  1. What did he say? Was that on the episode, or the live feeds? I'm not surprised Terrance managed to cram a foot in his mouth though.
  2. Yeah, I edited my comment a bit. I think Kyle could target her sooner and he's way more likely to win something than Terrance or Indy. But any of them can go. I'd like to see Taylor or Michael go far.
  3. I got home from a looong day at work to see Daniel's bitter butt get sent out of the house, and read that Taylor won HOH. *chef's kiss* I'd like to see Kyle go next, or Indy or Terrance.
  4. Did Daniel just lowkey try to pull a Dr. Will? The delusion is strong with this one. And he's always has this weird underlying anger going on. It's actually really uncomfortable to watch. He's happy that people can come together after "moments like that"? Meaning moments like his outburst at Taylor? Dude. And no, Daniel the season isn't getting boring, and the collective audience needs a cigarette after that eviction. So thanks for that. Have fun spending bittercakes time with Nicole. Shut the hell up, Jasmine. Damn. You're as annoying as an itchy flea on a nervous dog. Or something. Terrance and Indy can go next.
  5. I spent the entire episode wanting to harness them all in while they were working on the roof. Bear sliding down was so tense. That might be my own fear of heights though. All of the characters are so damn engaging. The spirit continues to be the absolute best. Bear's conversation with Daniel's father was so moving. Danny acting as a friend, teacher, and father figure, in those moments. I honestly don't remember Elora's grandmother from S1. That's a heartbreaking turn though. She just keeps getting hit after hit. I didn't think I'd be saying this after S1, but I hope we see Jackie again.
  6. There's this exit interview - meh. I do appreciate the interviewer bringing up some of the things she said about Taylor. https://parade.com/tv/nicole-layog-big-brother-24-interview
  7. It probably doesn't help that they always film the shows so close together. Let the future Bachelor / Bachelorette get emotionally devastated by a rejection (usually), plus the the chaos of filming for weeks, and then days / weeks later, cast them as the lead in the next go around. How much time does a former contestant / future lead get to decompress before they have to prepare for filming again, with press, interviews, etc? Sounds like emotional whiplash. I know they agree to it, but it sounds horrible.
  8. Mind blown...I didn't even recognize her as the young woman in Dark Winds. Kudos to her, they're such completely different characters.
  9. I feel like this happens every season...but this season is a trainwreck. Yeah, Rachel's an insecure mess, but so is Gabby in a slightly more mature way. The whole format is set up to pit them against each other, despite the producers whole "girl power" spiel. Ugh. I resemble that, ha. Either we're getting shorted on seeing more in depth conversations, or this season is particularly shallow. I'm tired of Rachel being rejected and wallowing and just wanting to kiss everyone, but I'm also tired of the bulk of Gabby's conversations with the men being about her mom issues, or her nodding incessantly and her baby voice. The conversation is an honest one, but it's gotten repetitive to watch. I like Aven, Zach, Nate, and Ethan, but the rest are meh. And thanks producers, for making the episode last night all about Logan, the Bachelor. I continue to like Jesse a lot. Chris wanted good TV, but I feel like Jesse can actually empathize with the leads. Gabby had more chemistry with the Belgian man in the end credits than most of the other guys.
  10. Season two is off to a great start. I don't know if Elora will end up back with the other kids any time soon, but at least Willie Jack and Cheese are a great pair. Willie Jack's reactions to everything, like her meeting Jackie's crew and asking for something of Jackie's was a quietly hilarious scene. That was awesome. Cheese was definitely laughing a couple of times. Bucky casually sweeping up his own hair after hearing about the curse...gold. The chase scene at the beginning of ep 2 was horribly tense. Thank goodness the rednecks left, though I was surprised they did. The observations of the eagle that was actually a buzzard really summed up their trip so far. I do like seeing Jackie having a bit more depth. Maybe it's other shows I've been watching lately, ha, but I was worried about Elora and Jackie eating the food the lady prepared, and I was worried they'd end up locked in the rooms or something. Her prayer was great though. But after her bitter little comment as she saw them leaving with the truck, I don't think that's the end of it.
  11. Daniel seems like he'll end up as that bitter, angry old guy at the corner of the bar, endlessly complaining at how unfair life has been, taking little responsibility for anything. I hope he can gain a little self awareness after the show. I really want a Taylor HOH soon. I can't stand Jasmine but I'm kind of surprised they let her even up on the beams, risking a fall. I know he's putting a target on himself, but I kind of love him as the unlikely comp beast. Even given his competition. When did I start liking Turner? It's good to know how easy it is to wage psychological warfare on Jasmine, lol.
