  1. Definitely pissed off about this news as I do not have Paramount Network. Guess that means I am done with the show as I’m not sure how else I’m supposed to watch it. Wow, that sucks. Big time.
  2. I agree with others in that Stage 1 felt like a huge bummer. It was just a bloodbath with the top ninjas. At least not ALL of my faves went out. Speaking of that. Man alive was I nervous for Drew’s run. And of course they (and even him) had to go on and on and on about how he always completes stage 1 and fully expect him to finish yada yada yada. Thank the good Lord that he made it through. And not only did he make it through he KILLED IT. I was shocked Jake beat his time. They were both insane. I audibly gasped when Ryan Stratis went down on that tire. I don’t know why but I just thought he was going to get through. And then I know he had shoulder problems in the past and I wasn’t sure if it was the same shoulder he fell on. He looked rough but seemed ok when he was shaving Brett’s beard lol. And yes, Brett looks much better without the beard! I bet his wife was relieved. I really wish we’d had at least one or two women complete Stage 1. And I definitely missed Jessie. I’m so bummed next week is the end. ANW has become my all time favorite and I’ll miss it until next year!
  3. He announced his comeback a while ago, I posted a link in the media thread a few months back. I adore him so I’m super excited, hopefully he will have a much more successful comeback than Isaac did! I’ll take Geoff over Isaac any day lol.
  4. Wow that was sad. It was just heartbreaking to watch Joe’s “interview.” Christine doesn’t bother me that much except in that situation. Just cut it short and let him be! I still find the Kid to be a bit cocky but I guess he’s done nothing but back it up so he’s allowed to be. Flip is one of my faves so that was painful to watch as well. Also felt terrible for Alyssa Beird. So wish LaBreck could have finished, she’s was so close! And I’m sorry but I got a chuckle out of Brent Stefanson running out of time as Matt and Akbar made it sound like he was doing too much celebrating during he run. Not that we’d actually know that since they didn’t really show his run anyway. Felt awful for Nick Hanson. So many disappointments! Final thought I have at the moment, I love me some Adam Rayl and Daniel Gil so they made me happy in otherwise bummer of an episode!
  5. I had the same thought. I sure hope he was wearing swim trunks ?? I was shocked that Jon Alexis Jr. finished the course but I was definitely happy for him. I love his friendship with Labreck and DiGangi. As has been said numerous times before, I hate when they have a finisher and barely give them any attention. Poor Ian Dory. Goodness Meagan was SO close! I desperately wanted her to finish. That descent on the Iron Maiden was brutal. I felt terrible for the dude who was in 15th place before Alexis Jr. finished and he got bumped. He looked so broken-hearted :( Is next week the last episode or is Vegas split up over two weeks?
  6. Add me to the laughed at Isaac party... man that was some good TV. ? Trevor lives about 15 minutes from me so I’ll be rooting hard for him going forward. He had a very impressive run! Man I wanted Jesse to finish the course so bad. She still did amazing and I still want to be her when I grow up. Also like everyone else had said, I’m getting beyond tired of the treatment of most of the veterans. They are the reason I watch. I especially HATE how they show one run in the corner during commercials. Frankly I’d rather have it WWWA’d over that.
  7. I know, the Kid also said something like that. He said he had been training every day since the city qualifier and getting better and better. They need to just end that charade. While I found the Kid a little cocky at the beginning (and on Ninja vs Ninja) he is growing on me a bit. No denying he’s killing it though. So I guess the cockiness is backed up. Barclay was awesome, I just love her. Daniel seems unstoppable at this point. He is insane!
  8. I don’t dislike Grant but he’s never been on my list of favorites. But if he really wants to be serious about this he needs to tone it down a bit. Look at Jake Murray (who I ADORE) - he had a disappointing exit last season and this year had a totally different and much more serious attitude. Granted, Jake pretty much saved his antics for the end of the course, but still. I was beyond irritated by Nick Hansen’s treatment. I had no idea how much time had elapsed during his run, so when he fell I wasn’t sure how he stood in relation to the other runs. And then they came back to the show and didn’t mention anything about him!! That was ridiculous.
  9. Shallow note... I’m digging Jake Murray’s new hair. I had a pretty rough day that consisted of a lot of tears. So all the emotional backstories really got to me and there were even more tears lol. Lance has never been one of my faves (keep your shirt on dude) but I’m happy his wife was able to be there. I was hoping to see Meaghan hit the buzzer but she still had a great run. Abby Clark was awesome. It was cute how excited her boyfriend was watching her. Love seeing the women kicking ass this season! Joe was the only one to really come close on the Mega Wall. I wish someone had been able to do it!
  10. Wow, that was fun. The women rocked it and I was very impressed by the new Casey. The fact that Drew supports her makes me like her automatically anyway lol. But she was impressive and definitely reminded me of both Flex and Graff. I adore Najee so I was thrilled to see him do so well. However, IIRC he also had cramping issues on Ninja v Ninja. This concerns me greatly!! I need him to go far! Chris W.’s comeback was also a bit anticlimactic because he competed in Ninja v Ninja. He killed the course though and I’m happy for him. I kinda adored Kindergarten teacher dude, and it was cute how emotional he was after finishing. I feel like I’m forgetting something and I’m sure it will come to me later!!
