Shake is obviously a complete douchebag but I did agree with him regarding spilling all the tea.. Sal’s intimation that there was something dramatic that happened that we didn’t see with Mallory is a bitch move in my opinion. It leaves it up to the viewer to fill in the blanks. It’s like Megan Markle revealing that one of the royals made racist remarks but won’t say who - either be honest and forthright or don’t say anything at all. Half the story just leads to unfair speculation. Also I think Vanessa looooooved it when Shake made that remark about only finding her attractive.. but I’m not the biggest fan of Vanessa. I also prefer Iyanna’s pixie cut and Mallory’s curly hair. I hope Deepti finds someone who will respect and uplift her. Also hated her dress on the reunion though. Still bummed that she wasted that gorgeous wedding dress on Shake.

Shayne has an obvious drug problem in addition to being abusive. I truly don’t understand the affection for him or the desire to see Natalie work it out with him. When she was crying and saying she knew that she was at fault for “pushing him to that point” my heart broke and I just thought “girl no”. You don’t have to accept any ownership over someone’s shitty behavior or poor emotional outbursts. Just because Shayne needs constant validation doesn’t mean Natalie has to accept some blame when he verbally torments her and claims to hate her. She really should cut all ties with him and move on. He’s a tweaker who will make a mess of her well put together life. Also I believe Shayne and Shaina slept together and agreed to keep it on the DL. I think Shayne was freaked out and worried Shaina was going to spill the beans.

Yes!!! I almost posted this several times. She’s like Giada De Laurentiis - definitely a bobble head. She’s pretty but I don’t see the knockout everyone else seems to see.

Yes I feel you! I’m a people pleaser too which is why I can spot it.. and I am always trying to work on it too. I’ve gotten better now that I have a daughter and feel less bad about setting boundaries but always a work in process!

I feel like Clayton was coached not to say I’m falling in love with you to any of the women before hometowns - so that when asked by family members he could keep trotting out how he hasn’t said it to anyone yet. He seems like a nice enough guy but he is not polished enough for this role and you can tell that a lot of his lines have been fed to him because he parrots them back exactly the same constantly. Now that hometowns are out of the way he goes ham on telling all of them he loves them. He’s a people pleaser - which the producers must love in the ease of working with him, but it doesn’t translate well to the finished product. That’s why he seems so robotic.

I think Rachel knows how to play the game.. including warning how “tough” daddy is only for Clayton to feel so triumphant when he wins him over. Clayton seems insecure and needs his ego stroked.. Rachel should teach a Bachelor master class.

Kyle is creepy. He gives me stalker vibes. The kind of guy who you try to be nice to at first but doesn’t take the hint. And because you were ever nice, won’t even accept overt rejection. He’s fixated on Shaina’s looks too which doesn’t help.. he’s probably never had a woman in her league pay him any attention (and I actually don’t think Shaina is that great.. she looks hard and the pronounced fake pout only further ages her). Also, a Christian and an atheist can work out just fine as long as there is respect there and the religious one isn’t pushy. My husband and I were both raised Catholic - I’m still devout. He’s an atheist and we are raising our daughter Catholic. He goes to Church with me and never belittles my feelings on the subject. I am open about my feelings of faith but I don’t belittle his beliefs either. I just pray that one day God will soften his heart and I try to lead by example 😇 He may never change his mind and that’s ok.. I’ll always love him and treat him with respect. Anyway, Shaina clearly identified it was an issue for her. Kyle’s problem is he kept minimizing the importance of it.. just because it wasn’t important to him doesn’t mean it’s not to her. Shaina is a piece of work. She played coy with Shayne and that doesn’t work with him.. he needs his ego stroked and to know clearly that someone is into him. She panicked when Shayne told her it was too late. I think she accepted from Kyle out of that rejection and maybe hoping she’d get more camera time and get the chance to see Shayne in person and change his mind. Once she laid eyes on Kyle and had to spend time with him she couldn’t even keep up with that charade so she went with plan B.. try to undermine Shayne and Natalie’s relationship. It makes her look even more heinous and I’m embarrassed for her. Danielle and Nick are both damaged people who have a lot they need to work through in therapy before getting married to anyone. Danielle has obvious issues of insecurity and I don’t doubt that her mom’s clear drinking problem caused a chaotic and maybe disordered household. Her mom seemed perfectly nice but she really strikes me as a big drinker. The way they argue shows a lot of immaturity. I understood why Danielle was upset.. she wanted Nick to devote all of his attention after meeting her family to praising them and reassuring her that everything was wonderful. That she needs that so desperately to the point of creating a huge fight out of it just demonstrates that she needs a LOT of therapy before she can love someone. She doesn’t love herself. Nick has some issues too but his aren’t as easy to pinpoint because he’s not as demonstrative about it as Danielle. They are being codependent - always a recipe for disaster. Mallory just wants Instagram followers and Sal seems to resent her at this point so maybe he does too. Deepti is a sweetheart and I fear for the hurt and humiliation she’s going to feel when she sees what Shake said about not being attracted to her. Shake was impressive with her family which isn’t surprising as they are so culturally similar. I want to believe he can have a redemption arc but we will see. Iyanna is such a cutie and Jarrett means well but he gave off major player vibes with that convo with Mallory so I don’t foresee them working out. It makes me sad for Iyanna who has real trauma and therefore legitimate trust issues.