  12. Did she not know some of these very basic facts before they got sexy with each other? I'm glad that Daniel is gone this week, but Kyle, Indy and Alyssa can go next.
  13. That was gag worthy. Alyssa, Indy (where am I? what's going on?), and Jasmine are such disappointments. At least Jasmine and her eyebrows provide some clueless comic relief. Alyssa probably heads into the DR wondering where the final rose is. Y'all look as pretty as a hot dog in a 7-Eleven roller grill! That makes as much sense as comparing someone to bony, warmed poultry pieces. See you Nicole, please let all the doors hit you on your toxic ass on the way out. Daniel is such a salty bitch. Loved the show just fading out on his whining. You can tell Taylor will be living rent free in his head for a long time. Loved Michael and Taylor's goodbye speeches.
  14. Bless her heart, it's a good thing she's pretty. I got caught up in baseball all day and come back to hear that future restraining order Alyssa and Kyle got freaky next to...Daniel? Extra eww. And Nicole should maybe climb down off her high horse considering that verbal confirmation of said ass wiping is now forever enshrined on Twitter. Thank goodness the blindside still seems to be intact...right?! Please, let it happen.

As a Padres fan, I'm happy today. Tatis back soon, a major 1B upgrade (think a local beer company was releasing a new beer called "Groundout" in honor of Hosmer, Soto(!) we got Hader, and kept some fan favs. And extended local boy Musgrove, who's having a great year. I'm bummed about Hosmer apparently costing us Voit and his chest moss (courtesy of our amazing announcers) but he has been struggling.
  16. OK, he did use the veto. This week couldn't have happened to a more deserving duo, lol.
  17. I hate seeing Nicole and Daniel happy. She told "the girls" she was a cop, and they said "you're such a badass." So veto wasn't used? UGH. ETA, maybe he did use it? So confused. Taylor doesn't look happy.
  18. Does Nicole have any redeeming qualities? Gah. I don't even find her entertaining as a villian. I want her out of this house before jury because I don't think I could sit through any of her sanctimonious BS on finale night. Daniel can go soon too.
  19. Well, shoot. I just started S2, but I'm hesitant to bother with it now. The cast was great, so that's really disappointing.
  20. I quit smoking thirteen years ago, but I could have used one after that eviction. I'm still stunned I'm somehow rooting for Turner, Monte, Kyle, and Joseph. I already liked Michael and Taylor. It was surprisingly mature of Turner to admit he's not been perfect with regards to piling on Taylor. Did Daniel / Nicole acknowledge his veto speech directly? I'm not sure if they showed anything on the show. Lol at Monte's "I'm shocked...shocked that they're buying it!" Ha. It's never good to get cocky in the game (*coughAmeerah*) but the Leftovers should celebrate their win. Nice poker faces all around. Could Indy be more invisible on this show so far? Shut up Daniel, you mean little troll, and shut up Nicole. And bless her heart, Jasmine and her goshgollydurn attention-seeking voice can also just hush. You could see the moment she turned it up for Julie before she voted.
  21. Jasmine broke a tooth eating french fries? Are her teeth made out of Play-Doh? They really need to bring Raven in to host a comp. It would be pure entertainment to have her and Jasmine in the same room, concussions, inverted spines, and all.
  22. I second those who liked Nicole initially, but holy crap, she and Daniel can just fuck all the way off. What horrid people. Under different circumstances, Taylor's reaction to being told to "stop" and thinking it was referring to her bringing chips would have been humorous but it was such a reflection of how irrational Nicole and Daniel were being. And she ends up in a no-win situation that's all too common. Taylor seems like such a sensitive person, and I feel so bad for her. I can't wait to vote for her for AFP. She may be at the bottom of this guy's alliance but at least they're treating her like a human being. Can Jasmine do anything? I also have phobias, so I'm trying to be sympathetic but she seems like such a needy narcissist.
  23. I just really want a good, old fashioned blindside. What are the odds that actually happens? Is someone going to clue Ameerah in last minute as usual?
  24. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but despite the producers claiming to be all "girl power and friendship goals" for this season, of course they want maximum drama. They aren't going the organized or simpler route for divvying up the guys if they can do it in a way to cause maximum messiness and humiliation.
  25. Gabby needs a good therapist, not a sleazy Bachelorette producer. This season is a mess. They should never have done the two leads. Both of them breaking down into insecure tears in week 3 is not fun at all. It's likely some editing, but it doesn't seem like Rachel or Gabby have spent much time with any of these guys. At least the group is dwindling. Shut up Hayden.
