My 93 yo Mom spends a lot of time fiddling with her hearing aids. She wears them as little as possible and complains about them a lot. She's a bit on the stubborn side!

I'd thank Kaylee for the information on what marriage is, but she wouldn't know what I'm talking about since that was clearly written by Jill. Plus I've been married almost twice as long as Jilldo & DBD and I don't need advice from a phony baloney Christian. That picture should have come with a trigger warning! Just gross!

I've enjoyed the series too, right up until the very end. I feel like they could have put a bit more info into the finale. Every episode left me kind of freaked out and wondering, as a horror show should. But the final scene left me thinking, "That's it?" I'll still be back for Season 2 if there is one.

My husband didn't have any bruising either. I never have before. Just lucky, I guess! The pharmacist said it happens sometimes.

Mr. BB & I just got home from getting our new Covid vaccines. We did a walk-in and they had only Pfizer, which was fine by us. We brought our vaccine cards and they said they're not doing those anymore. So I told the clerk I guess we'll just put them in our scrapbooks! I feel fine, though a bit like a pin cushion. I'm still bearing a bruise from my RSV shot!

Taking care of said feet requires leaving your toe ring on even if it's cutting off your circulation. Same with the rings on your fingers. It's nice to call attention to your fingers through pointing at whatever it is you are video capturing!

I think the Bates/Romeike drama over being deported to Germany is all their own fault. But I think the underfeeding the newborn stuff is just the internet being overly critical over something they don't know anything about! JMO.

Hmmm. Jill should really change fonts & posting style when she's pretending to be one of her kids.

I can't imagine watching 45 minutes of Jill & company shrieking and simpering and watching Jill's layers of polish on that endlessly pointing finger!

On Reddit today, they are discussing JBoob's reaction to Jill's book. Apparently he is still supporting Gothard and IBLP and thinks the kids owe their lives to Gothard. Of course he's so filled with the love of the Lord, that he also threatens to cut any child who speaks out in support of Jill's book that they will lose their inheritance. As if that's not all going towards lawyers for Josh for his actual criming! I'm beginning to think that JimBob's true god is money and it's galling him that there's no way to get his grubby mitts on Jill's money from the book! I hope she makes a bundle!

I don't think Jim Bob can believe that God's will could differ from Jim Bob's will.

I wonder if this kind of vlog is what the Stew Crew considers their "ministry".

You are not rude, @Scarlett45! I'm sure in her heart bff knows that. You're handling this unexpected turn of events very well, imo. I know you will have a lovely celebration with friends on your special day. You asked about whether kids attended adult outings back in the day. I do remember longing to go along when my older sisters were getting dressed up for a big girl outing, but I don't have any memories of wishing I could join in with my parents and their friends. Maybe it was different because I wasn't an only child...far from it! There was a houseful of kids and we had fun when our parents were out! It was the same with my kids - we always planned fun activities and a fun sitter for when we parents went out. As for making gifts, I loved making cards and pictures for my parents and my Grandma. I commissioned a painting of poppies from my granddaughter when she was about 8. She did a beautiful job and it still hangs in my bathroom!

@Scarlett45 - I'm so sorry this situation might put a damper on your birthday celebration. I hope all goes well and that your bff can find a sitter, make a beautiful cake and that you all have a lovely celebration. I also hope you get a lovely painting from your godchild. You deserve a beautiful, happy birthday!

I have a hard time imagining any Bates teaching English. Just wait until Trace tries to explain the difference between when and whenever...since he sees no difference!