Oh I don’t think she’s trying to convince herself. She’s trying to convince him so she can ride this out to the end and get as many viewers who turn Insta followers as possible.

I feel like the two on one is always an awful set up - by design. It’s always some laughable, unpleasant makeshift seating. This time it was cheap Walmart outdoor furniture in the middle of a grassy knoll surrounded by nothing particularly nice. It’s literally supposed to be awkward and weird because that’s what the whole date is. Two people who hate each other fighting it out over a not so great prize. The comedy of it is why I’m glad it’s back in all of its trashy glory.

I’m part Croatian and went there on my honeymoon in 2014… it’s hands down my favorite destination in the world. Gorgeous, clean, friendly people and the food and wine is top notch. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I really felt for Gabby - I can’t imagine going through that sort of emotional roller coaster with my own mother. That would definitely make a person insecure about their lovability. But it still seems really raw - and all of the phony affirmation one gets from the lead coupled with watching your love interest wine and dine a bunch of others seems like a bad environment for her issues

Brandon sounds like Adam Sandler - especially his Bobby Hart character from The Wedding Singer. It’s all I can hear when he speaks.

I agree with those who think Michelle is very measured in her responses.. she's also the type of listener that doesn't give a lot of cues that she's engaged, but rather lets the speaker finish before interjecting. I think both of these qualities are conditioned from being a teacher. I also think that because she is a teacher and at least for now says she wants to return to teaching, she has to be careful about what she says, how she reacts and behaves, and how she says things. I'm actually surprised there is so much kissing going on in light of that, but it's nice that it hasn't been hard core porn level make-outs like Hannah B and Katie. I was surprised she didn't give more words of support toward Rick, unless it wasn't shown - I feel terrible for him and what he carries with him. But honestly, if that were me, it would be a huge red flag - the way he still blames himself and carries so much guilt. I understand why, but it would make me fearful that he hasn't worked through that enough with a professional and that his trauma could cause him to be co-dependent and become overly attached too soon. I thought maybe that was why Michelle held back, but she seemed to be giving him a ton of romantic validation outside of that.

I like Michelle much more than I usually like the leads but the seen stuff was annoying. I’m sure the producers pound it into their heads - yes we found her hook and the men triggered an insecurity we can exploit and question her about in every talking head so she looks and feels obsessive about it! I hate seeing men like Romeo go but Chris S. stay - he’s DEFINITELY Michael Scott vibes - he’s a little low key Eric from Billy Madison too.

Kenny actually seems like a really nice guy (and my many accounts he is). He looks like he’d be a fuck boy but he doesn’t act like it. Becca only got the Bachelorette gig because of the way Arie broke up with her. She’s a big doofus.

Yes - this is what I assumed to be the case. I found pics of her from Peter’s season - she was stunning! And I remember thinking she was shady about the Alayah thing. I can’t believe that is her - she was really quite beautiful and didn’t need work done - ugh why do these women ruin their faces?

I can’t remember her either - and she looks very distinct so it’s strange. I can usually remember people from recent seasons - I also remember Tammy and her pot stirring but VP doesn’t look at all familiar. Though she looks like she has a shit ton of filler, collagen and cheek/chin implants so maybe she is barely recognizable from before - I was trying to find a pic from her season to compare.

Loving David Spade - his opening segment had me worried and I thought it would all be really bad. But his deadpanning and commentary was funny and on point. I never got the Joe appeal either - I mean I get being attracted to the boy next door, awkward geeky type - but he was never that. I always thought he had zero personality or sense of humor - the types of things that typically make a dorky guy loveable. I don’t hate him - I just don’t get the attraction. And he has the type of face that is not going to age well. I think it’s creepy that he’s going after such a young woman. I don’t think all age gaps are that big of a deal but closer to 40 picking up closer to a teenager is weird to me despite Serena’s seemingly mature demeanor.

Katie seems pissed. Like something bad went down - maybe all the guys bailed on her? And she’s angry with the show. I don’t know.. something seemed off and she was acting extremely uptight.

Whenever you have a cast of guys like this that are all in bro love, it’s because the lead did nothing for them. They didn’t feel competitive for her so there wasn’t animosity and male testosterone flowing enough to make them fight for her.
