I was so sure that when the Candyman's son was passing out people's favorite treats that he would hand Jackie a plate with crushed up pills, made into lines and a straw. . It was so odd seeing Grace being kind to Frank's sons. Way to go, Frank. You just insist on digging deeper into Jackie's black hole. You need to run! . Akalitus is much too smart to play into Jackie's scheme. Right?

No, yah, Lester's new found self-assurance means he's definitely gonna pay. He should have just ignored Malvo in the bar. That's one badass you don't welcome back into your life. .

Thanks for posting that trailer, peachmangosteen! It's a tad spoilerish but nothing significant nor anything we haven't really speculated about, and I'm glad to see a ballpark timeline. I couldn't agree more about Aden Young. He is phenomenal. I read an interview recently and I don't know why I was surprised to read that he's from Australia. Being from the deep south I've always (involuntarily) had my radar out for actors trying to fake a southern accent. He got past my radar. He's just that good. My anticipation for this show's return has been beyond ridiculous.

I haven't rewatched any episodes since they aired but intend on doing so the week before S2 begins. Is Susan Gunterson the hair dresser? I imagine that Teddy is smart enough to have learned the lesson Daniel showed with the coffee incident. He could even become an ally to his step-brother, especially given Daniel's brutal beating. That scenario could present an opportunity as well for Tawny to be by Daniel's side. If that happens, the skeptical and jealous side of Teddy will return. I'm wondering how much time will have passed since the events of the last episode.

Lester is most definitely breaking bad and getting his revenge for those who have bullied him. His own brother called Lester a loser and a burden. Lester's retaliation is pretty slick if not downright clever. The raining fish remains a mystery though. Too bad the King's son Dimitri is a casualty. No way is Molly dead. Don's death was really gruesome. Dark episode but riveting.

I usually hate-watch this show and post snarky comments afterwards, but damn if my soapy heart didn't get suckered into the finale. The acting was superb overall and Hayden P's was off the charts. Could this be her Emmy-admission? That's exactly what I saying to the TV but it was too late. Show tried to screw with the Juliette.Avery chemistry, but it's still there. LOVED Gunnar's song to Scarlet. They'll always carry the Deacon/Rayna-like torch for each other. Very satisfying episode for me. And it was about time.

I thought so, too. Lester did mention the thumping washing machine to her in the ambulance, but that still didn't seem enough for her to go directly to it and take the back off.

Terrific points to ponder there then, Tara. Since Chief Ozwalt is finally seeing Molly's Lester & Malvo connection, it feels like he will die - most likely in the upcoming storm. That leaves the door open for Molly to then be the new chief. I LOVED neighbor Ari's midnight visit with Gus and his parable. It felt like a true nod to the "warthog from hell" introduction in Raising Arizona and almost identical to the Coen's style in the same. Malvo's definitely got his eye on Gus's daughter but she's too loveable to be killed off. Very smart way for Malvo to monitor the goings on in the Grimly household. I like the idea of Lester losing his hand to the sepsis. That may be the only thing left of Lester when all is said & done. I wasn't ready for Molly to find Lester's bloody, Chekov's hammer, but it will turn up by season's end, I think. Lester must have moved it. From the moment that Malvo came to bronzer Don's house, I knew Don was unwittingly helping & leading himself into Malvo's trap. I recognized this episode's director's name, Colin Bucksey, from some Breaking Bad eps he did. I'm guessing it was maybe a reunion of sorts for him and Bob Odenkirk. This show is only getting better. _________________________

Just make sure you ask for at least 20 grand per consultation and have plenty of Mello Yello, Oreos and Adderall on hand. I am painfully ignorant of this technical world so I don't notice the mistakes, but I absolutely love this show. Jared trapped in the driverless car was far-fetched but hilarious. Hated the punk brat who slugged Richard but loved Erlich coming to the rescue. Great episode. ____________

All Episodes Talk: Admit it. You Can't Stand The View.
Fisher King replied to stormygone's topic in The View
Okay, I missed the first 5 minutes today. Was there any mention at all about Sherri's split? I'm assuming not since I'm sure Babs doesn't appreciate anybody else stealing a second of her last week spotlight. -
Loved Cheyakee, Amy's life coach/psychic: "I've known Amy for 12 weeks and if she says she saw a ghost, and agrees to fly me down business class, then that's right, she saw a ghost." The opening bit with all the animals cracked me up and the interview with the 106 year old lady was priceless. Great episode after a couple of lackluster ones before.

