Ah the good old days of Days when they had a budget to go on location. I also recall this was at least the 2nd year in a row of November sweeps overseas filming (Stockholm being the previous year.) The Greece trip followed up the summer "disk" storyline and brought the reveal of Serena Colville. Diana, Roman/John, Adrienne, Justin, Victor stories were moved front and center as MBE was out on maternity leave so Stayla screen time could be minimized till she came back to continue their story. I did not know about all the "backstage" drama though. Who all got sick? Did this disrupt/delay filming?

My NBC station is airing the Olympics but there's no Olympic coverage during what is the normal hour of Days.

While Dr. Rolf's appearances are always fun, I'm struggling with the ridiculousness of Statesville providing Rolf with his own mad scientist lab and fertility clinic. What is he now running the Statesville well-woman appointments? I guess Clyde runs the mammograms?

EJ and Nicole to me are 🤮 🤮 🤮. I'll take just about anyone together other than them. Like for instance EJ and Clyde are supposed to lock eyes across a dingy jail cell soon. "Of all the prisons in the world and you have to walk into mine," Clyde should say with a twinkle in his eye as he welcomes EJ to the Stateville population.

Well, it would explain the wig so you might be on to something. You're probably closer to the mark than I was yesterday. At one point (like before Craig said he'd always been into men and before Nancy's hissy fit) I was thinking it might go like this: Craig's new man shows up in town and meets Nancy. He's just as turned on by her as her husband and isn't shy about it. Nancy thinks the new silver fox in town might be her rebound even though she still loves Craig. Craig feels torn between his new man and Nancy. When they all realize who each other are, Nancy lives happily ever after with 2 gorgeous bi men. How Nancy's personality doesn't annoy the piss out of both of them, I can't explain. But hey, I can't explain how anyone else fits in the same room with Ciara's ego either, so there's that.

Me too! After mentally pondering that a few moments, I came to the conclusion this was Abaigail being her normal conceited self. In addition to delusions of grandeur, apparently Abs is also out of touch with reality because we all know Brady generally only cares about himself. Incidentally, my favorite line of the episode was Kristin telling Abby she was as annoying as a mosquito with a press pass. 🤣

What there's seems to be an agreement on: Their real-life romance/fling/hook-up ended and he has someone else. What I've seen discussed: Now deleted tweets/posts where his new girlfriend talked smack about VK and he didn't come to her rescue.

It would be more fun to have her think she's in love with someone random. Roman, EJ, Clyde, Rafe or hell even Duke. If she's been brainwashed it might as well be entertaining. From what I've gathered, the news or the "leak" is coming from multiple sources associated with the show. Presumably it was not meant to be released this soon, but it was and so there's been several "unofficial" confirmations. I doubt we'll see Ron or the actors say anything yet if they want to contain the spread till their intended time or until a soap magazine exclusive. RSW's contract (whatever the time) is inconsequential as the show likely has "out" options at various points. If the work environment between the two has become toxic, they may invoke those rights. Or as you mentioned, he could have asked to be released too and they granted it. Since the drama w/CIN stems from the actor's personal issues, a recast of one or both of them seems like a possibility if they don't want to work together anymore.

Either HEA or death, in Salem rarely are either permanent, but I'd rather watch dead or locked up insane for CIN this summer. Given Ben's history and the current devil plot, it would make the most sense and be the most entertaining. Kinda like Go Big or Go Home, Ron. 😁
