I didn't like the way he treated Mantis when I watched it but now reading the responses, I get it; but while watching it came off really mean to me. ^^^ I think describing it as different then the first is the best way for me to explain it. The ladies rolling out the portable carpet was hilarious. Everytime I would come to the Movies page this thread was just staring me in the face. I think Rocket is my favorite so I loved all the stuff with him. But like @MisterGlass I laughed at first when Nebula called him "triangle faced" but then a little aww when he was feeling his face, I felt bad for him. But Trash Panda is awesome. I liked the end with Rocket asking about family and if they still were even though "someone" might do something like steal batteries.

Watch The First Full Trailer for The Defenders
dkb replied to Primetimer's topic in The Defenders [V]
Can't wait for this. Been to long since Jessica and Patsy have been on my screen. -
Yes, Dan was the astronaut. If I'm remembering correctly, he even had a music cue for when he would start with the " Don't tell anyone but...." That whole season was hilarious to me, which is why its probably my favorite. I HATED Terry so was always laughing when Casaya would kick La Mina's butt at challenges even though they were so dysfunctional, and loved all of his plans being spoiled because Cirie was the BOSS! I would have loved a Cirie and Aras finale (I liked their friendship) but I didn't mind Danielle either.

"lifesyles of the rich and famous" lol Aubry I think Sarah owning up to it was the smart thing to do. Sierra really messed up by being to secure in her alliance and not making connections with others. Brad and Troyzan should be on the chopping block but people want to work with them so their safe. Debbie is bitter I see. I think I'm with Sarah and Michaela on this, get rid of one of the minority alliance first, but I can see Sarah seeing that Zeke is too tight with Brad and might not stay loyal to her. Plus he's always going on about "playing the game" which translates to bad things for people he's supposed to be loyal to, see Andrea. Glad to see Michalea working on a relationship with Zeke and Sarah. Also why did the minority throw their votes on each other, isn't it smarter to vote for someone else, never know whats happening at tribal. Agreed @vb68 I thought for sure Tai was busting out one of his idols tonight.

I'm excited for this, except for Johnny Depp but I hope @Matt K is right about his screen time. I guess I'm so used to David Suchet as Poirot that I was taken aback by how Branagh looks; not sure about his moustache yet. I will watch pretty much any adaptation of Agatha Christies works, I love her stories. Maybe if this does well we can get more big screen versions of her books. I think Ben Affleck is doing a version of Witness Against the Prosecution, but I would love some big screen love for Marple and Tommy & Tuppence too.

I didn't know this. Not cool Nashville fans not cool. I tend to cheer for the players that I like, thats why I want Nashville to make it, for Subban. On another note, apparently Ottawa is having a hard time selling out the arena even in the playoffs this year. I know that during the regular season that they don't get great numbers but playoffs are usually a better time.

Michaela, it was right there!! It was just like Andrea totally missing the advantage in the first episode. She started eating at Tribal! Way to go Cirie! I would suck at pretty much every challenge on Survivor. Every time Sarah has a confessional, it feels like she's lecturing. Loved Aubry rolling her eyes at Debbie, hehe. Lol, Debbie saying that "Michaela is highly annoying." The irony. Debbie is really really cocky for no reason. And delusional, Brad and Sierra are clearly dictating and DEBBIE is taking orders. Bye Debbie. Glad to see her smug smile get wiped out. Next better be Sierra and her smugness. If alliances are shifting each Tribal it's going to be a very crazy end to the season.

Well that hurts. But proud of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the fight they brought to the Capitals. 5 out of 6 games went to overtime, which is just crazy. Only 2 Canadian teams left in the playoffs, but overall great series in the first round. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out. Also rooting for Nashville to finally make it, especially for PK Subban.

If you search Hali ponderosa on youtube the second result is the right one.

S34.E08: There's A New Sheriff In Town (Double Episode)
dkb replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Survivor
I was hoping that those three ladies would get together and do something, but no. I really don't get why Hali or Michaela were the two options, did they do something to these people? Other than that I thought the first episode was totally zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's. I was kinda bored. Perked up when Hali had the whispered conversation with Michaela, and the Cirie/Michaela mentory conversation was good too. Also liked the fact that Cirie was shown playing the game finally!! Good decision by her to pretend like she was down with voting Michaela while making sure she didn't actually go home. Good episodes for the most part for Cirie. Yep, Ozzy has no game play, can get rid of him any time he loses a challenge, and he does lose them. Zeke is the dangerous one with lots of relationships. Also this ^^^^. Your going to use your extra vote this early? Voting out Ozzy is the one your going to use it on? Everyone will be up for voting him out down the line. I would have saved it. Second tribal council votes were weird. Why did Cirie vote Sierra? Maybe she was indirectly voting Ozzy out. Also who the hell voted for Aubry, like what is going on? Why is Sierra acting like she's like some strategic mastermind? She annoys me so much. I didn't even like the way she was laying on the beach at the second immunity challenge when Andrea walked over, like she's some queen or something. When she gets voted out it will be delicious. I'm glad you posted this @Eolivet, I was picking up on this too but was thinking that maybe I was being oversensitive. -
Yep, Caleb has been totally ruined for me. I was cringing when he spoke too. Omg, what the hell is Ali's problem? Like Emily said all of them have so much crap to deal with, and yes, being impregnated by a lying liar (as far as she knows right now) is bad, but chill girl. She is being a first class bitch to Paige; why is she mad at Paige? I mean if anyone is going to be having issues from high school it should be Paige. As I remember it Alison was horrible to her for no good reason back then. Yet, Paige is actually acting like an adult and Alison is in high school mode again. I guess she wants to go back to the "good old times" when she was Queen B. I do not care about Paige in any way shape or form, can take or leave her, but good god, are they really going to push Emison when half of that equation is still the same old mean horrible person that she always was? Like are we supposed to root for her as much as the other girls? At this point I want Emily to meet some new person outside of Rosewood and live happily ever after rather than be with Alison. I really don't understand what they are expecting us to feel for Alison other than hatred. Is this supposed to be her redemption arc? Doesn't seem like she's learned anything from the time she went missing, to when she came back a few seasons ago. Sometimes she's as much a part of the "good" people with the girls, and other times she's the antagonist. She doesn't have to turn into a goody two shoes, but pick a lane and stay in it show. Why am I investing any emotional and intellectual power in any of this.

