"Tough love" isn't screaming at the addict for the cameras or engaging your friends to discuss her issues, again, for camera, while making yourself a martyr saint. I think true "tough love" for these two would be Kyle CALMLY saying "I'm done. It never ends. It's disrupting my life too much. Until you get help, real help, and stick with it, don't call me, don't have your friends call me. This dance we've been playing for decades obviously isn't helping you, and it's too difficult for me anymore. Best of luck." That might help Kim, but it would do nothing for Kyle's image, so it won't happen.

Yeah, he's a partner, and founded the firm. Taking that $26K would be idiotic, I'm sure it had strings attached ending all further claims, or offering that amount monthly, hoping the dude would die soon. Which was it? Either way, it's not 17 million.

I would have a lot more respect for Kyle if she would simply be honest. Instead of attacking Brandi and Kim and saying OTT things as she screamed at them at the Gay party, and then the endless talking heads about them, just cop to what Brandi said. "Yes, you called me at 2AM, and yes, I told you 'That's just Kim.' and hung up. So what? You have no idea how many times I've been through those 2 AM emergencies, and I'm done. Enough. Kyle has left the building." Even if she didn't admit what I already feel is true, that if Bravo were filming she would have gone? I'd still respect her for just for once in her damn life, being real. Kyle has the right to check out, what bothers me about her is that I think she's using Lipsa to "get" her sister, because she doesn't want the limo heat she went through in the press before. That's just cowardly and spin. Just tell the truth. ONCE. "I've had enough." wouldn't bother me a bit, even though I agree with Eileen. Sometimes you just have had enough, especially with addicts, and you have that right. No question. Kyle would rather attack than be real, and examine things though. Hell, so would Brandi, and so would Kim. As I've said before, these are shallow women that simply are not very smart. Any decent therapist could guide Kim and Kyle if they wanted to get better.

Leann is a complete train wreck. She tweets crap that would freak out ANY mother about a step mother. She wears the weirdest stuff around the kids too, at one of their school games I remember a shot of her in daisy dukes that were half way up her ass, with boobs barely covered. At a school game. With 10 year olds all around her. There are many such instagrams and some seriously deranged tweets from Leann. Brandi may have issues, but Leann is nuts.

I'm making a rough guess here, that 90% of the posts on this episode have Brandi's name in them. Just sayin'. I still say all three of them are assholes. If I really think about it, Kim probably has the best excuse, she's got a horrible disease, she's an addict, and addicts do backslide. I won't mention Brandi's sins because, God knows they have been covered endlessly. That leaves me with Kyle. Kyle doesn't suddenly become a suffering martyr/angel because someone else is an asshole too. Kyle's STILL a mean-girl, immature bitch who has to make everything about herself, and needs a gang to back her up. She hasn't changed at all, she's just getting better at spin, not Vanderpump levels of skill, but she's cunning, and is picking up her game. A thought came to me this morning. IF Bravo had been filming when whatever Kim was saying or doing scared the shit out of Brandi at 2AM, and Kyle got the call, I think Kyle would have fixed her makeup, put on something too tight, possibly sparkly, called BRAVO to arrange filming, brushed out her hair until it shined, and THEN run to Kim's house, camera's in tow. If not that, the next day, she would certainly make sure we heard about how HARD it was for her, but she's such a saint she had to run to help Kim in, for several episodes. As it was though? They weren't filming, and Kyle didn't give a shit. She went back to sleep. Brandi is right about that one. Her reasons could be "been there, done that" but still, she didn't give a shit. I believe that did shock the crap out of Brandi, and that she was scared for Kim. There is a lot of fear in a situation like that, and it can make you angry to be afraid. The Richard sisters are a train wreck. They should have listened to what Eileen was trying to say to them. Drop the bullshit and find the love. Instead it was all verbal finger pointing over who stood up for the other one and on and on and on again some more, as we've seen since this show began. They aren't changing because their sickness works for them.

