  1. Regarding the picture in the post. Some people have an innate coolness. They can pull off the most outrageous looks and they make it look good just because. Call it flair, panache, whatever. They just have it. Then there are those that are so desperate to be thought of as cool that they try to do the same, but just wind up looking like idiots. (And giving everyone a raging case of second-hand embarrassment.) Tom seems to be very confused as to which one he is.
  2. So he's saying he initiated it. Was this before or after he was "in love" with Rachel? Did his side dish know he was still hungry for the main dish?
  3. I would think that sellers would just add the cost of the new tax to the sales price.
  4. Wasn't she up front about that? I don't remember her hiding that from Tom, but I could be remembering wrong.
  5. On rhobh, when they brought on Camille Grammer, there was a party where she was skankin' all over all of the women's men. I remember thinking how rotten that was. Now I'm thinking at least she was up front about it. Rachel is worse.
  6. I'd like to thank you all for your obsession. This way, I only have to come here for all the info😁
  7. No, he quit. If I remember correctly, he did his best to convince the other players with him at the challenge he couldn't do to quit also.
  8. Angela knew or should have known that if you choose to not do a challenge (quit), you're going to be disqualified. It shouldn't have been a surprise. But she seemed to carry around a whole lot of entitlement, so that may have had something to do with it. And, full disclosure, I can't stand Angela, so I'm not inclined to cut her any slack on not understanding that there is a big difference between doing the task until you're timed out and just deciding not to do it. I agree with you on Desi. That sucked, and I wish she was able to stay in. Still, there were 4 women left in the challenge and Sarah was the only one that completed the race. The other women chose not to finish the tasks. To me, that's an unqualified win.
  9. So, being the only female willing to suck it up, gut it out, push through the pain and exhaustion and NOT QUIT, is winning "by default?" Okay...
  10. Live PD is coming back on Reelz as On Patrol: Live premiering sometime this summer. Hosted by Dan Abrams, it will air Friday and Saturday nights 9pm-12am. YAY!!!
  11. If Eboni has an abscess, why can't she see a medic? That's not something that should be ignored. There shouldn't be any reason she should have to make the choice of either not getting treatment or leaving the game.
  12. For one thing, CR is a comedian. He makes jokes. People in the audience are very often the butt of those jokes at these award shows. Comics also make on the fly comments about what they're observing. Things that others may think, but would never say. Comics actually say it. This particular joke, taken on its face, wasn't even particularly mean. He didn't make a joke about her losing her hair, or having bald patches showing on her scalp, nor did he (reportedly) even know about her hair loss issues. It was a joke about her shaved head. A style choice. She looked more "We are not amused" than hurt by it. This is all said because some have the idea that CR is at least partially at fault for this whole pile of garbage because he was being mean. I don't think he was either at fault or mean. WS thought the above was deserving of an assault. He got up from his seat, went up the steps and struck CR, then returned to his seat and continued to be classless jerk. His "tearful apology" during his acceptance speech was a self serving justification, and the "apology" issued to CR the next day, that some call a real apology, was again a "sorry, but your actions made me do it" pile of "not my fault" garbage. Also, I don't get that he's being applauded for controlling himself for all these years without being violent before this. Most of us go through our whole lives managing not to hit anyone. If it's that tough, maybe he needs some help.
  13. I think people do things like this for the same reason people drive stupidly expensive showy cars and wear stupidly expensive designer clothes, shoes and bags. "Look at me and be impressed!" For some people, their self worth seems to be dependent on believing other people are envious of them. 🤷‍♀️
  14. I don't think it's unpopular at all. We all tuned in to see the idiotic escapades of a bunch of nitwits, not baby central with all the tired and oh so not funny baby hijinks.
  15. We made it maybe 10 minutes into the episode before we canned it. James' personality is ugly and not fun to watch. It's painfully tedious to watch Raquel try to make her thoughts talk. Tom & Tom try way too hard. That's about as far as we got. It just isn't fun trash tv anymore.
  16. I wonder if Suzanne's husband still works there. You'd think that they wouldn't want both of their incomes to be dependent on Wendy's show, especially the way it's been going for the last couple of years.
  17. "James has been sober for two years now, but smokes pot every day" I don't think they quite get it.
  18. Sandy Schwartz and go beachy?
  19. It's been a while since I've watched The Mentalist, but I remember thinking that Simon Baker was over the show a couple of seasons before it ended. I thought the same about Jonny Lee Miller and Elementary. Both shows hung on longer than they probably should have.
