While we are discussing our disappointments, I recently posted on tumblr how watching Lucifer makes me sad about OUAT. As much as I’ve been enjoying Lucifer and seeing Deckerstar get together, I feel an odd sadness and lost opportunity that we never saw Captain Swan’s first time. I mean we don’t even know for certain what season it was in, much less what episode. 😟 Most main characters when they meet their true love the first time is a big thing and is at least inferred. Idek what this show was on about ignoring it the way they did. I can’t think of any other show that skipped the main ship getting together. I tend to think season 4 after the “I’m a survivor” kiss they went back to Hook’s room. That seems the best choice for placement. Idk, it’s just kind of sad.

I do hope they add some extras from the dvds or those specials that would air occasionally at the end of hiatus.

I yielded to temptation and bought a prop. A rubber stunt Hook. Too much money but I knew I’d regret not getting it from the auction house. Once they are in private collections it’s harder to get them. Trying to figure the best way to display it. In a shadow box with a picture of Hook behind it? Then fasten the certificate of authenticity to the back? What picture? I’m thinking a screen shot from the crocodile when he’s leaving for Neverland, the first time he wears the hook. thoughts?

Colin and Bobbie would be super fun. They could play off being mortal Enemies.

I don’t recall any storyline impacted by Jmo’s influence on the writers, but I have read that the relationship between Regina and Henry was definitely Influenced by Lana, she insisted on a better relationship in season two, she claimed they were being anti adoption.

Yeah, I remember that, they were saying he was fired because he harassed a hairdresser on set.

I think a lot of this boils down to A&E having super thin skin and wanting everyone to like them. The same reason they did so much nonsense to appease the twitter mob. I guarantee you if Adam had never been on Twitter there wouldn’t have been all those Emma and Regina scenes if they weren’t baiting that group. I think there would have been a better storyline for CaptainSwan if they weren’t trying to avoid pissing off the SQ contingent in season 6.

I did enjoy it a lot, but I think that’s more due to Lin and Emily than the actual movie. It was so obvious they were enjoying themselves.

Same, my tumblr is still mostly Once, I read almost exclusively CS fic. I did read a few Lucifer fics last year, but there just isn’t the massive quantity of quality works. I don’t feel like discussing any other show. Idk why?

Which is why they did much better with Amazing Stories. They only had to keep consistency within a single episode.

They never used the comedy right in front of them. They could have had an ongoing thing with granny and Hook as he continued to pay in gold doubloons even after granny tells him he can get dollars and not continue to overpay.

Tv shows are always claiming to write “a love letter to the fans” I’ve never felt any accomplished that until last night. I’m still crying over Parks and Rec’s special. it was a perfect 1/2 hour of television. i laughed, I cried, I smiled until my cheeks hurt.

Very glad I skipped this one. Still not sure I can watch the original and enjoy it the same way I once did.

Just reading the synopsis has kind of ruined the original for me. I don’t think I could bear to watch the sequel.

I follow Andrew Lloyd Weber on Twitter. They are discussing that phantom sequel. I find the whole concept of it disgusting but so many women find it so romantic. I guess there really is a market for Rumbelle. Ugh. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to watch phantom again and before Hamilton it was my very favorite.

I have both Netflix and D+ so I’m good either way.

I don’t think Christine loved the phantom, but he taught her as a teacher for likely months and she viewed him as a father figure of sorts before he got all weird on her. I believe she was primarily trying to save Raoul but also felt pity for the Phantom. I don’t think anyone would want her with the phantom given his behavior. The line she sings here is about pity and sacrifice. “Pitiful creature of darkness... What kind of life have you known? God give me courage to show you you are not alone..”
