  1. Don't be sorry, as you said I just asked for opinions. I have mine, you have yours. It's ok. Not here to start a fight. And I never said I don't like Arrow anymore, I like it less, that is true. I walked away from the shows before, I don't have problems with that. We are here to discuss, we don't have to agree all the time. And I wasn't demand it to be canceled, it will come to natural end, after all. I just want to be the good end.
  2. This is probably unpopular opinion, but I really would like for Arrow to end in season 6. On some kind of high note. Whatever TPTB said, this is again season for introducing new spin-offs: Vigilante, Wild Dog and maybe someone else in 5B. Writers aren't just interested anymore in stories for core characters: or they're ignoring them (their POVs), regressing them for plot purposes (to make the rooms for others countless recurring characters) AND above ALL - they're telling the same story over and over and over again. It feels like creative black-hole. It's time to wrap up GA story. What do you think?
  3. Well, well, something for everybody. Timing for that O/F spoiler is interesting.
  4. NIce! I was kidding about Ray "The Trophy". I believe in equality, let him also have Palmer Technologies. :)
  5. I guess, EBR/Felicity wasn't that important character in season one, for the writers. She is probably just trophy wife for Ray here, well I hope not. I want Smoak Technologies. Imagine if Felicity is milliard mogul here, and Ray is trophy husband?! GIVE ME THAT SHOW! She will lead rebel on non-AU, I doubt she'll have much dialog in this AU. This is Queen family reunion, and I am ok with that. Just less LL, pretty please...
  6. I would take Ray over Detective BF everyday. God, look what writers have done to me, now I LIKE Ray! Unacceptable! They do look good together. I always liked their chemistry. Susan Thompson is soooo beautiful! Glad to see her, she deserves to be in this milestone episode. I must applaud EPs for bringing her back, even for this "over the top scenario" with aliens.
  7. As told by main EP Marc Guggenheim, they don't care about opinions. Unless it is from ComicBook.com
  8. http://screencrush.com/arrow-vigilante-review/ by Kevin Fitzpatrick Snippet: ........ "In any case, it bears repeating that these Flash and Arrow games of figuring out which characters are under which masks are no where near so substantive as the writers seem to believe, and the fact that Thea and Quentin so quickly dismiss the possibility of his blackouts (where last week they were presented as a viable twist) tells me that storytelling engine is fast running out of gas. They’ve likely also taken Quentin’s alcoholism as far as it can go, so hopefully rehab sticks a more permanent pin in that storyline, rather than keeping Quentin and Thea so isolated as they’ve been. And watch those shoulder-touches, guys! Starting to feel a little funky. “Vigilante” felt notably thin all around, between Diggle’s brief interludes of anger at missing his son’s birthday (you mean Lyla didn’t volunteer to visit him?), Oliver having a flirtatious drink with Susan Williams, or spending a few stray scenes with Dolph Lundgren in flashback. In that case at least, I’d guess the intent of Kovar partnering with the Bratva was to bend Oliver’s perspective closer to the amorality of his Season 1 return, or perhaps remind viewers of Season 4’s Taiana, who … nope, already forgot. I’ll grant that Season 4 did the lion’s share of exploring Evelyn’s backstory, but good grief, if Season 5 hasn’t been strangely inconsistent with the character. I’m still waiting for an answer to her inquiry about dating team members, and still creeped out by both her moon-eyes at Oliver last week, and skintight dress this week. 17, guys! .....
  9. Thnx @tv echo Finally, the critics started to notice inconsistency with writing.
  10. Thank you all for the recap/reviews! It's appreciated.
  11. Lol, the good one :D I bet she does!
  12. I am sure, in one moment, Reporter girl will bringing Mr. Mayor a lunch on break, in the office. Probably sandwich.
  13. Q? Is THIS Oliver's perfect world? I mean, is he dreaming about this scenario? Or aliens playing with his mind? Why would they think this is his perfect world? Am I overthinking this?Probably....
  14. Hahaha, you're right, THAT was the worst. If anything I looking forward to SA's acting in this one, especially in "loving scenes". You can do it, SA, I believe in you! :D
  15. Can't wait to see loving couple at the wedding! *said no one* Seriously, I expecting something really good what they're not spoiling it, after insult to the eyes after reading description(s).
  16. Me thinks he's staying for next season or more, it would explain his arrogance and hard PR pull. EP probably have big plans for him, and he knows.
  17. It'c complimentary list, that's for sure, but how compare someone like Lady Gaga, Shakira etc., each with more than 60 million followers on twitter, and they're actually wordwidely popular for someone like SA, who I wouldn't even know if I didn't' watch the show. He isn't THAT popular, whatever his stans think of him. Is there possibility for his PR management to pay something like this? Not for win but the fact he is on the list is good enough PR, in my book. I don't really understand all this business/PR/fame stuff, like I still can't explain myself the success of Justin Bieber, and I never ever in my life heard not one of his songs, even on radio, and I am avid listener of radio (maybe it's my country, but again he just sold full stadium in my town, so again, confused.)
  18. I legit think they're trying new pairings, to see what'll stick.
  19. Shame, really, because I think writers aren't aware of treasure they're having in Olicity and losing it as we speak, because of very bad writing and decisions. For the second, I thought Oliver&Felicity could be up there with the epic pair of all pairs John/Aeryn (Farscape). Now, I don't think so. Shame... :( what could have been... p.s. still hoping, but, hope is fading, with each new episode, and with every new EPs interview.
  20. What a company :) is he a really social media celebrity, huh?
  21. Interesting read, especially this part: "... it takes more than just ratings for a TV show to survive to see another season. Networks are now looking at online, on-demand, and streaming viewership; awards appeal; social-media audiences; and international sales, among many other factors".
  22. I don't know anymore what writers are doing with Oliver, maybe he isn't suppose to be in any healthy relationship. I still can't forgive him for not visiting F when she was in hospital, in my opinion very low moment for Oliver's character.
  23. That's the thing: I don't believe writers want him to change. Even Diggle said to Oliver in the same episode: "don't ever change". On another note, I don't think Oliver needs to change for others people or in this case, for Felicity, I don't think she even wants that, she just accepted him as he is and decided he isn't what she looking for in romantic partner. But to really love someone means accepting certain flaws and gains. SO maybe they both just need a better understanding of each other, and accepting each other flaws. And yes, I agree on reading Oliver, again, maybe it's script, maybe it's actor choice. It does look like he is annoyed with jokes the most of times, but again, I am also not a fan of what the writers are doing to Felicity. But wrong thread for that.
  24. in that case, I would prefer if writers would just stop writing this "mature, it'all fine scenes" in future, and spare us of watching them. What was point of that scene, anyway? Some people saw snark, but I didn't.
