  1. They also make them with makeup samples. A YouTube vlog I watch fairly regularly showed the vlogger doing 1 last year. I think she said she got it from Sephora, but I’m not totally positive.
  2. Stepping in here, regarding the bolded, because I’m not sure if some clarification on “Cracker Barrel” is needed here or not. If it is, if you’re familiar with the Cracker Barrel Country Store (& Restaurant), this mac & cheese isn’t made by them, though they do serve mac & cheese in the restaurants & they also have some products available for home consumption that, I’m fairly sure, are sold in other stores besides Cracker Barrels. The Cracker Barrel mac & cheese being discussed is a relatively new product available many places, or wherever, you can find other brands of mac & cheese. It’s another mac & cheese product by Kraft (besides the kinds in the blue boxes—they put the microwaveable cup version of the original blue box product in blue cups/boxes as well; they also had a kinda short-lived frozen version of the blue box kind some years ago), using various varieties of their Cracker Barrel brand cheeses. I knew those from when I was a kid—from all those Kraft sponsored TV specials aired mostly around the holidays, which would include commercials showing how to make various kinds of usually holiday/party foods using Kraft products, & the recipes would usually be printed in TV Guide the week the special program aired—though, until the mac & cheese commercials started airing fairly recently, I hadn’t heard of Kraft Cracker Barrel cheese in so long that I thought it was no longer being produced.
  3. I’m not sure when the new season starts, but TLC’s been airing old eps in the very early AM hours (like at least 5-7AM Eastern) lately. Today’s were from 2016 & were about Halloween when Will was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle & Zoey was Minnie Mouse, & she had to go to the pediatrician & get a checkup & 4 vaccinations, & she got a crush on her doctor, or so Bill thought. Then they kept trying to take more candy than they were supposed to during Trick-Or-Treating. Then they went to New Orleans with nainai & grandbaba because Jen had a speaking engagement & they saw the sights, ate beignets at Café Du Monde; Bill & Jen revisited a psychic they apparently had visited some years earlier; & Will, Zoey, & their grandparents met 1 of the people responsible, somehow, with Bill & Jen eventually getting to adopt Will. The other episode was about the kids’ lemonade stand at nainai’s house while (I think) they were having a yard/garage sale of their stuff because the grandparents were moving back to Florida. I keep hearing commercials for their new season where Bill says Will’s been asking about China. So it looks like (among other things), whenever the new eps start, the family’s taking a trip to China.
  4. Why is Robin only on for what seems like once a freakin’ month? It’s like, she goes on vacay for at least a week, then comes back for at least a week, then disappears again, without George, or Michael, or anybody else at least giving the standard “Robin’s on assignment” excuse for her absence, then when she finally comes back she may only be on every other day or something. I don’t believe she’s having any health issues, like what caused her stem cell/bone marrow (I forget which) transplant from her sister, Sally Ann. She just seems to get more time off than the other anchors (like Scott Caan gets written out of 1 episode of Hawaii Five-0 for every 5 episodes Alex O’Loughlin appears in per season). I think if I were the other anchors on GMA, I wouldn’t be very happy if Robin’s getting what seems to be so much more time off than they are, without any real reason for it.
  5. I have to say, my favorite parts of Matthew winning & his speech were his references to getting a son from the experience of being in The Americans (& hoping the little bugger—I guess Sam’s 3[?] now—was asleep); his calling Keri “Keri Lynn(sp?)” & promising more to come, & her adoring (& other) looks in response to Matthew’s comments.
  6. And to go along with Matthew’s acceptance speech, we have what’s supposed to be Matthew’s full backstage press conference after winning. It only runs 3 minutes, 32 seconds; It was posted by Variety.
  7. For those who might’ve missed it, here’s Matthew’s acceptance speech, from the point where the Queer Eye guys are introduced & remind everyone of the nominees then announce the winner, all the way through the end of Matthew’s speech. It was posted by the Television Academy (the group who also posts the Emmy Legends interviews online, if you’ve seen those). And here is what’s supposed to be Matthew’s full backstage press conference after winning. It only runs 3 minutes, 32 seconds; the video was posted by Variety.
  8. I liked that all the awards, except for series (& maybe lead actor/lead actress), in the same genre were presented 1 after the other (which I don’t think they’ve done; at least not in recent history) instead of going randomly around the genres or going by actor vs. actress, writer, director, etc. Like they did all/almost all the Comedy awards, then the Dramas (just an example; not necessarily the correct order), etc.
  9. Well, we at least got 1 major award, for Matthew.
  10. I’m sure she can do it too. Didn’t Keri have to punch Matthew, in character, when they read together to get their parts & she really knocked him for a loop?
  11. Mine too. I hope Keri’s did also. He also speaks with his natural Welsh accent on talk shows; sometimes they ask to see him switch between the Welsh & the American accent.
  12. It’s specifically a Welsh accent. And he also hid it for 5 years, when he played Kevin, the gay lawyer son, in Brothers & Sisters.
  13. Crossing everything! Go Keri! Damn! Well Matthew will share with Keri. Damn right this wasn’t supposed to happen... that was supposed to be Keri Russell’s Emmy. Disappointed much.
  14. They’ve won other Emmys for Guest Actress in a Drama, for Margo Martindale who played their main KGB Handler (besides/after Gabriel), Claudia—she won 2 or 3 of those Emmys. They’ve also won at least 1 more writing, with at least 1 more nomination for writing.
  15. I’m almost positive they won for writing before, but I forget which season(s).
  16. Yes! The J’s just won the Emmy for Writing in a Drama Series!
  17. I don’t even watch Game of Thrones, but isn’t that, like, his 3rd Emmy for the same role?
  18. She started her career as a child actress, playing 1 of the daughters/the daughter on 227, which starred Marla Gibbs & Jackée (aka Jackée Harry). That was a longtime Saturday night NBC sitcom paired with Clifton Davis & Sherman Hemsley’s Amen.
  19. I’m rooting for Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, & all things The Americans.
  20. She also had that storyline where Kono was trying to help 1 of her old surfing rivals who’d lost 1 leg or both legs in Iraq & had become homeless, gotten in legal trouble, & fallen on other hard times since returning home. And S2 had her biggest arc, where Kono went undercover for Captain Fryer & took down dirty ex-cop Frank Delano (& Steve decked Fryer as soon as the op was over).
  21. Yes she was. She was on the set the 1st week of filming, as I remember (I’m not positive, but I think that led some people to think she was filming more of an ending for Kono than just flying off to the Mainland to catch sex trafficking rings). And I think she was also there after that (I guess she finds/found it OK to be on the set as long as she wasn’t a working cast member anymore). I don’t know; if her true feelings were expressed in what was printed, I guess at least half of me thinks “What a beyotch!”. If the writer did a number on her— making her feelings seem some way they weren’t/aren’t, then maybe I might be a little more sympathetic. But I do have to say her going back to the set after leaving the show, like a former student going back to school after graduation to visit their favorite teacher(s) &/or administrator(s) kinda left a weird taste in my mouth too (shrugs). But I guess if the rest of the cast, crew, Lenkov, & CBS have no problems with it, whatever. Since she was cast as a replacement for another actress in ABC’s new show, A Million Little Things (which doesn’t compete with H50 or any of Lenkov’s shows—or DDK’s show—by the way; I think it’s on the Wednesday schedule), & that films in Vancouver, I doubt she’ll be visiting the set much this season, unless that show doesn’t last until midseason.