Tara's right, the recaps on PTV are great, with great gifs and screen caps too. I love all the media on this show, some really well done stuff is out there. Check the media thread for more, oh, and add to it if you find something good! Ha. I'm a junkie for the thoughtful discussion about this show. I keep thinking the open house was a trap. It wasn't the CIA being stupid, they were luring out the KGB. After all, right after they leave, they are being followed. I could be wrong, but I keep coming back to that. If you don't know why Elizabeth couldn't just go to the dentist, you really need to watch a bit closer, they've made it very clear, both in last episode and this one. The FBI sent out an alert, and they are getting endless calls from dentists responding.

One of the recaps (AV club I think) said they don't think Martha is long for this show. I kind of agree. It's playing itself out a bit. Although I suppose Phillip could fake his death, but that sounds like a hassle. I watched the entire dentist scene. Their eyes were amazing, really good work on both parts. Apparently it took 4 hours to film, so they had to maintain that intensity with cameras right IN their faces, in a small room. It was so intimate, and it really showed their connection, after he shut her down earlier. They are a team. Maybe Phillip can win her over to his point of view about Paige? Also, what choice would Paige have? Why didn't Phillip call Gabriel on that? My only nitpick, or biggest one this week. So, they tell her they are spies and want her to join the KGB with them. So, if she has a choice she just says "no thanks." Then what? The KGB is just fine knowing a 14 year old knows their secret? Yeah, I don't think so.

They aren't fighting about anything important, or the addiction issues. They are bickering about bullshit. Oh, and Big Kathy also asked Kim to take care of Kyle. It wasn't one way.

I'd like to see some YOUNG actresses on the show, it's Hollywood after all, they should be all over the place, and work can be hard to find. Many would be too smart to tarnish themselves with something like this, but it's hard to believe NONE would. Especially since so many soaps went under.

Thank you. Why do people keep leaving the last line off of what I said? I'm trying to say that Eileen was TRYING her best to explain that this bullshit routine Kyle and Kim have going on will NOT matter if/when one dies. None of it will matter, only all the time they've wasted fighting. Eileen was attempting to get them to realize the love is more important than whatever slights or piddly shit they are fighting about is, and I get that, and applaud her for it. My comment about Kyle was that she THINKS she knows, but if she really did? She'd drop the bullshit, and the bickering, and so would Kim. That's so wonderful! I think it can go either way. Two different friends had a different father, but while they did track down information and history that both could, bothopted against contacting them. One finally got in touch with three step sisters (well, her daughter did.) It's been a mixed bag. Family, sometimes you just have enough issues with the ones you have to want to invite more in. I think it can go either way with these things. It's scary though, and I think Lisa, Pandy, and Max were pretty real, especially for having cameras on them. Lisa apologizes in her blog for springing that on Pandy, she didn't realize it would impact her that way. I believe her.

I think it's a common worry when you seek this kind of information. Who knows what you may get, or what problems you could add to your life? I've known several people who have found the information (about birth parents, and siblings they never knew) and had to make a tough call. Do they WANT that relationship in their lives? My dad had two other daughters, but we were estranged. I found out their names after he died, and simply sat on the information, didn't contract them, wasn't sure if I wanted the possible hassles. As it turned out last year they found me, and I was very hesitant at first, but they mostly wanted information and were very sweet, and also live far away, so it was intense for a while and is now just a Facebook friends type of relationship. It was scary for me though, and they weren't an unknown parent. I think when you have Vanderpump money, the idea that the family COULD want to get more involved for a possible boon has to be considered. Lisa was probably given information about the mother anyway, since it was a Foster Care adoption. Was the parent abusive, incompetent, simply overwhelmed, a drug addict, or (best case) just too young for a child? Foster Care for a blond blue eyed baby boy seems odd to me, since there is such a huge demand in the adoption world for that. The mother could have gone the private adoption route if it was up to her, or probably even got some money out of it. That makes me think the baby was removed from the home for cause. Or, if the parents were killed, Foster Care would have the child, but the mother seems to have been alive, or why would Lisa wonder if he wanted to contact her? Anyway, I think Lisa and Ken adore Max, he wasn't on before because he didn't want to be on. I think doing this on camera was probably because he wants the money being on the show, or VPR will bring him, so a mini audition for Bravo maybe? Still they were all wonderful together, loved his affectionate "mum" to her and reassuring her.

Yeah, for me it's just the fact that a crotch shot is a crotch shot, it's not somehow WORSE because the woman was on her period.
