Crazy, isn't it? I saw a lot of it as an NICU RN, but for some reason this diaper commercial really bothers me. The attitude of not "being able to take it" to change a diaper at night, and making it seem that this is normal is really sad. I guess their "answer" is finding diapers that you don't have to change until you think of it. I wonder what they do when the baby cries? Shut the door and turn up the music??

I wonder if the kids will play little kid's soccer. My nephew's kid was playing when he was four. (But he was playing with the under tens when he was four, so maybe not a good comparison.) But I do know that there are beginning soccer programs for four-year-olds, and a lot of little girls are out on the field.

Is finding baby care difficult a generational thing? Not wanting to feed a baby at night reminds me of a current diaper commercial where a young mom complains that the had to get up 3 nights in a row to change her baby's diaper. And she just couldn't take it anymore. The commercial is for diapers that you only have to change every 12 hours. Poor baby. It seems that to some people, babies are accessories that do not need a lot of attention. They are only there to bring attention to the parents. How could you not feed your baby, or keep it clean and comfortable?

Or he has needed extra remedial help and a professional to help him find his method of learning. Both ignored by his parents and the Wisdom Book education system. I think education is for show only in this family. Uneducated children are easier to control.

I was expecting an engagement announcement before now. T & H were hugging pretty close in the video about the house. Much more than just holding hands. She also used the "L" word when talking about Tim. I really am happy that they have taken control over their internet life. Maybe Heidi is the backbone Tim needs. I hope so.

I think I heard that the garage they paid extra for was a detached garage. That will not be very useful in the snow. Which person will shovel a path to the garage, and shovel them out to the road, for that matter? I don't see either one of them doing that. They did not seem to like each other very much.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
CalicoKitty replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Amazon has "permanent" Christmas lights that you can install yourself (or have someone do it for you) that cost around $200--it depends on how long you need. They can be controlled with an app on your phone. I didn't read any reviews, so that's all I know. The ad says they are good for tens of thousands of hours. -
We don't know how philanthropic they are. A lot of people, myself included, donate without wanting or expecting any publicity. And it is no one else's business if/how much anyone donates. That is a private decision that everyone has the freedom to decide for themself.

I worked with someone who ALWAYS dragged one or both of her young daughters everywhere. She brought one daughter (uninvited) to my retirement party. Funerals, parties, adult faculty parties, crab feeds, it didn't matter, she always had her young daughters there. And they were always the only children. Always. The rest of us thought it was very out of place. It was uncomfortable. So I get what you are saying.

Have you tried an OTC antihistamine or nasal spray? An ENT would be a good place to start. It might be allergy.

I really don't think so. It is about Jill's growth and realizing that the world she grew up in was not a true life. If you read the book you will see how really, really deep the brainwashing was. And how she is finally getting a grasp on "herself". It did not come across as a Derick-inspired venture at all.

I just finished watching an episode that may have been a rerun. The wife--who giggles all the time--wants a ton of land so she can have chickens, donkeys, and whatever. Husband wants only 2 or 3 acres. Neither adult knows anything about raising animals or farming. I wish people would realize how hard it is to raise chickens. You don't just put them in a coup, give them some food and water, and gather eggs. She wants her kids to experience "nature". They will experience nature when a fox, or raccoon, or hawk kills the chickens all at once. And she wants a donkey because they are "cute". They bought a house on the lower end of their price scale so they can do a whole lot of projects. (shakes head). I don't see this venture going well. One house had an elevator, and they both said that their kids would be going up and down all the time. They don't know how to set rules?? Yeah, I see a lot of animals working out real well for them.

It's a true story, and it is quite odd. You just can't understand how some people can come up with some of these ideas. It is actually pretty funny.

I grew to like the new "Governor", but I did not find the case itself as intriguing as past seasons. But maybe that was because they had to take a lot of the time figuring out and developing the team dynamics. I felt good about the show at the end. I hope they continue with more seasons.

I agree. Ruth Wilson did a great job portraying her grandmother. And I like that the family has stayed close. But they still don't know who the guy actually was. I hope the family can find out somehow. I found this whole story very intriguing.

On Britbox "Unforgotten" (also on PBS passport) and "The Syndicate". On Acorn "The Other One". Crazy and hilarious. Another on PBS Passport is "Mrs Wilson". This is a true story that is amazing. Also on Britbox "The Thief, His Wive, and the Canoe". Also a true story. Right now I am watching "Only Murders in the Building" on Hulu. Martin Short and Steve Martin are really funny. Forgot to add: on Amazon Prime "Titanic the Shocking Truth". Very interesting documentary.

That was a great series. The secrets in some families........

The twins have become unwatchable with all their antics. They have really ramped up lately. The main reason I cannot watch any more is the way they stage the finished houses. The finished product is so crammed with stuff and it always looks like a thrift store. You can't even see the rooms, let alone any details. That would not entice me to buy. Just too much stuff to look past.

How would you dust that black tile in the living room? Not a practical choice in any way, in my opinion. Since they could not afford the black tub, they should have gone with all white fixtures. The bathroom looked very mismatched. I didn't feel that the people who looked at the finished house were as enthusiastic about this house as much viewers of past houses. I know I wasn't.
