Nothing they made looked appetizing. Didn’t like the brown stringy things on top of the first dessert. Charlotte Royales always look like a brain to me.

Maybe it’s an Iron Chef situation, where they’re given 2-3 possible desserts.

I think Jean Francois should have gone home before Becca. Has he even won anything yet? The judges never seem to love anything he makes, but he always gets a pass. We had three male bakers in last season’s finale. Looks like it’s going in that direction this time too. Hmmm.

They both look like creepy lifeless wax figures.

This show is funny and the animals are cute. However I don’t even want to imagine what that house smells like, and it would be a cold day in hell before I’d eat any food that was prepared there!

She looks like a ghost that you can’t see with the naked eye but suddenly appears looming over someone in a photograph.

I feel kind of sorry for Jason. It’s not like he could tell the FN execs “I’m not qualified.” That would look pretty bad. I’m sure he knows he’s out of his league, how could he not?

I don’t hate Adam but there was something very satisfying about watching a giant cylinder take him down. I was starting to sense some smugness too.

I love strawberry shortcake so everything in the first round looked good. The second round was just “show off every technique you can think of and put it on a plate.” I can’t remember what anyone made. Also cant believe Rashida’s still there! Those must have been some crazy good biscuits!

The vast majority of these people have no business being in a competition called “Best Baker in America.” I’m already assuming the French guy will be in the finale, although I’m surprised the judges didn’t comment on his giant “mini” mousse cakes. I will say Marcella looked very pretty this episode.

Not doing the usual middle part with hair stuck to the scalp and stringing down her back is making all the difference. She looks years younger. I think she had (more) work done on her upper lip. It looks turned up like Khloe’s.

Kellyn thinks very, VERY highly of herself.

Kellyn makes my skin crawl. I’m glad Donathan found an idol. Seems like he might need it.

I liked Heather but that plate of tan food that didn’t taste like anything was unfortunate. It is starting to dawn on me that Nacho is the chosen winner and has been from the start.

Those are amazing! I like the interesting challenges this season. They are a step up from the “make a dozen spring-themed donuts” of past seasons.

I thought the Modern Family kid was pretty obnoxious.

I thought Jack didn’t want to teach the kids biology because he thought he was above it and would rather focus on getting revenge on Miles. However, he got seriously PISSED when he found out they had learned a little biology on their own. He even made them abandon the Miles plot because he was so mad that they learned something. WTF??

I don’t know what golden berry tastes like but if it’s as sour as they say, she should have treated it like rhubarb (which I think is delicious!)

There was something about the navy and white stripes in Fabio’s collection that looked cheap and/or nautical. This was his competition to lose and he did. Reminds me of Brandon last season. Can someone please clue me in on what was so fantastic about Stanley’s plain red dress with the too-low waistline.

Particularly since she was alone on Ghost Island and didn’t need to hide anything down her pants.

I agree that the dumb jellybean twist just made everything disgusting. Also can’t believe the judges were ok with the one girl (Jessica?) making key lime eclairs when her theme was wildflowers!
