  1. God, if this is true, please make it so Kara is stuck drinking with Mick all night (and we get to watch the highlights). Pretty please....
  2. I don't know why, but for some bizarre reason although I just good-naturedly tolerated Jack in the original run, I'm suddenly more invested in his story than just about anyone's else's right now. I'd LOVE for him to realize he gets more joy out of teaching young kids and pursue that as a dream. I'd LOVE for Kyle Bonheiner to turn out to be more than a one-night stand for him and see him in a real relationship. I don't know where the hell this is coming from!! It's not like I'm invested in SH as an actor; this sudden interest in Jack's end game is coming completely out of left field for me.
  3. I wonder what Mick is saying to Zari in that last photo to make Ray and Jax give him those WTF looks. I have a feeling that expression gets quite a workout when Mick is your teammate.
  4. Man, that episode had some funny scenes.
  5. @Mellowyellow, you're so sweet and sunny, I'm gonna start calling you Haircut. Nah, Ray won't be bad. But I hate that Mick will be chilling on the ship when you know he goes chasing after Ray whenever Ray's in danger. And you know it's all in service of Nate and their "broship". Oh well, I've escaped hating on the Arrowverse so far...I suppose my time had to come sooner or later.
  6. The Legends one. Let's just say given the premise, I find the description of one character's actions very unbelievable.
  7. I don't often get mad with these shows, but I have to admit, that press release really pissed me off. But I'm tired and it's late and I don't have the energy to rant anymore.
  8. Ugh, that press release in "Phone Home." If you expect me to buy that Mick Rory - the guy who nearly sacrificed himself to save Ray at the Vanishing Point, the same guy who was going to chase him to Camelot so he wouldn't have to fight alone - is going to sit on the ship investigating Stein while Ray's life is in danger...well, let's just say Time is not the only broken thing around here. Dammit Nate, this is *your* fault!
  9. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT PRESS RELEASE. Gah!
  10. Who the fuck is that mean to their loved ones at a wedding?! I made sure my girls were free to look as gorgeous as they wanted to be, and I'm no beauty queen. Iris looks beautiful even in half-frenzied, shoot-now-or-lose-it pap shots, so I can only imagine how radiant she'll appear on the show. But because I used to frequent the Say Yes to the Dress forums (don't judge me), all I can think about are the hilariously snarky comments on the Pnina "stripper fairy" concoctions. (Editor's Note: For the record, Iris does NOT look like a stripper fairy.)
  11. Saw a picture on Purcell's Instagram...you Snart fangirls/fanboys will be happy.
  12. Other than the meta reasons, I assumed Sara was making her life suck on purpose because she felt guilty and responsible for getting the Legends disbanded.
  13. Late here, so just chiming in to say I really enjoyed it and laughed my ass off.
  14. Yeah, that's not great. And I enjoyed it; I kind of got a little verklempt, actually. The tie in with the birthdays and the baseball card was really well done.
  15. I love it when Colbert nearly breaks. He's so adorable.
  16. Yeah I liked the premiere too. A lot of Kara/Alex, Alex/J'onn, Kara/J'onn, Kara/Lena; Winn eavesdropping on Sanvers made me laugh out loud, and somebody finally remembered James was a real character. Also liked Odette Anabelle's debut and Cat's new gig.
  17. I could see Mick handling whatever Constantine wanted to throw him, to be honest. I always thought it believable that Mick would sleep with anyone who was interested in doing so simply because he wouldn't care about the person or their plumbing any more than he'd care about using a sex toy. They'd literally be just tools he uses to get off. So maybe technically bi, but not like Sara (who is sexually and sometimes romantically invested in her partners even when it's a casual hookup). I do believe Purcell would be willing to play it, but I'd be shocked if the writers were willing to go there.
  18. Can't remember the site I read it on - I found it on Reddit, which I find awkward to get on my phone - but in it Klemmer (I think) confirmed Constantine is also bisexual, and that we were going to see "hot sex" on the Waverider. Whether the two are related....
  19. That is a kickass promo. I'm so hyped for tomorrow night! ETA: Thought I was in the spoiler thread; sorry if I offended any virgin eyes!!
  20. Trust Mick not to care about "sleeping with every partner your partner's ever slept with." I suspect he's the type who'd prefer paying for his partners than risk emotional involvement with one. But if they ever establish he's not all that fussy about gender either - "getting laid is getting laid; don't really care about the plumbing" - I'll forgive them every disease they want to saddle him with.
  21. I would love for both Will and Jack to find true love. But for the love of all things Madonna, NOT WITH EACH OTHER. There comes a point in friendships with someone you could theoretically sleep with (that is, they fit within your defined limits of your sexuality and they're not considered off limits for some reason, e.g. monogamy) where you either go through that door or you don't, and if you don't that door inevitably closes. That point passed for Will and Jack a long time ago; as well as they know each other and have for a long time, I just can't buy that they'd suddenly fall for each other *now*. It'd feel far too much like settling, and they both deserve better than that.
  22. Too similar for me. It'd be funnier/more interesting if it was two very different personalities. Ray and Mick are about as different as you can get. Although...Mick and Stein would also be a complete blast. Garber being grubby and surly? Purcell being fussy and spluttery? Damn, now I'm torn. ETA: Ah, it's Jax and Stein. That should be good too.
  23. So apparently, in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Klemmer mentioned we will be seeing Constantine performing an exorcism. And a Freaky Friday setup...which better involve Brandon Routh and Dominic Purcell switching characters, or what is really the point??
  24. I watch the four Arrowverse shows, Gotham, and Lucifer. Maybe one of those days I'll try the Marvel ones, but honestly they just seem "heavier" and my TV watching is pretty much light, fun stuff. Legends is my favourite (I've shocked you all, I know), but Gotham is a close second. One thing Gotham has over Legends for me: they are literally doing EVERYTHING I'd dared ever hope for when it comes to my fave character, Bruce Wayne. I honestly can't say that about Mick and Legends. Re. Snart: I'd have a complete meltdown if Mick ever went back to Central City as a Rogue, but I do wish they'd bring back post Vanishing Point Snart as an anachronism due to blah blah blah time-breaking cakes. He can go back to Central City and spend his days devising new ways to get The Flash to pay more attention to him. That way he can guest star on Legends to help out every now and again, and have bittersweet moments with Mick. I think he'd always represent for Mick "the road not taken" - a partnership and life that he might have enjoyed had Mick not boarded the Waverider...but he did, and he can't go back. Leonard is his past; the Legends (especially Ray and Amaya, don't take this from me) are his future.
  25. Yay, positive growth for Mick! Nice to get some spoiler news on him.
