I honestly can’t remember when I last watched a full episode. It’s probably been at least a month; I think it was just before the whole pandemic thing started.

Anyone who can get Comet TV (I get it over the air from Buffalo) - they are running the series from the beginning, two eps a night starting at 8 pm. 16 years later and I’m amazed how much I remember! 😄

Since this whole thing started, I have completed (with my son’s help) a 1000-piece, a 500-piece and a 300-piece jigsaw puzzle, and I am working on a second 1000-piece puzzle.

Another series in the Scandi-noir/British noir genre is Shetland, which has the advantage of gorgeous Scottish scenery and accents. It’s on Netflix and is wonderful. I found a new series created by Julian Fellowes on Netflix, just released on March 20, called The English Game. It’s about football (soccer) and how it became a game for the common folk, not just the upper class. If you like British police procedurals, Line of Duty and Bodyguard are both great choices.

Nothing serious - I just posted that after the orange shitgibbon’s Oval Office speech 😄 Oh, and I thought I was doing OK anxiety-wise, but last night I had a dream that was vaguely reminiscent of The Stand 🤷🏽‍♀️😄 so this morning I did my taxes to keep my mind off things! I’ll admit to being a little worried, but not for myself or my family - we’re relatively young and healthy - but for my parents and mother-in-law, who are all over 80, and my dad is immunocompromised. However, it’s not like they’re going out to places with hundreds of people, or hanging out at the airport or anything like that - they mostly just go out to do the grocery shopping and to medical appointments and the like.

Whew, this has been a day...
