According to IMDB, Alana is supposed to be in every episode this season. So, does that mean Hannibal didn't kill ANY of the people he left in a pool of blood except for Abigail? Man, he is slipping. I don't want to see Alana as Margot's girlfriend. I've seen way too many TV shows make a woman switch sides with no warning. And always a woman, because as Barney Stinson put it, "Every woman is just two drinks away from a girl-on-girl adventure." I effing HATE that. If they really HAVE to do it, I hope they set it up that Alana was always bi and it just never came up. But another possibility is that Alana will replace Molly. In the books it was Molly, not Will, who was always rescuing dogs, and they had Alana taking up rescuing dogs last season.

No, but she is the only person he loved. Good question, I wonder if they'll explain that. She had no connection to Mischa in the books - I can't see Hannibal even telling her about Mischa. It sounds like they're changing it so Hannibal and Chiyoh were closer. I don't think they were even friendly. I could be remembering wrong.

I just heard about the cookbook! I can't wait!!! I just printed out some recipes from her blog. Lomo Saltado - You can do this one vegetarian with portobello so I'm gonna make ALL my friends eat it. Tandoori Liver - I probably will have to eat this all myself. No one I know will touch it. Lung and Loin Bourguinonne - Plenty of Asian and Mexican grocery stores here that probably have lung, but roommate won't eat it so probably just loin. Roast Veal stuffed with Spinach and Mushrooms - I'll eat almost anything, but nothing endangered and not veal. This will have to be pork loin again.

Mads has quickly become my favorite actor. Right after discovering "Hannibal," I rented "Charlie Countryman." He is actually way scarier in that than as Hannibal! I've seen everything of his I could rent at Blockbuster (before they closed) or Redbox, and I've got a one or two more queued up on Netflix.

I think this episode was the first time I was ever disappointed in this show. I can't for the life of me understand why Bedelia is involved in this. It seems like they're ONLY doing it because Gillian Anderson was available. I'm also concerned what they're going to have Hannibal do in the 6th season since they've done like half of the third book already.

Knowing someone is mentally ill doesn't always make it easier to deal with them.

The lead up was slow but the actual scene, with Stella rushing to the KILLER and screaming for help for HIM, while completely ignoring the guy she's sleeping with, that was just chilling. It really showed us the depth of her obsession with him.

Well, before that ever happened, we had the ice-fishing (In Vierginia!) scene with Jack and Will, so I'm not sure the viewer was ever supposed to be under that impression. I wasn't.

I think Alana has to be alive because Bryan Fuller is so smitten with that actress.