Very expensive show to produce and ratings have been down this season. It's possible season 3 will primarily be shot in Texas or Georgia. http://www.tennessean.com/story/entertainment/2014/05/10/nashville-renewed-rd-season-locale-undetermined/8952227/

Dang, Sherri, yo huzzbin be harsh, gurl. It's no secret that Sal turned out to be a gold-digging ahole. I think everyone could see it but Sherri. It's hard for me to feel pity for her since loves to publicly display every aspect of herself, but does she deserve to be so humiliated? If Sal is this visceral before the divorce (assuming there is one) I can only imagine the upcoming drama. I may have to watch just to see if Sherri shows up on the show tomorrow.

S10.E22: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
Fisher King replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Grey's Anatomy
I loved hearing Amos Lee's version of "Like a Virgin". That and Cristina with no eyebrows were my favorite parts. This show is lucky to have survived this long. No mo' Oh will put this show in TV hospice. -
S02.E20: Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad
Fisher King replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Nashville [V]
I was hoping that Juliette would slap the shit out of Scarlett's mother but NO, Juliette's too wrapped up in her jealousy of Avery. But we all knew that the show would screw up the Avery/Juliette storyline. We can't have nice things. Juliette and the Edgehill guy --- barf. I actually kinda liked Scarlett this episode. At least she stood her ground and told her mother to leave. She'll be back waitressing at the Bluebird......and singing......and I'm down with that. Really liked the song Gunnar sang. The reality show is gonna create all kinds of chaos. Bring it on. -
*Blush*, Mz Anthrope. Wasn't sure if anyone would pick up on !

Romero knows that Norma's a liar and would say anything to protect Norman. He's also aware that there's a whole lotta creepy, crazy, criminal things happening with the Bates and he seems willing to look the other way with much of it, and when it benefits him, but the fact that Norman may be a psychotic killer is something he needs to be up on. As big a hassle as it can be, he's got to enforce the law every now and then.

I thought I was done with Jaime last week after his raping Cersei. Boy, was this week a turnaround. Was last week just poor direction? Writing? Seems from some the replies here that that was the case. Thanks to Michelle MacLaren for another solid episode. Could have done without the rapes/beatings/drinking-out-of-skulls at Craster's. I do hope Hodor and the Direwolves won't be slaughtered. I'm not really worried about Bran. There are mean-ass bastards all over the place this season. The White Walkers are scary but I want to like them. I was so glad that Ol' Blue Eyes on the horse didn't eat that pitiful, squawling baby. But I must say it's good to see Edgar Winter's still alive and getting a prime gig . ;)

That was a fun read, Tara! "What about the bypass!!!" Indeed!

Regardless of the truth about Norman killing Miss Watson, I think that it's probably in Romero's best interest to keep the Bates' content, especially if Dylan moves up to the top rung of the pot ladder. Nick Ford's not around to keep her investigation going anymore. No one but Norman knows for sure who killed her and I'm assuming he will adopt Norma's twisted logic and start believing he's better off denying his dark passenger.....or accepting it and become a Dexter. I'm just not so sure how Dylan can keep from having a target on his back now. He has to kill Zane & recruit his henchmen & Ford's to stay alive. The acting just keeps getting better. Emma broke my heart as well last night. The scenes with Norman in the box were good & creepy. Vera Farmiga was on Letterman last night. She was talking about what a pain it is to raise children. :)

I honestly knew that, too! Ooops.

That's funny, Midru. The only songs I can stand on this show are the slow, depressing ones. I do love when the great harmony moments happen though. The upbeat, happy songs sound like filler to me.

I have always liked Buddy Miller's work with wife Julie, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin and Emmylou. It was great to hear some of the songs & see the writers get a little respect away from the context of the show. I didn't miss Connie Britton at all but I REALLY missed the Lennon sisters.

Loved the shout out to Raising Arizona with "you missed a spot". The deaf guy with his fringe leather jacket and 70s sideburns was both funny and scary. Great to see Glenn Howerton in full spray-on tan mode, but still playing Dennis Reynolds. Are we working on a specific theme with the episode titles? Crocodile and rooster?

Jenny McCarthy: She Doesn't Want Kids to Get Vaccinated
Fisher King replied to Lisin's topic in The View
Jeez, Jenny, way to hijack the show with your surprise engagement announcement to Donnie Wahlberg. Actually no...thank you for breaking the monotony of Not Hot Topics. Nice ring. Congrats.
