I need to see at least 2 more episodes before I give my judgment about direction/storyline in season 5. RE: 100 episode aka love letter episode, if I learn something for past few years, G is delusional in own reception how some stories are received. I already said it will all depend how S/E would play their scenes. Does anyone think there is order above, DC or CW TPTB to cancel/suspense olicity in season 5? for whatever reason. Judging by big lack of PR for term olicity, even by writers itself, who in the past were pro, now you have EP/writers saying they are writing away from romance (olicity). I am sure there will be romance. Just no olicity. What do you think? Maybe EBR (I hope not!) is leaving and they need establish new romance/storyline. Maybe retcon with Lauren isn't coincidence, maybe is it Flashpoint and in new timeline, L is/was actually saint, and "Ollie" loved her and she been love of his life, I don't know, I just trying to explain sudden arise of "sainty" L, and her potentially permanent comeback on Arrow in 5B. Berlanti did said in one interview regarding changes in Flaspoint: you'll find out a few over the first couple of episodes some of the mild [effects]. They're not significant, but they become a little bit more emotionally significant," So F loves her BF, and O discovers suddenly "lost love" for L. Just speculation. God, I feel like we talking more about L now when she is dead, than when she was live and on show.

RE: map, it's Balkan, I know, I am from it :D shout out to my country (Croatia). Just watched episode and I like it. Just camera was weird in the beginning. Thea got a mini characters pov and Lance is finally finding own place in Arrow, maybe? Felicity and Oliver work well and can someone tell mi which song played when she was in loft? I like the song...

Yeah, I just went to YT to check it, and he actually says that it isn't his fault, lol, these writers, It's like sometimes they don't watch own show. Or another theory: it IS retcon! And I wonder what else they decide to rectcon as result of famous Flashpoint.

Few recap stand up remark: 1. Everyone thinks Oliver is slacking off as mayor in favor of his old party boy lifestyle - just like in season 1. 2. Oliver spent the entire hour in denial about Thea and Diggle rejoining Team Arrow . 3. Felicity eventually finally wore him down about recruiting some new members. 4. Corruption in SCPD. 5. Oliver is still blaming himself for Canary death, and it’s making him the most ruthless version of himself - again back to season 1 6. Quentin was inspired to keep moving forward instead of going backwards, so he decided to help Oliver clean up the SCPD with a few officers that he trusts. 7. New Canary to be trained in future. Casting is probably underway. 8. Felicity is very in love with Detective Malone, who may or may not be one of corrupted cops. I think he isn't. And bonus - Oliver maybe isn't aware of his existence? 9. New Anti-Crime Unit. 10. Interesting flashback storyline. Regarding Wendy interviews, my guess episode 5 is clarity for Olicity in sense of finally moving on, romantically. Just what my guts telling me.

Maybe for us, but if TPTB want this Canary to be new love interest for Oliver and maybe finally fulfill canon romance. Guessing...

Catching up the spoilers... wow, so.much.is.happening. And not good stuff. Dead are alive again, such a SURPRISE! *not*. I hate when show uses reset button and I think we have reset with Flashpoint. They can do what ever they want now. Including re-make/remodel some emotional stuff with certain characters.

If I may add to this perfect assertion, when Oliver chose to send his kid away, without any input by Felicity, he inadvertently send her a message that he doesn't want have kid with anyone, including Felicity, because is "not safe" not immediately at least, and this is something that you need to discuss with person who you wanna marry. He made things so much worse with that decision, but you already covered that :) yeah, he IS moron, imho.

*jumps in speculation about BF* ... I think BF is cop guy Malone (Tyler Ritter), my speculation based only on conclusion that he followed only EBR on twitter from the main cast, so thin ice speculation :) so ergo he maybe had scene only with her, see, my logic is pure. I would like to be Barry, just for comedic reasons. Further on cop theory, detective Malone is police connection (Lance isn't in police anymore, is he?) so writers need someone in PD and I think there is good storytelling potential for Felicity (individually) and with team Arrow , and I am interested in that potential. We shall see... p.s. I think Tyler Ritter is cute :) so I am biased.

I practically grown watching movies with him, as my father was big time watcher of this kind trash movies, and trust me, he don't talk to much, just fights and growls. Just like all Steven Seagal, Spencer Bud, Van Damme types of movie. As long as he don't speak too long, I think we are ok. Hey, Arrow could got an actor of much worse caliber, like Seagal :) so yeah...

RE: O/F in this season, if Oliver gets LI (later in stories, or maybe Sara if flashpoint had some influence) I think then there is real possibility/desire by TPTB to "cancel" Olicity. I honestly believe it all depends on how SA and EBR will play scenes between each other - only then we will get some idea in what direction they as characters are planning to go. On BF front, I love Felicity more than I care about Oliver (I know, I know... this is story about him bla bla... but I love Felicity and stayed because F, their chemistry was just bonus), so as long as she is in picture, I am in as viewer.

Not happy also about this KC deal. I was sure we are done with this character, and I was mildly interested in season 5, as I stopped watching in the middle of season 4, because of pure apathy for stories, lack of time for failed shows and discovery of new more interesting shows. SO now I watching/searching spoilers to see is there any news of interesting storylines... so far looking no good. Btw long time lurker :) thank you all for interesting posts. I enjoy reading after every episodes what this forum offers.

Hey, first time here. Why there aren't more stuff in this forum about this great show?? I adore this show. It has everything I love, good storytelling, great actors, time traveling with some sense. I just wanted come here and drop hai :) looking forward to new episode.