Thank you @rippleintime17 for the positivity!!!

Sigh, not looking good for the Jays so far. So many injuries and the team is not producing right now. They aren't making it easy to watch them right now, especially since the Leafs are in the playoffs this spring.
-
I think that may just have been reflex. "It's ok" is always the first thing that comes out of my mouth when something bad happens to me, or if someone says something stupid to me or something like that. It's later when I have time to think that I'm like that was not ok. Zeke was just saying that in the moment .
-
That was so wrong on Jeff's part, but Zeke handled it with grace and class. He is a much better person than I for even looking in Varners direction let alone giving him a hug.

Not expecting the Leafs to win anything this year, which I feel everyone in Toronto knows. Just happy that they made it to playoffs. Winning a few games would be great but wouldn't be that disappointed if they leave after the first round. I feel they can get 1 game from Washington too, I don't think it will be a sweep. The ticket thing is the way they have operated forever now, not surprised. So many interesting matchups this year, and happy about the other Canadian teams as well. It all starts tonight!

I loved it. Looks like crazy fun. Some of the Hela stuff has to be tied to Infinity War I'm assuming; she's totally destroying Asgard. Also was someone, Thor?, riding a bird? Edit: Apparently its Valkyrie on a Pagesus!! Also Chris Hemsworth looks great ;)

Go Leafs Go!! I couldn't watch last night I was so nervous.

Oh my god, Debbie and her pony. I'm visualizing this. Holy cow, is right Tai. Too many idols. Who's coming on the boat; Cochrane?! I would never come up with his name for who was making a visit. Lol, Cochrane has Debbie pegged 100%. Debbie really has a story for every situation. Ohh, hard decision for me what I would have taken. Maybe not the extra vote because so far its backfired both times. I'm thinking idol making kit. The boat part of the challenge looked super hard, but the puzzle seemed easy. I know Sandra is dangerous but Tai just proved how unpredicable he is, they should have voted him out. Bye Sandra. I liked that they clapped she deserves that, 94 days is amazing.

I will always have a soft spot for Cirie and hope she does well because of her being on Casaya. That will always be my favorite tribe. Her arc on Survivor Exile Island was great, and I was sad when she left at 4. Hopefully we see some of her game this time around soon and she goes far.

I missed the first 12ish minutes but got the gist; Ray and Stein get killed in the Doomworld. It was great to see the doubles of most of the team interacting with each other. Sara and Mick were the best parts, and glad that Mick is a part of the team again. Hopefully no more "we can't trust Mick" stuff. On that note, shut up Stein, the ship crashing had nothing to do with Mick navigating. Sad Rip left, but since the consequences of what they did are so bad, I'm sure he'll be back. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed no one died just that I thought there was going to be some changes for next season, but everyone but Rip is still there. I was so happy when Nate volunteered to go back to Zambasi with Amaya! Like literal grin on my face, but then Amaya's like "nope, I wanna stay here with you," which I get because if her destiny is so bad then yeah, no one would want to go back, but she actually is an important figure so I agree with @Primal Slayer its not going to go well for the team. The only episode of Arrow I've seen are the crossover Flash episodes but that scene with Sara and Laurel was great. Tough but right choice for them. I love this crazy show! Edit: Forgot to mention my favorite part: Ray reacting to Mick dying, and the real Mick reacting to that, and the "No hugging." That was funny and cute. Finally some Ray and Mick friendship that's been missing the last couple of episodes.

I don't know about Varner but Aubry was nodding her head when Michaela listed the things she does at camp. She was nodding yes, she has seen these things, while Sandra verbally answered, thats how I took her reaction. I think Aubry was agreeing with JT on the drama in general and about the fighting. Maybe Aubry doesn't like Michaela either but I don't think she was on the lazy camp with JT.
-
I really didn't get why JT had such a problem with it. Its something for all of them to share, if Michaela wants to just eat the sugar straight up then she has every right. Why was Aubry agreeing with JT on this? I couldn't believe how good Varner and Sandra were at Tribal, before tribal I thought JT was a goner, but then they way they talked at Tribal I was like Michaela is going home because Varner seems to be on JTs side. Sandra is cool under pressure and a good liar, I couldn't believe she pulled out the, "We're with HIM," while being completely against him. You guys are killing me, I'm laughing so hard. One of the best experiences of watching Survivor is reading all your guys thoughts! Totally agree, there's always something fun to talk about with each episode. Loving it. Thanks for the recaps, I was with @JudyObscure in that I thought it must be editing because Debbie was insistent that she did much better. The flashbacks were good though. Reminds me of the Dan Foley situation; they don't want Debbie coming to them later, saying that they edited her badly. I actually did a little "aww" when I heard Hali say that, it was really sweet. She was trying to make Debbie feel better. She must of been so confused when Debbie went off on her.

Yeah, I can understand that. I feel that the Olympics are about the best athletes in the world, and in certain sports the best are professionals.
