too. If the question before Spicy was "what pop star do you think is sexy?" her brain might have taken a second to catch up to a political figure. So she might have said what we saw on the snippet, been given a little context and then rebounded with "isn't it amazing how popular SNL has gotten this year with Melissa McCarthy portraying him??" Hopefully she just had a brain fart and recovered well and we were just given a juicy snippet. This made me laugh out loud. I'm kind of curious what a DCC's answer world be! I have to say, I've gone to several corporate events (both alone or accompanying my dad to some of his work stuff, which tends to be SUPER old boys club) where topics like this come up, and even though most times I'm expected to smile, nod and look pretty (especially when at a Dad event) being engaged in the conversation is expected. And many people assume everyone around them votes and feels the same way they do, thus saying whatever the heck they want. Sometimes it's hard to hold back a shocked expression. I got stuck with a real awkward conversation about President Obama while in a corporate suite at Cowboys Stadium once, so thanks for that flashback ??

Yes, especially in uptown. The only 18 and over places I can think of are places like Red River on ladies' night. And you can get around some of the 21+ if they serve food, but honestly, the clubs they're going to are 21+ unless you know somebody. I could be wrong tho, I'm old now ?? Holly wouldn't have hit my radar for underage at any point, but I honestly don't remember much if any younger girls getting in many places Uptown. By SMU or TCU maybe? Hmm. Shall ponder. It's all moot if you know the right people anyway.

There's only 2-3 places at any given time in Dallas to see and be seen, so I'm not surprised they'd be at the same place. And when you're high profile like Dak AND young, maybe just one place. Thirsty men and women everywhere though, God love it. Anyway, hopefully they popped the bottle with Dak, said hello, then went on about their evening. IIRC, Caila had posted some pro-Trump messaging on her social media prior to interviews, which made it about 100 times worse in a judge's eyes that she couldn't answer a simple question about his campaign. For this particular election, so many of the main players and their staffs are relevant in pop culture too, so it's surprising that a DCC wouldn't know his name. That said, I still think that most political questions during the interview are to see how the candidate reacts in an uncomfortable situation. They get some weird shit happening on appearances and need to show grace under fire. Kelli and crew have always made it VERY clear that the ladies need to be up on current events and considering how much of their job is NOT on the sidelines, it's not an unreasonable request. These women do a TON of appearances, including USO activities. If they only did sidelines, sure. But they don't. They're at grocery store openings, USO clubs at airports, dinners and events with the Jones family, etc.

I was going to agree with you, but then I started thinking and I thought the Chelsea cut and Kaitlynn cut (is that her name...blonde who made show group rookie year then missed practice and was super erratic) were both pretty deserved. Who am I missing? Chelsea's shitty personality wasn't new, though, so they could have cut her from the herd at solos. Sheridan was the super pretty one with the perfect body Kelli liked? I thought she was much stronger than Celinda last year, but she must not have shown it at solos. Hopefully the season will shed some light! Maybe MDC will be a better fit for her stompers.

I've been red forever and swear by Aveda's madder root shampoo and conditioner. I also only wash every 3 days or so. Between those two things my red stays like a champ. Hopefully Holly doesn't find out tho, because fading a couple shades down could be a win for her color. I like the cut tho.

I don't think the show could have glossed over Courtney Cook's leaving right after auditions the way they've glossed over other vets disapearing, though, not without a lot of questions. Did they have to build up dramatics? No, but it's tv after all. I couldn't have pointed out Amy Reese in a line up and didn't even notice her coming off the squad, but for sure I would have realized it with Courtney Cook. I suspect most viewers would have since she was a comeback girl and was going to be a 3rd year vet, I think? Or was it just her third total year in camp? I thought she was cute as a bug but her hair color was bananas that last year...dark blonde didn't suit. I remember her bad hair more than her erratic interview.

I know I'm not the only one that isn't a Christina fan, but when I saw Shelly's post I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOO. And I figured a small part of her snickered when she knew we'd all see that Christina wasn't the one cut. Dang it. I will agree that her new hair is super cute. I mentioned up thread that at least one of the twins doesn't normally drink much if at all, and I only know that because the show specifically mentioned it when they showed a whimsical little whatever about her getting trashed. They clearly can say no and get plenty of camera time, because I think the twins are a snooze fest yet they keep getting cast. I do think there's some serious gray area about consent under the influence, especially some of the stuff we saw with Lacey (?) and Chad last year, so maybe TPTB needs to get that buttoned up in their contracts. I mean, do they let up to partially dressed third base fly and anything more intervene? What's the standard? As long as it's clear up front I guess they aren't liable? Dear god can you imagine being the attorney for this show??? Their legal team probably chews xanax while reviewing film.

I was thinking a difference might be that Vegas got a glut of generic McMansions during the housing boom that need cosmetics/foreclosure repairs, and LA is full of giant shitholes that offer maximum profit because their market has never really been down. The amount of illegal apartments and such that they pull apart is fascinating. Sad too, thinking of that artist warehouse/illegal housing that caught fire last year and people died. I don't mind the grey and white - it's not exciting decoration, but the win to me is the overall before and after and profit made. They'd be foolish to make renovations too specialized, even if it would make for a more visually interesting show. I love the horror show houses they see!
