  1. My two cents: If someone told me that I was filled with evil spirits I would never associate with them again. I would leave a party, a store, a commitment if they attempted to insert themselves in my life. I would not cause a scene and I would not acknowledge them. If someone told me that my husband was filled with evil spirits I would never associate with them again. I would have even stronger feelings than if they said I was filled with evil spirits. I don't blame Olivia for setting boundaries. At the beginning of the band conversation she was upfront," I'll be in the band if Kim isn't at the show. And I have no problem if you tell me that you want them there. I am happy to step aside. Your choice." Moriah chose Olivia rather than Kim. Regarding Ethan protecting Olivia, I have no problem with that. I think the original accusation made it crystal clear to Ethan that his mother was a master manipulator who wants to stay at the center of her children's lives. Kim wants to come before her kid's partners in terms of priority. I don't believe it should work that way. We all get to be the stars in our own life stories. Our parents are just supporting roles. So Ethan's anger is just as much for himself as it is protecting Olivia. On a separate note, Lydia is a Kim minion (Kiminion?), and a weird one at that. She has moved away from the long skirts and scenes in the prayer closet to more form fitting clothes and a good bit of make up. I hope she marries early and leaves the show. I wish her health and happiness away from TV.
  2. Now we know, Kim and Barry told Olivia she was filled with evil spirits. That is unforgivable.
  3. Why yes they are. Like the Duggars, they are Quiverfull. They don't like Olivia. And for a while Moriah and Micah were also estranged from their parents.
  4. It was interesting that Barry suggested that it would be a bad idea, risky. He says it is a no go.
  5. Yep, saying she is going to go and no one is going to know. Having Moriah say that she doesn't want to know. You reap what you sow.
  6. Ethan and Olivia take steps to reconcile their marriage. Barry and Kim learn that they aren't invited to Moriah's gig, and Kim is forced to make a choice that is best for her, Moriah and Olivia. Original Air Date Oct 12, 2021
  7. This episode reminded me why I love this show. The queens are fiercer, the conversations feel more genuine, and the drag is flat out better. I thought Veronica out lip-synched Vanity Milan, even though I prefer Vanity. I love that the UK version doesn't seem to have filler queens.
  8. Just a thought that may have been covered years ago. Does anyone think that Kim running over and killing her toddler son is the reason that she wants to be in absolute control of her children? That she was confronted by the dangers of the world and now sees herself as the seer of truth, the protector of children and the HBIC? Not making excuses, just wondering if that is the event that sent her down this path.
  9. I have a lot of sympathy for Olivia. She is 23 and wants to experience love and life. Through no fault of her own (I firmly believe her family/religion pushed her to marry young) she has married a loving man-child. Ethan has a lot of baggage caused by his overbearing and judgmental mother. He is dealing with Kim wanting to be in charge of everyone's lives. Olivia doesn't want that. Kim's need to be in control is evident in her attending the concert when she is asked not to. If you love your children, even if you are disappointed in a decision, you don't go and create drama. You accept the adult child's decision and ask if you can attend the next concert. You don't load the kids up to have a camera crew film you ruining an important event in your child's life. Again, it is all about Kim, so she does what she wants.
  10. This show is always a little raw and a little awkward. I think it is because this family, other than Kim, don't know how to play at being on a reality show. They speak their minds, they show their faults, and they don't pretend to be more, better, happier than they really are. That makes it both refreshing and sad. I could do with less/no Kim. And I was happy for no Lydia.
  11. @wlk68 Nate is dead to me too. I would love him to get fired in front of the team and then to walk away in shame. While he may have father issues, it was still no way to treat the person that believed in you and promoted you. And Roy and Keeley, they get each other. They belong together. That said, the teacher would be great for Beard.
  12. The reason Micah could walk into the farmhouse is that they are renting it out on airbnb. No address here, so I hope it is okay to put the link: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/39961821?source_impression_id=p3_1632960464_VkME5NKiFeAIMeL%2B&guests=1&adults=1 The cabin on the farm is also available. Kim is a superhost.
  13. I watched as well. After Keta Minaj's exit I was on team anyone but Vivaldi. I thought Vanessa won the finale. I think she will be great representing Holland.
  14. I finally watched this one. I had put it off as a recently lost my sister and will be heading to her funeral soon. I thought it was well done, all of it. And I cried. Ted talking about his father allowed him to remember the good in his dad and to admit that he feels guilty that he didn't remind his dad of all the things that he did so well. That if he had done so, maybe his Dad wouldn't have killed himself. With Rebecca you could feel the pain of a child that keeps a secret for a parent. I appreciated that she told her mother that she hated her for staying with her cheating father. And then she was closer to her mother, after sharing the secret. I'd be happy for Rupert to fall off a ladder and die (off camera, please). I am not interested in that story line at all. I do agree with everyone, he is buying another team. What I think the Jamie confession did for Keeley is remind her that she is special, not as a beautiful woman, but as a kind, caring person. I appreciated that Jamie said he was becoming the best person he could be, that Keeley saw he could be. Keeley and Roy are the easiest people to like in the whole show. And i love Ted and Rebecca too. Okay, Higgins is great too. And Dr Sharon. And the whole team, except Nate. I like Beard, but his girlfriend can be on that ladder with Rupert.
  15. I like the queens. Initial thoughts: The good Victoria Scone is fun and light Kitty Scott-Claus is someone I didn't know I needed in my life River Medway had RuPaul laughing harder than anyone Chorizo May is so authentic and a favorite The meh Krystal Versace seems so plastic. I think she is a British Aquaria. She will do well and I will be rooting for others Charity Kase, not that interested, I hope they don't cause too much drama The maybe Ella Vaday, Scarlett Harlott and Vanity Milan I was to see more Veronica Green seems scared of the talent this time Elektra Fence had a good lip sync, but otherwise not memorable
  16. That was my response as well. 'Thank you. I care about you too."
  17. I agree with all of this. And I think we hear about Olivia's needs because Ethan doesn't talk about his. As much as therapy is uncomfortable, it would help Ethan in his relationship with Olivia. It would also help him set boundaries around what whatever he decides he wants as a relationship with his parents.
  18. This one was so raw. You could feel Olivia's and Ethan's pain. Max and Moriah discussing Moriah's clothes was not good viewing. Disfunction just washes over this family.
  19. She is also one of Jackson Marchetti's mums on Sex Education.
  20. Olivia's therapy session leaves her contemplating some major changes with Ethan; Moriah and Max debate over her revealing outfits; Barry takes Isaac and Micah golfing for some quality father and son time; Micah goes on a date with Helena. Original Air Date: Sep 21, 2021
  21. This was a disappointing season finale for me. I like Adam better than Eric. That said, I just want Adam and Rahim to be good friends. I hope the writers don't put them together, I like Ruby better than Maeve. More depth was written for Ruby, and more vulnerability. I like the new characters, though. After solid A seasons this one feels like a B-. I hope the final season finishes with the same energy as the first.
