  1. Jackson's legs still look really bowed. The soles of his feet aren't flat on the ground. I wonder how much they hurt.
  2. Argh, And now a Popeyes placement. At least we know Coach really likes Popeyes.
  3. I hated the Chipotle placement in this week's episode. I'll eat a Chipotle bowl here and there, but that kid clearly wasn't enjoying it (amount of leftovers) and it felt really forced.
  4. I would be happy with an Icesis or a Pythia win.
  5. I thought Enorma Jean had a chance to make it to the finals with Farida Kant and Elecktra Bionic. I hope there was more to the argument than what we saw to warrant the extra LSFYL.
  6. Thanks, so when this was filmed 16 months ago they were 4 & 8. I'm not sure Areola would understand Kody being away for 3-4 weeks, but does anyone really think it was about Robyn's kids or Ysabel? It was about Kody's relationships with Robyn and Christine. He is in love with Robyn and in frustration with Christine. Covid was just a convenient excuse.
  7. I agree, Marry is a terrible and shady person. And Lisa is a terrible and shady person. So is Jen Shah. Jenny is uninteresting. But I enjoy Meredith, Heather and Whitney.
  8. I just watched the third episode and this is a cluster. Ava Hangar, Enorma Jean and Luquisha Lubamba all went from 0 to 60 in under 6 seconds. I would probably kick them all out and invite back Ivana Vamp and maybe add another 1-2 contestants. I'd make it a complete restart.
  9. Nana and Poppy are old. Poppy has dementia and is in a wheel chair. My question: Why aren't the 7 little Johnston's making the 1 hour drive for Father's Day instead of the other way around?
  10. Yes, Elecktra Bionic is a front runner. I think Farida Kant is as well. I will keep watching.
  11. I suspect he'll be on Robyn's plot, which happens to be the furthest from Meri's. Kody's plot will just have a wooden post to hang beach towels when they swim in the runoff pond. And maybe there will be a fire pit and a picnic table to enjoy hotdogs and s'mores.
  12. I've been watching. The queens seem older than the ones on the other franchises. The queens aren't as polished and the wardrobes are a step below. That said, they are all likable. Do you think they deserve their own thread? We are two weeks in and this is the first mention of them....
  13. No, LPA wasn't meant to be profitable, but it was a way to gain visibility to pitch the show--The Johnstons were also able to successfully pitch a show and met with Matt at an LPA conference. Yes, Mike and Camerino worked on the farm, most farms that size have paid employees. But Matt was the one making the decisions. He ran the farm. Matt partnered with Mike on DAS. It was new and probably just breaking even. It was a long term play. Amy's work paid/offset tuition, paid for soccer and paid household bills. She worked hard to raise her kids. My two cents, Matt and Amy weren't aligned on priorities. She needed more stability and resented that he wasn't bringing in the money that he did in sales at Altos or Sequent. He didn't want to travel for sales anymore and had a dream about fame, fortune and the farm. I'm not particularly a fan of either Roloff parent, but I don't have a problem with what both wanted and did for their livelihood. To me, they both were working. And I understand how both could have been frustrated with their spouse.
  14. And to bring this back to Matt, around this time he was 1) running the farm 2) trying to get Direct Access Solutions off the ground 3) President of the LPA 4) pitching the TV series. I think both were working hard. The difference was that Matt wasn't making much money while Amy was piece mealing her gigs to may bills, including school tuition, soccer fees, and household bills. No judgement at all--Amy was focused on living in the here and now and Matt was chasing the big dreams. This can work for couples if they are both bought in and agree on their roles. In this case they weren't.
  15. We sent our kids to a private school here in Portland as well and if you volunteered a certain number of hours you got reduced tuition. What Amy was doing seemed a bit more than that--she seemed to me minding the pre-school kids. I remember some sort of concert.
  16. I think she was also some sort of part-time secretary or administrative assistant for the soccer league.
  17. When Amber was blathering about Cruiser being Anna's perfect roommate because he wouldn't disagree or talk back all I could think was that Amber was describing what she wants in her spouse and her children.
  18. Just watched episode 5 and a few thoughts: Kenya's not wrong, Ramona comes off as a frail old lady. She should be quarantining in NY waiting to get her booster shot so she can meet up with the ladies who lunch From last episode--she is 65, what 50 year old wealthy man is going to want to be with her, to travel with her? Trying to date men in their 50s is part of the story she is trying to sell--she should celebrate her age and experience. Andy should not renew Ramona's contract for NY. A 65 year old mean delusional drunk is not fun to watch. The drama is painful and I keep hoping she will go sleep it off. Kyle seems like she really would be a good friend. Theresa is really ride or die and I understand her more now. Dare I say I like her more now? Cynthia would be too much effort to be a close friend with as she seems to have too many rules--friendship contract? But being in the same circle would be fine, fun. Kenya, like Theresa, is more likable and more vulnerable on this show. Melissa, I kind of forget she is there.
  19. I think Kitty will win. My 2 cents: Krystal is amazingly talented and I want to see her drag in 3 years. Kitty is incredibly funny and I want to go to one of her shows now. Ella is the ultimate performer and I'd like to see her on stage and have her as a neighbor. I'd like Ella to win but she is feeling like the British Rose.
  20. 25 minutes in and this week has nothing. Let's hope that the husbands and Nicki Minaj can save this.
  21. Casting was good. Happy no OC. I wonder what it would be like to have any of the cast of Potomac on UGT. Candiace would be read to filth by Kenya Karen would see real wealth with Kyle Robin would be 'out niced' by Cynthia Ashley and Wendy would be utterly forgettable I think Gizelle would hold her own or quietly take notes. And I love Potomac!
