The mayor openly being so chummy with the ~alleged local crime boss is an awful look and that we're made to think Boyle is the one in the wrong for suggesting that is typical of this show. Do better, Laura. Sonny's heavy sigh/eye roll-esque expression when Carly and Jack and Carly's annoyingly fake laugh walked into the MC was probably the first time I got his stance in a solid year. I can't with Jason. I can't with Sasha.

And every now and then there's a great one. My favorite? Mary Mae Ward singing "Midnight Train to Georgia" with Justus, Luke, and Lucky as her Pips.

Alexis talked about Ragú, "the working woman's friend." Maybe if they'd given that line to someone we know cooks it would have sounded a tiny bit more realistic. That's right! I remember it being ridiculously clunking.

GH participated in that they had Alexis talking about the benefits of Campbell's soup as part of a heart-healthy diet.

I took that last shot of the Michael/Morgan photo as a goddamned threat. Brick looked absolutely ridiculous in that lavender suit--and the notion that he actually thought he was romancing Jordan is laughable. I cannot believe this show is still trying to make SAS happen.

So they're first cousins. They initially thought they were half-siblings. I don't even know what that makes the daughter and grandson of cousins. Charlotte and Sam would be second cousins, so Sam's son would be Charlotte's...second cousin, once removed? I don't know. ETA: Jinx, statsgirl!
