Here’s my superficial comment of the night. Tino’s mom looks rough. Like addict rough.

How do you go into these meetings with family without more than mere platitudes. Rachel says “his positive outlook on life” and you can see Tino’s dad visibly roll his eyes. Like say something specific to Tino’s personality. Hell it would have been better to say he is a bit hotheaded and has shown jealousy but that they’ve been able to work through that - and she loves that he has that passion. Oh he’s so positive and caring. His dad is probably thinking no he’s an impatient little douchebag who complains all the time.

I’m happy to see Gabby connecting with Erich - especially with the other two having doubts. I don’t think Gabby is serious about Johnny though - she’s just having fun with him. He’s too young for her.

I’m all in for this Wildwood date. I grew up going to Morey’s Pier.

Updated tea - there is speculation that Logan hooked up with a Virgin employee. Virgin would have pulled sponsorship if they aired it because it would make the cruise line look bad. The scene with the men was filmed real time which is why Jesse said it was a “situation” and not that hey you’ve all been exposed to Covid. Scene with Gabby was filmed later after they figured out their brilliant Covid cover story that makes absolutely no sense - especially for unionized film crews who would have safety protocols in place to protect employees in the case of exposure.

Conspiracy theories out there already regarding Logan and that it wasn’t Covid that caused his exit. It certainly is suspect that he tested positive and then they cancel the cocktail party but all gather non-masked the next night? Like those exposed wouldn’t even necessarily test positive yet. And you would think that the entire cast getting Covid would be a pretty big issue to deal with. So strange.

Fun fact about Tyler and college - he graduated from the same college as me! Of course I graduated 20 years ago but I digress.. I also grew up frequenting the beach town where he has his boardwalk shop.

Rachel also kept Hayden after finding out that he insulted Gabby - so a lot of it probably is producer influenced.

I don’t think she was so rattled because it was Logan. I think she’s very image conscious, insecure and a bit high maintenance. It could have been any of the guys rejecting her and I think her reaction would have been the same. She comes across as very young. She is 26? I feel like I was much more mature at 26 but I didn’t live through a 2 year pandemic during my early 20s development so I’m sure that’s probably affected and stifled some of their personal growth.

I think she chose first and last so she actually had more picks than Gabby. Not sure why unless the producers knew in advance that some of the guys Rachel was going to choose were going to turn her down.

The way I understand it is Rachel ended up with one less guy than Gabby because Gabby didn’t hand out that group date rose. So if she does take Meatball back they both now, in no way that is producer manipulation, have the same number of men

That any guy would reject a rose just proves how stupid they are. Do you really think that Gabby is now going to give you one when you rejected her friend right in front of her? You’re lucky to get chosen and move on at all. They thought they were making a power move and showing Gabby what they’re made of and willing to do for her.. but Gabby knows and cares more about Rachel at this point than any of them. Plus they have to know that Gabby and Rachel discussed their picks before going to the ceremony. Meaning if you get a rose from one, the other wasn’t going to choose you. And it’s not like Gabby was given extra roses to make additional picks with. Plus girl code was going to prevail there. It’s a numbers game guys..accept your rose and just be glad you made it to the next week!

Yes agreed! Tyler was respectful - I shouldn’t have included him. He’s from Wildwood which is one of the Jersey shore beaches I grew up going to - so between that and his Philly accent I’m pulling for him!

Those three are complete boneheads. You can express that you’re interested in one of the women without putting the other down. Ugh these aren’t men they’re little boys.

It would actually be refreshing if in addition to them saying they don't want Clayton constantly brought up, that while he did hurt them, they don't condone bullying him.. it's over and they've moved on. I was hoping they wouldn't be pitting them against each other - I wasn't sure how they would handle this but I didn't like them greeting everyone together and apparently having ceremonies where on can reject a rose in favor of the other woman. It just feels misogynistic - but it is Fleiss afterall. I thought the entrances were awkward because it felt like most turned their attention to Gabby right away. It could be because she was on the left and it felt more natural to start in that direction - but she's also taller and going to attract more off the bat attention than Rachel - so it didn't seem nice.

I’m honestly surprised Cassie agreed to be a part of this.. especially since it’s so similar to her situation with Colton. Who pressured her to be with him and then aggressively stalked and sent fake texts to her as well as PUT A TRACKER ON HER CAR when she finally broke free of him. I mean she had a restraining order against him. Just shocked that the show would even go there with everyone knowing that situation given that they were a contributing factor. It doesn’t make the franchise look good. I kind of wish Cassie had said that Clayton should respect Susie’s decision and her boundaries because it’s a huge red flag for a man to force his emotions onto you and pressure you into abandoning your instincts.

Agreed. I actually do like Susie but the cynic in me says that’s exactly what this is.

I think Clayton is a bore and is too easily manipulated. But I don’t think he’s a bad person or even a fuck boy.. I said last week he’s a people pleaser and I still believe that. He didn’t try to excuse anything and accepted responsibility for anything he may have done that upset the women. I feel bad for him. He’s being treated like a villain and I don’t even think he’s smart enough to be one.
