  1. It is so watered down they didn’t even need an actual heart crush to jump start it this time. Over the seasons they made the dark curse a complete joke. Which is sad, it was supposed to be the worst thing, unstoppable and evil. It started with Snowing not paying the price in season 3. I would have preferred that Zelena using the dagger force Rumple to use Neal’s heart to enact the curse. I mean they were killing him off anyway, give Rumple a reason to go off the deep end and completely give in to the darkness. Let him be the monster at the end of the book.
  2. The lack of chemistry between them was the killer. Not even lack, negative chemistry, is that a thing?
  3. It’s because they were all traumatized in one way or another. I was hoping season 7 would have been about the wish real folk.
  4. Just watched Tiny on my rewatch. At the end Charming naturally comments if he’d have been bad if raised by King George like James was. This is a normal response and yes the likely outcome. Mary Margaret states, no, never. (WTF?) that he could never be bad because of his heart. So what these writers are saying is that James, a baby was born with a bad heart and his twin David with a good heart. What kind of nonsense is this? What kind of world view gives us this dialogue? I mean what even?
  5. Ding, ding, ding! You win! Loudest fandom gets the goodies apparently.
  6. When I see him being smarmy all I see is a hurt man throwing up a wall and using sexuality to disarm Emma and protect himself. I think that is why the innuendos scale back a lot as he opens up and becomes more genuine. He wasn’t that way with Milah or Emma in the past so this head canon tracks with his history. He was relatively open and decent on the beanstalk but once she left him up there the smarminess dialed way up.
  7. I’m very disappointed we didn’t get a happy Birthday for her and the cursed one in the wish realm totally doesn’t count. Yet another wish I had for this show twisted and ruined.
  8. I could have bought Hook killing David’s dad if he’d overheard him talking about selling his son. A very simple fix, have them both be at a tavern and David’s dad drunk bemoaning the loss of his son a second time. Maybe Hook saves him from George’s men and takes him to the tavern. The end of the episode is now fixed. 😂
  9. This exactly how it felt to me. Like a slap in the face to fans.
  10. I recall reading that Jane Espenson was running the writers room for wonderland since A&E were managing the main show. I also recall comments that the wonderland writers room was boisterous where the main show room was quiet. I’m going to assume this is because those on the main show had learned not to pushback on any of A&E’s ideas. At least that is my experience in business, a quiet room isn’t a sign of a healthy staff/management relationship.
  11. Watching the Crocodile tonight I realized Moe wasn’t the villain, he was truly trying to save his daughter and she would have been so much better off if he’d succeeded. Sad commentary that is on the show. Same with the flashback, they want us to think Captain Hook is the villain but Rumple is, this whole episode suffers from this reverse morality.
  12. Exactly, for Storybrooke, magic, savior, morality, distance in the EF, realms, timeline. What did I miss?
  13. I didn’t even try to resolve it as I’d figured out already they didn’t know what they were doing. Just reading Adams tweets I knew it wouldn’t make sense.
  14. Agreed, season 7 wasn’t as bad (horrendous) as season 6.
  15. All the things the fans wanted that they put in S6 seemed to literally be the writers gleefully making us regret wishing for it. All the fan service came with a twist, but not the good kind. I still don’t understand why they treated the wedding of a main character as poorly as they did. On a roof instead of Hook’s ship, clothes that don’t represent their characters at all, rings you see in any jewelry store, no flair or character, immediately followed by a curse. Snow’s wedding showed much more character.
  16. It would be nice if they used one of the extra hours to make the finale 2 hours.
  17. As long as they haven’t broken the season into episodes yet and assigned writers they should be fine adjusting to a new episode order.
  18. They could have ended the curse but held off until a later season to bring magic to Storybrooke. They could have still come up with a way to get Emma to the EF since I enjoyed that arc.
  19. Season 2 soundtrack has a track called “To Neverland” that has a variant of Hook’s theme.
  20. I bought 1-2 and the musical on iTunes. But I passed on 7. I was no longer feeling the need to be complete. I do wish they had released season 3 though.
  21. I don’t consider that an unpopular opinion at all. Agree, that and the Hook killing David’s dad were both for cheap drama.
  22. I enjoyed the majority of season 3 excluding a few in 3b but ending after season 3 wouldn’t have been a bad plan.
  23. I’m interested but it’ll be super expensive to get it streaming since I don’t have cable. Hulu + live is $25 a month and I think that’s the cheapest streamer it’s on.
  24. Interesting person he’s portraying. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Cooper
  25. I really love this line. It perfectly describes my relationship with my ex for totally different reasons. (He wanted me to “grow up” and leave fandom things)
