IIRC, Kris was originally supposed to go to Colombia and meet Jeymi in person for her birthday. Instead, with no explanation, she ghosted Jeymi for 20 days and during this time, Jeymi started talking online to a woman in Texas. When Kris finally got to Colombia, (this season) she was supposed to be moving there permanently, starting a business and getting married. Instead, after just a few days she claimed she had to return to the US for a “couple of weeks” to straighten out some kind of issue at home. The reason kept changing-a court case, her medication, banking problem, one more shady excuse than the last. Instead of being in Alabama for two weeks, she ended up staying five months and during this time she didn’t answer Jeymi’s calls or send her the promised rent money.
