  1. I think she knows he's not her actual dad but she needs him for something. IDK, Tiger Lily told her to find her mom, but next thing we know, she's at Henry's door. Something is afoot.
  2. The problem with the Henry/Emma TLK is that it didn't show us anything new and it was in the same episode as the Snowing TLK Pilot callback. One would have been cute, but having them both simply makes the audience aware that this show is trying to recreate what those moments made us feel in the first season, one of which was the very first scene of the entire series. Paired with the blatant placement of Henry as the "new" Emma at the end, it comes across as kind of cheap storytelling. Even Rumbelle's end scene was a recycled moment from Season Four. This finale did nothing for me and I wanted it to.
  3. OMG I forgot. Yes it's so touching that the dwarves are now bowing down to the queen. Wonderful. I'm super happy for her.
  4. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Lucy is from the Wish Realm or at least a different universe. Also, I think that was Wish!Rumple talking to Gold.
  5. Goodbye my Charming Family. I will forever wonder what you could have been in the hands of writers who didn't always cast you aside for shinier toys. These characters deserved better. OMG did they really just frame that dinner as The Last Supper? I can't.
  6. And it's in response to Snow's "We celebrate together, a longtime wish come true." Wouldn't something like "What makes it even better, is that I'm here with you" (or the same sentiment but more lyrical) make more sense? Unless Charming's super excited to be cursed again?
  7. Ah, the rare show where I like every character I'm supposed to like and dislike the characters I'm supposed to dislike. I love Sense8, but my problem is that I enjoy the story so much I'm simply content with wherever they want to take it.
  8. Since Bex only congratulated A&E, RC, LP, and CO'D, can we take this as confirmation that everyone else (mainly EDR) is officially out? Barring guest appearances, of course.
  9. Okay, that sounds kind of fun. Rumple is of course the thing that went wrong. Henry is the one from the future making them course correct? Also, if we're copying Fringe, we should have Elsa make a random appearance.
  10. Thanks. It seems like it would be too repetitive even for A&E to have another Dark Curse immediately after the Black Fairy's curse but who knows? Or maybe they never get out of the Black Fairy curse :( I think with these writers that Henry would especially lose hope if he was separated from Regina and remembered it. Even as someone who is fairly neutral on Henry and Regina's relationship, I think it sucks for him. Originally, Snow was supposed to go in the wardrobe while pregnant with Emma and go find cursed Charming. I always thought it would be interesting if this happened and Charming and Snow were reunited with her aging 28 years while he did not. I could see them doing this with Emma leaving while pregnant, and the fate of the child being a mystery. I still have no idea how the little girl fits in or how they would depict Henry's missing years if they can't rely on JMo being there for their flashback crutch.
  11. Is it too much to hope that this show won't do Dark Curse number 2309 and have this be the reason Henry ages and JMo isn't around? They could have Henry and Emma escape the curse and live in NYC, and that's why Rumple, Regina, and Hook don't age while Henry does. If they want to show Emma they could (don't kill me) recast with an older actress. They could leave us guessing whether Charming and Snow (and maybe Belle too) went with Emma and Henry or were cursed and something happened to them and that's why the actors aren't around. Why am I putting this out into the universe? The only reason I suspect they won't do this is because the finale is centered around Emma and Henry being separated from everyone else and to separate them again immediately after would be too much even for this show. [small voice] CO'D would play the hell out of pining for Emma and being distressed at the 15 year separation though, especially if she was pregnant or something when she left and he doesn't know what happened to the child. I would really prefer if it was some sort of adventure mini-arcs with the idea that the unseen characters are offscreen being happy and the main characters are eager to get back home to them. Give us a Mulan mini-arc with Regina and an Ariel mini-arc with Hook etc. Explore the neglected side characters a little if we can't have our (almost as neglected) Charmings.
  12. I will give it a chance, but if it seems to cancel out the happy endings of any of the Charmings, including Henry, I'll be out.
  13. Not sure if this means anything, but the OUAT facebook page just added a video filled with clips of the characters saying "happy ending" with the caption "Once Upon a Time is all about happy endings."
  14. In honor of what's likely going to be the last episode of this show in its current form, I'd like to do a Charming Family focused rewatch before Sunday. Obviously I don't have a lot of time, so I'm thinking at the very least, I'll watch the Pilot, Snow Falls, A Land Without Magic, Broken, Going Home, and Snow Drifts/There's No Place Like Home. Snow and Emma had some good scenes in 2A and I loved watching Charming fight to get them back, so maybe I'll add some of those in (also, bonus!Hook). Sadly, besides certain scenes throughout the later seasons, I can't really think of another strong Charming Family focused episode to watch. Maybe Shattered Sight? For Charming and Emma, I suppose White Out is pretty good even though they're barely together in it, but at least I'll see one of my favorite guest characters, Elsa. Maybe I'll watch Heartless even though the long-haired, non-flashback Regina is in it. How sad that I can't think of more. Anyone have any suggestions for other strong Charming Family episodes? If I have time, I'll probably throw in Good Form and NYC Serenade for my CS loving heart. Maybe The Other Shoe too. They have good scenes in some other episodes, of course, but the point of this isn't really to get bogged down in the plot and angst that seemed to encompass later CS and Charming Family scenes. I really don't know if anything can top the hope I felt at the end of Season 1 when Emma kissed Henry and Snow and Charming found each other again. Even though they're my favorite family on television, I didn't really think I'd be this sad to see the Charming Family potentially leave my screen for good in a few days. I think I'm mostly sad over the wasted potential.
  15. ITA that it should be a spinoff or sequel. What's bothering me is the possibility that it might be the same show in the same town with the same recurring characters and two or three main characters while the rest are just gone.
  16. Not gonna lie, after the happy emotions last night's episode gave me, it was definitely sad to read that there would be no Emma next season. I was already pretty set on leaving with Snowing. With Emma gone, so am I, I think.
  17. I have a feeling it will be Henry that convinces Emma to believe and fight, not Hook. Hook will probably just show up right when they're ready to fight.
  18. Wait, I actually know this one! Didn't they have the protection spell on them that made it so Regina couldn't hurt them in the EF? I'm surprised that didn't extend to not being able to stop their weaponized song.
  19. "Emma's Theme" made me emotional. This show hasn't made me emotional in a long, long time. I don't see how any finale can top the joy evoked by "A Happy Beginning" and I don't know if I want them to even try.
  20. Guys, "A Happy Beginning" is still stuck in my head. I'm gonna have to buy it. It's just so cheery and uplifting. Why couldn't we have this some of the time on the show without music?
  21. Just to be clear, I was not implying the promo was saying that the show is being renewed. I was merely commenting on the absence of the "series" finale label. Its absence in no way implies that it isn't the series finale. We are as uncertain about that as we were before this episode aired.
  22. I could be wrong, but I think I spied both Wonderland and a beanstalk in the promo. Regina says, "All the realms will be destroyed." Does this mean we'll get some sort of cool realm hopping sequence?
  23. Yes, that's why I was focusing on what the promo said. Some people thought they would announce the end of the series that way. I genuinely didn't think I cared one way of the other until the promo came on.
