  1. What kind of a guy has no idea that following a girl wearing only a towel into an empty room isn't exactly a comfortable situation? Ovi just followed Christie in and plopped down on a bed, while she's awkwardly picking up her clothes to change into, like they're just settling in for a convo. She actually had to say something about needing to figure out a system for getting dressed before he got a clue.
  2. I am one of those who had the opinion that the three TAR teams were excluding Victor and Nicole because they weren't a TAR team. For myself, I based my opinion on what was shown on this episode of the show. I didn't base it on podcasts, Twitter, interviews, or anything else. I then posted my opinion in this thread, the thread for this episode of the show. If there is information out there that goes against what was shown in the episode, then it's nice for people to pass on that information. Maybe that would change some opinions on what happened. But to insult people by inviting them to have a bunch of seats, because information gathered from beyond the show's episode casts a different light on things seems a bit rude.
  3. I get teams helping each other for mutual benefit, because you're best buds with another team, etc.. The problem I had with the final 3 TAR teams helping each other at final 4, was that it seemed like the main purpose was making sure that team "not one of us" didn't make it to the final 3 as opposed to making sure your pal did. I was disappointed in that. As for the coding roadblock, as BarneySays noted above, the person performing the roadblock is to be chosen before the clue is read and the details of the challenge are known. Roadblocks are purposely done that way. Colin giving that info to Tyler and Korey went against how the game is meant to be played. That bothered me. Aside from all that, it's final 4. Helping should be over. You should be doing everything you can to make sure you're as far ahead of other teams as you can get, not putting time and energy into trying to keep another team out of the final 3.
  4. Maybe it's just too casual for a high dollar yacht.
  5. It probably has less to do with outworking someone, and more to do with noncompliance with labor laws. Companies have found themselves in a lot of trouble and have been made to pay back wages to employees who chose to not take their breaks. I think that's why some companies are really rigid with their break policies. On topic, Mila has the right to her beliefs, and everyone else has the right to choose not to associate with her if they find her beliefs offensive. From what I saw, Hannah was dealing with her professionally in the course of their jobs, but didn't want anything to do with her otherwise. Nothing wrong with that.
  6. This episode reminded me of a story I read a couple of years ago. The mother in that case was a neonatal nurse who gave birth in the hospital she worked in. It seems like maybe too many complaints are brushed off as "normal". The story is below. It goes without saying that it's a sad story. https://www.rd.com/health/healthcare/american-women-die-childbirth/
  7. I'll have to make sure my Below Deck Med season recording on the DVR isn't going to record it.
  8. Typical POS rationalization. Of course it's her fault, nothing at all to do with his scumbag behavior. Nope, nothing at all.
  9. I've always thought of vocal fry and up-speak (along with the annoying exaggerated glottal stop) as affectations. I just want to give them a glass of water and tell them to stop asking so many questions. As for Raquel, she speaks so slowly and her voice is so quavery, it's difficult to listen to. I don't know if it was much worse during the reunion than it is normally on the show, but I hope it's just nervousness in front of the cameras. Speaking isn't really that difficult.
  10. I grew up there. Must have changed since I moved.
  11. I think that the problem with Sandy is that she's a socially awkward person who doesn't know she's socially awkward.
  12. Also, it's when someone shows you who they are... I'm sure Corrine and Eliza would tell you they were great. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. I hope everyone believes the Afghanimals 😉 On another note, what's up with cutting out a challenge that directly affects the finishing order? At least show us a condensed version, and cut out a talking head or two.
  13. What's interesting is that we see so many parents on the news, etc. talking about how they've endlessly lectured their kids about being 100% respectful to the police, always having their hands up in plain sight, etc. because they have to, because the police are so horrible and, of course, their children always behave this way. Where are all of these kids?? Some of them are respectful, polite and compliant, but most of them are... not. Is this like how most parents believe that their kids don't ever drink or have sex?
  14. What Wendy should do is not talk too much about the divorce right now. She should wait until it's final, and all of their business ties are severed, then write a book about the whole story to earn back some of the money he'll be taking in the financial settlement. With New Jersey not being a no fault state, will his infidelity play a part in the division of assets and spousal support? She made it clear in today's show that the no fraternization with the people who work there rule, as well as the estrangement from old friends, was all on Kevin. I like the shade she's throwing. I really thought the book she was holding(The Mister) was going to be a story about a cheating POS, but it's just another trashy sex book by the author of the 50 shades books. Then again, I haven't read it so, depending how the story goes, it could still be another jab at Kevin.
  15. If it went into an ATM, the date on the check probably wouldn't be an issue.
  16. So, Lindsay's dad told her that if she wanted a car at 16, she would have to pay for it and the insurance, and that equals her basically supporting herself since she was 14?? I knew she was a drama queen, but sheesh!
  17. I think the Friday shows are taped, so probably not until Monday. Maybe being sober for a bit allowed her to see how truly unlivable her life had become. That, or the new baby her husband had with the side ride. She's going to have a rough time of it for a while, especially since it seems she allowed her husband to get rid of anyone close to her, but I hope she still has a few people to lean on.
  18. I don't know exactly how rehab works, but I don't think you take the life disrupting step of living in a sober house instead of your home to deal with a drug abuse problem you kicked years ago. That makes zero sense. I know she didn't want it public, and it sucks to have it out there, but out there it is. She should just be honest enough to not BS us that this is strictly due to past drug use, especially when she's promoting her drug abuse help foundation. She's already admitted to her living arrangement, maybe being truthful about the real reason could help someone in a similar situation.
  19. If Stassi was having a great time and wanted to stay and party with everyone, would it be okay if Beau demanded that she leave with him and go to their room?
  20. I could be remembering wrong, but haven't other people been asked if they have been drinking/are drunk when they're showing their ass? Now, I know that's the last thing you should ask someone who is under the influence, but I think it's been done before to others.
  21. At the beginning, I thought the contestants were choosing where to start ( they might have even said or implied that), but toward the end, I thought maybe the show was really picking the order. It makes more sense for the show to pick, otherwise we might be seeing the same couple of obstacles over and over when the contestants pick the easier(?) ones first and don't get through more than 1 or 2. I hope the contestants improve, I was thinking they would be getting much further than they have so far. I think Tebow is fine, for me the lack of excitement is coming from knowing during the first challenge that there's no way the contestant is getting anywhere near the top prize.
  22. Whatever her underlying problem might be, alcohol tends to make her rather vicious. So, while substance abuse might not be the only reason for her behavior, it does seem to exacerbate whatever other problems she may have. She needs to take a look at that.
  23. Good for her! I'm glad she recognized she had a problem and is working on a healthier life. Maybe she should pass her mirror around.
