  1. I can't imagine any path for Jordon to succeed, I don't expect him to win, The problem with little Brim, is that she does not relate to her age group, it is as if she has been among adults so long, she can't identify.
  2. I should add that when my father was a child in the early 30's they locked an uncle in a shed to live when he had an illness. My father recognized it when he had parkinsons as an adult, the shaking, The mistreatment of the ill and the mentally ill has occurred for far back in history, For years this man had to live in an unheated shed in New Jersey while he was ill, I can't imagine it
  3. we need a groan button as well as a heart button here.
  4. isthere any reality in time? walking from coast to coast and back again has taken how long?
  5. I thought the title was changed to Jeff to reflect this was a paula centric episode. Jeff was her Josh.
  6. Well, I assume someone took the fall for the tour failure, the tour sponsor goldenvoice presents maybe? I can't imagine the mother's would have been so dumb to self book.
  7. Vanity sizing indeed, and if you add in I bought cheap clothes when I was young, I think that adds to it, because my wedding dress was a nice expensive cocktail dress and was size 8. The funny thing is the cheap clothes I bought when I was young still look good, if out of style, today, but newer clothes wear out or stain quickly. I m still wearing 40 year old t shirts without stains, but can't seem to keep a new T shirt for an entire year without it getting ruined. when I go out, I do not look like other people, ha ha . I don't mean I wear clothes that i had 40 years ago aside from stretchy t shirts, since I have gained weight, but it seems like my closet has been raided by regular teens for the last 30 years. A young boy took all my elephant leg jeans, he loved them. Didn't care if they were girls clothes.
  8. The other thing I like is that they do complement the other teams instead of trashing them when they do well.
  9. Everybody is not a size 2 - I do have to point out that I have a young niece who wanted to wear some of my vintage clothes but she is a size 0 some number I never was near. but she tried on a size 10 dress I had and it fit her perfectly. methinks sizes have grown over 40 years or so. This could also explain why a size 12 Marilyn Monroe was a size 12 according to her labels and is being displayed on size 6 dress forms.
  10. JMHO, If you hated the twins on this show, you would have really hated the twins on the show "twins" where htey lied to people repeatedly, made out with different guys to get ahead, basically were very unpleasantly manipulative. As far as what is said in the talking heads, I remember that there is a producer there goading them onto say the most outrageous things. If you want to be featured and encouraged, you play along. I don't take any talking heads seriously on any of these shows.
  11. I think she was just in teacher mode. Habits are hard to break.
  12. and right now the TV keeps blaring Jo jo's name in a national advertisement, the store name escapes me at the moment, but she is bigger than i thought. And there is a cherry onthis, it is that Jill has to be seeing thisn and wondering where she went wrong, because Kendall is an "original" girl and it is her turn, she deserves it more.
  13. I have to wonder what show other people thought they were watching? Last season I was a bit squicked out with some of the comedy scenes because they were so close to the truth of the lucy ethel comedy being sick behavior. Sometimes this show triggered a reminder of something I did wrong. Yes I stalked (thoughts of revenge also) someone for a short period of time because they were gaslighting/lying/using me and I needed to know the truth, no it was not my "lying eyes". But once it was confirmed, I stopped. Still that behavior is a sickness, I felt over the top doing that. This season with the illness in the open, It is almost calming to me. But from the first show, I knew there was something wrong with Rachel and it gave it a darkness with the humor.
  14. I purchased the Omaha steak deal it was like 60% off. MY family liked it, but now I keep getting catalogues from the, too expensive.
  15. I think the puppy is a perfect representation of how Josh is completely not thinking, A puppy is a responsibility, you only want to give to responsible people, not everyone is a dog person especially a city girl. It is a TV fix, in real life it does not fix anything. I think TV is probably where Josh gets ideas, he is not exactly a deep person. On the other side the puppy would serve another purpose, tying Rebecca to Josh, Seeing it she would remember Josh, Perhaps he is not ready to give up being idolized or Rebecca either. One of the things I like about this show is everyone has something, no one is perfect. Right now I think that miss Millennial is probably the only one sided character, everyone else has shown different sides of themselves and flaws.
  16. any time Kripke sees a woman, he is a jerk.
