  1. Aren't her kids like, 18-19 years old. Wouldn't that be a long time for Yo to have hidden Lyme disease? Normally, no. But they were being filmed, so they must have known that she would see it.
  2. We are way off topic. You are correct, though. The tide started to turn with Ryan White. I was given AZT when diagnosed in 1990. DDI was either available or just about available. I started on PI's in 1998, and they were not brand new. I was just afraid they were another set of miracle drugs that wouldn't work. INcidentally, the dosages of AZT that they were given were ridiculous. It made me sick, and I refused it, aside of my pregnancy But it was all there was. It's still in use but in much lower doses. When I had my son in 1995, I was part of the original AZT trial in pregnant women
  3. So that's why they call it Lyme. Duh My brother has Sarcoidosis. Vile Disease. I'm sorry
  4. As an LTS of AIDS, I can tell you that I get and sympathize wth every word you speak. At least my diseases is recognized now.. But it's also a victim of Rodney Dangerfield Syndrome. The CDC is notoriously slow to recoginize things, and then, to change their status etc.
  5. I get it. I had not dad. Loved 8 is Enough too. But Michael Landon was my TV Dad
  6. I'm 45 pale, and that is what I look like without makeup. I NEVER leave the house without it. I have to say that was kind of a boring premiere. But No Brandi, so....Awesome
  7. Just came here to post about Yo's divorce, but others beat me to it. Holy Crap
  8. I'm so excited that this is back. I hope it's better than RHOOC was. I think Yo is more likely a hypochondriac than Munchausen.
  9. Thanks all.I'm actually still in London.. Saw Bumpkin from Ladies of London. Saw we have a preview date for RHOBH and I will see you ladies there. I don't head home until next Monday. I'm headed for some big Doctor WHo thing at the Excel. Center next weekend . And I have not seen the finale or the reunions. I have a lot to catch up on when I get home.
  10. SO it is pretty much confirmed that the cancer story was a lie? Vicki is evil

  16. Hello from Paris. Just spent 2 days in a Chateau on the Loire. Visited Chambord and Villandry. We are in Paris until Wednesday and then on to Amsterdam. I have to figure out how to see this last episode. Can anyone give me a really quick synopsis?
  17. Greetings from Copenhagen. There is a woman on TV that looks like a more skanky Lauri Waring and she made me think of you all. Was there no episode this week?
  18. But I have children and I must set an example! I can't smoke the pot. I need to watch some RH travel episodes so that I can figure out how to be a good tourist. I really hope the car service doesnt send me a Family Van!
  19. I'm also going to Amsterdam, and I want to go to the place where the RHOBH had pancakes.
  20. I'm sucking down vitamin c and airborne. I know it probably doesn't work, but who cares. It's a 9 hour flight to Copenhagen.. If you are curious, I plan to Whoop it Up!
  21. NO, of course radiologists have more training and are better at reading them but. All doctors can read them in a basic way. Radiologists are able to read in far more detail
  22. Not to mention that Plastic Surgeons don't just do "Vanity" surgeries. When my hubby had his aortic disection , and developed compartment syndrome, he had a fasciotomy. When the fasciotomy was healed up enough it was a plastic surgeon who did his skin grafts to close it up. I was there when he looked at the scans of my husbands legs befoe the surgery. Bottom line, Plastic surgeons are trained and actually do a lot of things besides nose jobs.