  11. They show them after the episodes on my station. I watch right on TVland. That’s strange that not everyone would see them!
  12. Yes, she was amazing on N vs N. I like DiGangi just fine but man she carried him in that competition. And I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought I saw Geoff. I wish he would have at least gotten a mention but maybe they don’t want to hype his return until it happens. But I mean, when Kacey shows up she practically gets half the episode devoted to her.
  13. I’m with most everyone else on the Isaac train in that I’m not a huge fan, can’t get over how much better he looks without the facial hair and having clean hair, and I wonder what happened to the girlfriend. She was always a staple on the sidelines so I’m guessing they are kaput. Maybe she didn’t want to live in an actual house with someone he has some money ??‍♀️. On a semi-related note, was that Geoff Britten on the sidelines? I swore they showed him for about 2 seconds after Brian Arnold fell, if I’m not totally crazy. I even rewound and I’m pretty sure... Jesse continues to kick ass. She is my girl crush and I also want to be her when I grow up. On Ninja v Ninja Brandon Mears had to drop out of the competition because there was some type of health emergency with his son. Color me completely shocked that there was no mention of this at all. I mean, I am certainly happy his son seems to be healthy, it’s just that I can’t believe ANW didn’t exploit the hell out of that story. I usually cry at least once an episode- tonight it was the story of the plumber who got the donor tissue meeting his donor’s widow. That one got me. Final thought, I’m disappointed that no one made up the mega wall tonight!
  14. I posted an article in the Media thread, he has announced he’s coming back next season. So so so bummed about JJ. I adore him. I started bawling when his little friend ran to hug him after his (shortened) run. At least he’s got a shot in the Ninja v Ninja final. I always hold my breath throughout Drew’s run. I wish he had been able to make it up the Mega Wall. I really hope he goes far this year. Jessie killed it as usual. She and the other Jesse (LaBreck) are my fave females. Someone was definitely cutting onions in here when the teacher from MSD ran. Just seeing everyone so excited and happy just got to me. Glad he had a respectable run and loved that JJ was training him. Excited that this is moving to Monday so I get my fix earlier in the week :)
  15. I found many portions of that episode to be extra cheesy. Hated the two new world killers (if that’s what they’re called, I really don’t even know what’s going on anymore), they were terrible actresses. @cambridgeguy it was definitely not just you. I have absolutely no idea what happened during that scene.
  16. Younger just posted on FB that Hilary is preggo with baby #2. So I wonder if that means we get to see Kelsey hiding behind giant plants and purses in the near future... (not sure when episodes were/will be filmed).
  17. @VartanFan I have to ask, is your screen name in reference to Michael Vartan? Because if so, he’s been the love of my life since the first time I saw Never Been Kissed. Lol And yes, you hit the nail on the head with Natalie. She does seem to think she’s all that and a bag of chips. Or at least she acts like she does.
  18. I had a crappy day so maybe I’m just cranky, but Natalie Duran bugs me for some reason so I can’t say I was sad to see her go out on the second obstacle. I love when rookies try to bound through the floating steps and totally bite it. Cracks me up every time. Hell, there are very few seasoned vets that even treat the steps that way. Respect the course. I get Adam Rayle and Nick Hansen confused sometimes but I do like them both, so I was happy to see them each win the $10k. I was shocked that Flip (one of my faves) and Grant went out when the did. I definitely think Flip would have made it up the mega wall so that was a costly mistake. Thankfully they are both through to city finals! I’m actually excited about the new Jurassic movie so I didn’t mind the dinosaur stuff. Did Zhanique make it through? I forgot to pay attention to that at the end.
  19. Yes! It was on last week and it was fantastic. I hope you can find it somewhere!
  20. Yes, Karsten made it into the city finals. So never fear, we'll get to see his mom again. Agree to what everyone has said about Kacy. I never had a problem with her but I now have Kacy-fatigue. I am ready for her to go away like yesterday. Daniel Gil is one of my absolute favorites so I was thrilled to see him do so well and make it up the giant warped wall. I had been introduced to "The Kid" during Ninja vs. Ninja as he is on Daniel's team. I get a cocky vibe from him and I haven't decided how I feel about him yet. However, Daniel has clearly taken him under his wing so he can't be all bad right? I also love Barclay so I was devastated that she went out on those stupid tuning forks. Thankfully she made it through to the city finals as well. Did they even show Tremayne Dortch's run? I heard Matt mention him "who we saw earlier" while he was on the sidelines during his friend's run, and I went "what?" I thought maybe Matt misspoke and he would be shown later, but alas, I never saw him. Or did I just black out for his run? I just discovered this show 4 years ago (ironically, Kacy was the one who alerted me to it - I saw her run posted on Facebook and decided to check out the show, and was hooked). Now, I've become a giant fan of so many of these people and I love seeing all my favorites, and making some new ones along the way. I'm so happy my show is back!
  21. She said it when she met Arie. And now it just. will. not. die.
  22. That scene was so ridiculous it completely took me out of the episode. I kept waiting for them to explain how she did that. What a joke!
  23. @Wings ?? thank you for the laugh!! And I agree that it will be Amy!
