I am watching on my computer and my husband is playing on his tablet - I said out loud are they just going to leave her there? He’s like what are you talking about? I said one of the girls can’t even figure out how to kayak her pumpkin across this lake and... never mind. Saying it out loud makes me seriously question my entertainment choices.

Ok I’m dating myself here but Anna reminds me of Melanie Hutsell from SNL she also looks and sounds just like a Lifetime actress who is kind of odd and quirky and does a lot of Lifetime movies - but since they all run together I can’t think of the name of a single one to look her up to show you guys who I mean.

Bentley Kit is extremely self involved. She had no interest in anything he had to say both when she first introduced herself and when they were on the steps interrupted by obnoxious Victoria. She seems like the type who merely waits for her turn to talk without listening to anything the other person says.

In response to the Lady and the Tramp routine my husband, horrified, goes “what if he doesn’t eat gluten?!” We’ve been a gluten free household for awhile now 😒

Zac is impressive because not only did he overcome a severe addiction but he doesn’t have the anxiety that many carry in their sobriety. He’s confident and seems to take his sober lessons seriously.. I think it said he’s an addiction specialist now? So he probably gets a lot of opportunities to reaffirm those mantras you learn in rehab and practice them in real life. He’s also very unselfish in his focus with Tayshia. Many addicted people can be self-centered but he doesn’t seem to be. He talks about Tayshia, what he loves about her and that he trusts her to make her own decisions and just hopes he’s part of her plan basically. I didn’t detect anything controlling or high strung in his behavior - unlike Ben. Hope it works out for these crazy kids.

This is such a good point. They can make you apathetic and he did have that affect. It’s also why they can sometimes cause a higher risk of suicide - it can cause some users to not care about anything.

I truly don’t make it a habit to speculate on people’s sexuality but I do agree with the poster that said Ben may be gay. He made a comment at one point like “I’ve never felt for another person like I do about Tayshia”. Could mean nothing but it sounded odd that he left it ambiguous by saying person and not woman or girlfriend. And I also agree with those who say he seems robotic. It took someone else to say hey you’re in love.. and he truly didn’t seem to recognize it could be a thing. Tayshia always seemed more into him than he was into her despite his words.. his words felt hollow and what he was supposed to say. On their one on one he was always riding ahead of her on the scooter and it never really felt like he was into her or focused on her. A West Point grad with a military career and perfectionist parents might lead one to repress their sexuality and true self and have depression and mental health issues as a result.

In the previews for the next episode Tayshia, all angsty says “there’s a rose ceremony - what do I do with THAT?” My hubby goes “she’s talking about his penis” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 We are super mature over here in the GracieK house.

“Questioning her integrity” 🙄 What annoys me about this, and other leads have pulled this too, is that relationships are a two way street. I get it they are vying for her as a “prize” and the lead is definitely coached that’s what they are. But to expect anyone who actually wants a real relationship to blindly accept what the other person does with no agency of their own is ridiculous - even in the context of a ridiculous show. IF the idea really is about making a true connection for ever after. For my superficial snark - I call Ben Gumby. From the wave in his hair to his too wide open eyes and his strange pronounced mouth that he talks sideways out of like a claymation figure.

Zac definitely has the red flags flying however I hate the lie detector date - who else did this? Andi? I don’t condone cheating but I find the polygraph so obnoxiously intrusive. You should have to find out if your mate turns out to be a lying dick organically like the rest of us do!
