SM may not be the world's best actor but have to give her credit, when it comes to crying, screaming and all that - she goes all in and doesn't hold back. 🙂 I could like Sasha and Cody but they need to get the paternity thing out in the open. They can't really redeem Cody until he comes clean.

Well, better Esme than Joss or Trina (imho). Or a geriatric pregnancy for one of the other characters. 🙂 I did like Elizabeth talking to Esme and beaming at the giant cute baby. We never got as many scenes as we should have where Esme learned about her non-BSC relatives. I suppose a few lines of dialog is all we're going to ever get.

I'm thinking that either Gladys or Dr. Evil is on the short list for guest of honor at a murder mystery. As long as Sasha isn't the accused, it's fine by me. 🙂

I don't usually watch repeats but did catch yesterday's. It isn't the greatest idea to remind us of how much we've lost. Liesel and Scott being cute, Victor and Ava being devious, Nik and Spencer having a bonding moment before Spencer learns that Nik and Esme slept together. I even liked Terry and Yuri getting Leo's love potion. (No comment on Carly and Drew steaming up the boat house.) I do appreciate that the substitute writers are moving things along but the show is so grim now in comparison.

I agree but my enthusiasm is a bit iffier, as the actors played very cute grifter siblings towards the end of OLTL. But if they can liven up GH, it might be worth repressing those memories. Most of the couples are duds right now. (Btw, how did that happen?)

Well, I didn't see that ending coming at all. I prefer MC but will take any movement in this story. Not sure I like what this means for Austin (and Ava) though, since he and Nik seem pretty chummy at the end. Oh lord. I suspect you're right. We can't have nice things, can we?

Your behind the scenes account was a fun read. It's such a beautiful location.

I wasn't overly fond of his Baker's Beauties shtick but respected his commitment to animals and for using his platform long before others did the same. I'm pretty sure anyone over the age of 15 with a tv has it embedded in their brain to get their pets spayed or neutered. 🙂 No offense to Drew... he says it too but it isn't quite the same.

I don't mind them bringing in old ABC soap characters occasionally - if they make sense. It's not like its a new concept for the shows to intersect, like Linda Dano bouncing from show to show looking for her daughter or Bianca trying to find Miranda. (I'm still a little befuddled by how/why they made Delia Ava's mother though.) So connecting Jack to Martin's 3rd ex is okay to me. Wife #3 has to come from somewhere and Pine Valley is as good as any other place. It's stunt casting but mostly harmless. What I hated was bringing on a character like Starr Manning to eat the show. But yeah, the regular cast is too bloated. The stories are too fragmented and by the time they resolve I don't care anymore.

I have the plain blu-ray on order. It was only $2 more than the digital copy. I really loved B5 once upon a time, so it was more for a nostalgia fix. (Though without so many of the original cast voices, I'm not sure how successful it will be.)

I'm not the only person who would love to see SC back at GH but the only thing worse than the writing for Liam is the writing for Quartermaines on GH. 🤷‍♀️

I liked LA Law back in the day, though I don't remember much about it. But in my experience from other shows, music rights are usually the culprit when shows are missing.
