Awww, I thought it was very sweet that Jax was very dissatisfied with Brit's breasts and paid for her augmentation. :)

S10.E02: Running Your Mouth

I don't care about Beyonce's hair; my problem with her is I think she is too fat to wear what she does. -
S10.E02: Running Your Mouth

LuAnn is getting dinged because she has been the self-proclaimed arbiter of all things cultural (black face not withstanding). She knew when she got married, she would no longer be able to refer to herself as the "Countess." Didn't she admit last season she would gladly change that for being "Mrs.?" Meh, I've never liked her and I don't buy her explanation of her marriage to Tom as a puppy-love moment, knee-weakened poor judgement kind of thing. She is too old and too smart to pull that off. She gets what she deserves this season. Carol running the marathon was amazing. While her time wasn't stellar--it takes a lot more out of you to run it in 6:45 than 3:45--you're on your feet for so much longer. Her late husband's NYC marathon time of 3;00 was pretty amazing. That is borderline elite (not saying a Kenya pro but really good). -
Guess I'm going to repeat post--who does not like fresh flowers? Seriously? Sheena doesn't because they die? Shenna doesn't like gifts? OKAY THEN!

I confess, I didn't watch this episode hanging onto the back of my seat but did Schwartz say he drank so much he ended up at a different resort? Is anybody else seriously worried about him? I would welcome an intervention at this point. Not sure what to make of the previews for next week but my fantasy is Jax goes to Tampa because his employment with Vanderpump has ended. Please, please, please. He created all of the James/Kristen drama and I want him to go.......Actually, all of these folks are tired. Whoever called for a cast change, I'm with you.

This show isn't feeling like much fun anymore. I get they are harmless party animals paid to engage in "wacky hijinks" but their hijinks are getting less and less wacky (to me). WRT the Jax job deal in Tampa, Brittany, you have zero say so. If he goes, he goes. Nothing you can do about it. Jax assuming she would join him? Oooookkkkaaaayyy. He doesn't want her to join him (and he isn't going anywhere). Tom Sw really needs to quit drinking. Katie needs to quit eating her feelings. I could go on and on about all of them but they are appearing sadder and sadder to me. They used to be fun and now they are pathetic.

Erika Girardi/Erika Jayne: Let them eat cake
albarino replied to ryebread's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I've never understood Erika. If I were in a "wealthy coma," I think the last thing I would do is become a caricature of a "sexy" woman. I think I would pursue a degree (she doesn't have one, does she?) or devote my time to a worthy cause. Or raise my child.....- 5.1k replies

Haven't read through the thread yet. They are all fat. Fat. If you don't have enough self-control to watch what you're putting into your mouth, I don't really care what is coming out of it. Yes, Janelle, I'm looking at you as first at the feeding trough.

S08.E13: Crying Shame
albarino replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I don't know anything about LA geography. BelAir vs Encino? I honestly have no idea and would love to know more about the distinction. I will be able to help with the Potomac franchise. I continue to be struck by Erika's bad behavior. She claims to be "street smart." I don't see it. If you weren't seeing RED to begin with, why wouldn't you say something along the lines of..."Teddi, my life is pretend; if I say I don't remember, I really don't. I'm sorry." Smiling all along...that would have been a way to a happy ending to me. Has she learned nothing from her lawyer husband? -

I effin hate Erika. She doesn't pretend? She doesn't PRETEND? Seriously? Isn't that her "career"? I would have yelled back at her with her "Don't you evers" saying "Or what?" Dorit is ridiculous and so was the outfit she wore to the luncheon. Her back off bitch moment to LVP was jaw dropping. Bye PeeKay. Nice knowing you. -
I am fairly new to this program and I am definitely not a supporter of plural marriage. I would definitely go into the program saying I'm one of five adults and I get a fifth of the TLC cut. If Kody wants to see a business case analysis of Meri's B&B plan, I'd ask for his BCA regarding having 4 wives and 18 kids. That is complete crap--family planning is a critical component of a family's finances. But, as I said, I'm not a proponent of plural marriage and I've gone through life making sure our careers could support our family.

Lotus Flower has a distinct point of view regarding the episode. I think I can make an ageist argument that the judges automatically assumed the older chef was the contestant, not the sous. How dare they?!? I think Adrienne is lucky to be there; quit looking for perceived slights. I'm offended by Padma's attire. I struggle with the discussion of professionalism amongst fellow chefs versus the sluttiness of the host.
-
What a disappointment. Adrienne? I would count her as one of the most forgettable chefs ever. Based on her editing this season, I guess Joe wins and I'm okay with that.

CAN'T STAND TONY!!!!

A minor quibble; the Surgeon General serves in the Public Health Service and it is one of the seven uniformed services (as stated above). This first time I saw Jim, I thought he was transgendered so there you go.....

Lisa, as the employer, needs to shut that shit down. She needs to call each one of the antagonists in and tell them the Mean Girl Club is over. She is allowing for a hostile workplace environment lawsuit. I did this once with mean girls who worked for me and it was effective. Most normal people understand when they get called out at work. I understand Stassi and Kristin don't work for her but letting Katie know she would get rid of her if Lala filed a lawsuit would work. *Sigh* I keep applying my rules when I'm confronted with connotative dissonance. We really are viewing a soap opera. Not real life.

Yolanda Hadid: My Love, My Lemons, My Lyme Disease.
albarino replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The isn't going to hurt me too much (doesn't Gigi model for low rent companies?) but I'm going to send every single company I see her shilling for that I'm done. Like I say, she models for cheap companies, but she doesn't even get that she is making fun of her mother? Okay then. -
Me too!
