  1. He totally reminds me of Dan in the DR, with his voice and body language. Except I like Dan. That scene with Frankie was hilariously awkward.
  2. Yes on Bridesmaids. Rented it, stopped watching halfway through, and didn't even vpther finishing it. I also kept hearing how awesome Wolf of Wall street was, but I just thought it was too damn long, and Jonah Hill just creeped me out. Frozen - a cute movie, but nothing exceptional.
  3. I'm going to use this thread to finally admit to liking her music. I can understand why people don't like her, though the hate seems somewhat over the top. But after seeing her horrendous performance on SNL, I looked her up out of curiosity, and came across a lot of the stuff she did as Lizzy Grant...and I like quite a bit of it. I'm not sure what I think about Ultraviolence yet though.
  4. I just saw Wolf of Wall Street (meh), and even though he just had a supporting role, I was reminded of how good Kyle Chandler looks in a suit. And those eyes, yowza. He's had some great small parts in some well received movies in the last couple of years. I'd love to see him in some larger roles so he's just on the screen more, ha.
  5. So far, I like a lot of them, and am just meh on few. I'm only actively disliking Caleb, Zach, and Victoria. It's still way early, but I like having people to actually root for (Donny, Joey, Devyn, Derrick, Cody, Christine, Hayden). I'm sure that will all change once the feeds start. Sigh. Devyn, don't align with Caleb. I want to like you. Hopefully Caleb put a big old target on his back, and Zach will get himself voted out soon enough.
  6. I loved Estelle Getty in that too. And I won't actually buy it, but if Joe Dirt is on TV, I'll usually get sucked in for awhile. I mean, Christopher Walken! Did he lose a bet?
  7. I just mentioned Blazing Saddles in a different thread, and it brought back my early crush on Gene Wilder as the Waco Kid. Weird I know, but he was so cool in that movie. I'll go back to my cave now :)
  8. Oh boy....the entire movie of Blazing Saddles. But two of my favorites that spring to mind first are the tollbooth scene ("Someone's going to have to go back and get a shitload of dimes!") and for some reason, Gene Wilder's Waco Kid introduction gets me everytime: "Well, my name is Jim, but most people call me...Jim." It's all in how he says it. And so, so many more. Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder were just perfect in that movie.
  9. Colin O'Donaghue, yes. And my longtime crush is William Fichtner. Brilliant actor, and apparently a standup guy offscreen too. I love actors that just do their job, and go back to a somewhat normal life. Also Matthew McConaughey. He's got charisma.