  17. ha, maybe it was not all scripted.
  18. or there might be an injury, is it being discussed on instagram?
  19. I guess you have to understand the times. In many ways I regret the cruelty I feel I felt towards my cousin with down syndrome. I never hit her or bad mouthed her and I always listened when she talked, but I tolerated her rather than connecting, and that is so obviously wrong and cruel today. I have to give some of the perspective. This all took place before Willowbrook scandal that broke the ways we connected with children with disabilities or disturbed adults for the matter. It mostly occurred n the 30's into the 60's. When a person had a child with down syndrome, they put it in an institution run by the state and never looked back or visited, it was no longer their child or responsibility. there were multiple reasons for doing it. Social pressure of people who wanted only cute little children around. Mind yo I had lots of friends that suffered with Polio and it's after effects. But that was OK because they still had fully functioning brains. When my Aunt had her baby, it was her 6th child, She was a good catholic, but she had her tubes tied so that she and her family could work with their Child with Downs. The taught her because schools would not have her, it was not easy, but she did learn to read. She could not speak clearly, but she could function. Her 9 sisters were in an uproar, it will bankrupt her family, it would take away and be a burden to their other children. No one wanted her invited to parties because she was over weight but even as an adult wanted to climb into people's laps. My aunt and her family pretty much did it all with no help from a usually very helpful family. My family were good people, but they invaded my thinking as well. I didn't want her around. My aunt died very young probably from all the stress, then my Uncle died when their house burned down but all the children got out. The youngest daughter took on full time care of her sister, and still the family was not there. It was how people thought even years after willowbrook when no one abandoned their children any more. The mindset of not accepting the "r*******" or mentally ill still existed for certain generations. It was wrong, It was abusive, but it was what happened. And that is why they would not be visiting the sister/aunt. For reference, there was a daughter of the Kennedy's who had the money to afford special care, Joe Kennedy took the daughter who had mental issues and put her in a hospital and had them give her a lobotomy so she would be easier to handle, and the family was to not visit her. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willowbrook_State_School
  20. anti anxiety meds put me to sleep. fell asleep driving once, hit a median. I had an crazed constantly panicked boss who wanted me in every meeting he was so I could be a sounding board to him at the same time kept me piled up with work anyway, not all pills work the same way for different people. As naomi said though she just wanted to be able to talk to Rebecca and it does take a while for those meds to take effect. But if she had brought in a doctor, Rebecca would have fled.
  21. you have to understand , it is not about the contestants anymore, it is about the ......... stars!!!!! They never understood the appeal of the show and each and every step is further away from what drew people to it, the torture scene of perform or not perform of last year was pretty horrendous.
  22. is that a one armed woman? or is it "style"?
  23. irreplaceable is a beyonce song, hope no one mixes up just who is touring when buying tickets. <sarcasm> here are some of the unbelieveable prices https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/2628120/the-irreplaceables-tour-featuring-the-girls-from-dance-momsniakendallchloekalani-tempe-marquee-theatre?cobrand=luckymanonline and here is the description. http://stage.aeglive.com/events/view/344793
  24. OK, I said what I said about fiber glass to explain the models unhappiness, Of course, the episode designer should have eliminated it. i don't know if Kentaro knew how uncomfortable it could be. I jsut thought I would mention it. As to the person who did not like the mention of Amazing race, the whole thing with a manual has become short cut language among reality watchers as something you would be an idiot to not do and yet every year there is at least on couple who does not know how to drive a manual which is usually the car of choice on this particular show or maybe in non USA countries. Not everyone might get it, but I think a number of people here probably get the reference.
  25. Not a Brandon fan, do not see innovative in his stuff, Just see straps on things we have seen before, nothing like having an anonymous runway and there is Brandon's' straps, ha ha . This day his skirt looked like a terribly short poodle skirt, including the stripes. How many times have people almost been kicked out because some but shows through short skirt, but for Brandon it is ok because he is so "innovative" even though I Have seen the same thing before with straps The thing with Kentaro's model is that the fire hose had fiberglass in it, that can cause a nasty rash, not good for a model and it is really horrible on the skin. Some materials should have not been included or Kentaro should have made an undergarment for his model like Michael did.
